Pretty good hidden gem in the city🤩 What I love about this place is the portion sizes, the price and the quality! The sashimi cuts here are thick and large, the sushi is pretty fresh and my tempura was not oily or soggy, very crunchy. The staff here are super friendly and attentive! Even for take out, they do a great job of making the presentation look nice. Highly recommend to anyone craving sushi or sashimi :)

What an amazing find for a Hole in the Wall! High quality ingredients at reasonable prices. We've been waiting for a good sushi place in Alpharetta and we finally have one! Our second visit was just as wonderful as the first. My wife smiled so much after the 'o-toro'

I've been looking for a good sushi place for a while and I think Hole in the Wall is definitely it! Right when you walk in, the shop is well kept and has lovely vibes. Service was prompt and the server was very nice. We got a few rolls and one of the avocado bombs, and they were amazing. They tasted so fresh and the sauces were incredible. It took a while to get our food, but it's definitely worth the wait. Can't rush greatness! We split 5 rolls between the 3 of us and it was a perfect amount of food. The Volcano roll is one of their speciality rolls and was one of the best and most unique rolls I've ever had.

So Hole in the Wall finally opened 🤓 Yassss! I had no idea that baked sushi was a thing. The first roll is a shrimp tempura roll baked with a spicy scallop topping. The second roll is called Lucy in the Sky. It is made with at least 4 types of fish which is why the coloration turns from white to red as it transitions across the roll. The filling is made with lump crab meat. Yes.. lump crab not the sticks. So, needless to say, I'm stuffed and in my happy place right now. The menu for HW is pretty big, but the dining room is quaint. Today they have a 50% off deal going. We managed to get 4 sizable rolls for under $50. HW is now my top sushi spot in town. Cheers! @hwsushialpa great food! 😁

We loved our meal tonight! We shared a tuna poke bowl and HW ceviche which were both amazing! Then we ordered the dragon roll and smoky roll. Very fresh, well thought out and beautiful. Our server was lovely and even brought us a taste of a potential new mushroom appetizer. My daughter declared the mochi ice cream the best she’s ever had! We will definitely be back.

Absolutely delish!!! You’ve gotta try the Lobster Roll Sushi and Shrimp Pot Stickers. Great customer service as well. It’s extremely hard working next door… I could eat here every day.

Moved down from NYC and sushi hasn’t been the same. I’ve been looking for a laid back, “go to spot,” and most importantly, Fresh!! Finally found it here! Nothing was fishy, presentation was great, sushi wasn’t overpacked with rice (like many places), pleasant service, and fresh! My family and I will be regulars here!

Excellent sashimi, sushi and rolls. First time here so we decided to let the sushi chefs pick out our premium selections and they did an awesome job. Great flavors and we had a wide selection to choose from. We will be back!

I’ve been dying for some good sushi around Alpharetta area and now I found it. I ordered a ultimate combo and extra fresh diver scallops. OMG. The seafood is so fresh. They even deep fried the shrimp head for you already (fyi, in good sushi restaurant, master will deep fried the shrimp head after you have the sweet shrimp sushi or sashimi). The presentation is great. The rice is great. You can tell they put effort in it. It’s not too sticky, not too sweet nor sour. The rice for nigiri is just great. The fresh divers scallops are excellent. Large and sweet. Mouthful of sea.

I feel like the potential to be 5 is there, but unfortunately my sashimi was almost completely frozen, every mouthful felt like chewing ice. However, the nigiri and rolls were very good. The service and atmosphere were also impeccable. I will try to go back and see if it was a one-off.

We have been looking for a sushi spot that had both delicious sushi and entrees and Hole in the Wall was exactly that! My sister-in-law was visiting and has limited mobility so we needed easy access as well! Our menu questions were answered and the Sapporo was ice cold! Service was excellent, atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here for almost a year now, and it just seems to get better and better each time. This place is such a GEM! The name of the restaurant is absolutely perfect for this place too and that’s what I love about it. It’s just like walking around in Tokyo and looking at a storefront and wondering what’s behind their doors. All it takes is walking in and sitting down and experiencing how incredible the food is and how friendly and prompt their service is. Their menu is HUGE and they offer so many delicious things other sushi restaurants don’t. It’s probably the most relaxing atmosphere of any sushi restaurant in the Atlanta area. Do yourself a favor and visit! I cannot recommend it enough.

Great sushi! Friendly staff! And very clean restaurant. Big fan of Hole in the Wall Sushi. (The sushi is too good to remember getting a photo) We can’t stop returning to HW. Their sushi is the highest quality for a reasonable price.

Really the best sushi experience in the area. More choices than any place in the area. Friendly staff. Fair prices. They’ve recently started to offer alcohol. My wife, daughter and I had gyoza, chicken/shrimp tempura, beef fried rice and 5 sushi rolls and we spent 120$. Tempura was excellent and so was the pork gyoza. Fried rice was slightly oily and the beef a bit overcooked. All 5 sushi rolls were brilliant. Very fresh sea food. We’ve eaten here 4 times in the past year and not once have we had any issues. I’d highly recommend the place.

I think I have found my new go-to spot for sushi. Tried it last night with my son, and I’m still thinking about it today. It was amazing fresh sushi, great waitstaff, sushi chefs and great overall value. Just did a bunch of rolls and my son and I loved every bite. Without a doubt I’ll be back.

I have ordered delivery and eaten in several times now and the food is absolutely fantastic. This is hands down some of the best sushi I have had in Atlanta!! The Mellow Yellow and OrgaSumi and Big Apple are my favorites. The pork Gyoza, and chicken fried rice are also fantastic. Highly recommend!

It was a family dinner on Saturday late afternoon. They begin serving at 5 pm on Saturday, and we were the first customers. We ordered two persons ultimate dinner plate and tempura dinner. I can tell that ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Sashimi were quality fish meat that you can't easily find. Miso soup made big impression, taste and well seasoned. The price is not cheap but well worth of it. Recommend this restaurant.
