Oh my God do I love this place. I visited the restaurant and ate there for lunch.......delicious. The food is so flavorful. The seasoning is just right. On another occasion I had take out it was just like being there. It was still delicious. If you haven't checked this place out, you're truly missing out. Mexican is my favorite food and this place will put you on a flavorful roller coaster. Believe me you're going to love the ride.

Beware Beware !!!! Read Reviews before coming here. First -Service needs extreme improvement. Wait staff and hostess big attitudes. Second - Drinks all pre made, ordered pina colada pitcher. No alcohol. Tried the Sangria, Another No ! Mango Margarita all tequila no mango. Food I would rate a 4 out of 10. No details needed. Here’s the kicker they charged a 20% gratuity. On the receipt it says for party of 4, it was just two of us. When we asked why they charged 20%, they said it was written extremely small on the last page of the menu. If food, drinks and service were good, we wouldn’t have an issue with 20%, when all of the above was horrible, that’s when there’s an issue. Being forced to pay for horrible experience. There’s way better Marisco places. Keep driving don’t bother.

The service was terrible from the start. Had to greet the hostess ourselves… she basically nodded toward the seating area telling us to seat ourselves. The booth we sat at still had trash on the floor from previous guests. The food I ordered (Taquila Poblano) had an awful taste. Not sure if it was the sauce but it ruined my entire meal. My husband had the steak and shrimp fajitas and it was decent (just that). Then for dessert we ordered fried ice cream and we didn’t get that. They gave us a scoop of ice cream that was covered in Frosted Flakes as a substitute because the kitchen was closing. We weren’t told that, had to figure it out on our own and we were still billed. As stated our waitress was pleasant but the hostess who took our order and billed us wasn’t warm or pleasant at all. Made me feel like I didn’t want to be there. Also gratuity is automatically added. The food was NOT worth the pricing. We were out celebrating my husband and his victory that night and I felt awful that I chose this place. I do not recommend visiting this restaurant (Period). I never really write reviews on places I visit, but I wanted to be throughly vocal about my visit to this place. Hope this helps!

I love Las Fuentes. I always get the shrimp tacos or the Molcajete surtido. Most of the times I'm sharing my molcajete with a friend. The especial margarita is there best marg, the house one is really good too, but i enjoy the premium one. I've had a parties here in the past and the service is always great. Berenice always keeps the drinks coming; very good service. The bar area is great, i can always watch a game on the tvs. I can't believe Las Fuentes has been in business for almost 40 years! There food is terrific, drinks excellent, and the staff is friendly.

First time here of possible many ,many more times !!! Customer service was awesome! The nachos and salsa to start was good ! Food was good . I would’ve preferred the chicken and steak in our tacos to have been seasoned a little more . The pitcher of strawberry margarita was AWESOME 👏🏿 DEFINITELY WILL BE ONE OF OUR GO TO SPOTS FOR DRINKS AND MEXICAN FOOD !!!

I'm really disappointed in this business and their constant nickel and diming their customers. They make a really tasty queso fundido appetizer, but its price has gone up twice in the last six months. Then, they suddenly now charge two dollars for one extra flour tortilla. Finally they include a twenty percent gratuity on the check, which is also new. I don't mind so much, but they should point that out. Skip this place.

Food was subpar, was charged a gratuity fee even though we were not a group of 4 people on my bill also. Will never come here again this is not good tasting Mexican food. No seasoning on our skirt steak, the only thing that tasted ok was their chicken tenders. The tacos had more fat than meat and our pork was undercooked for the pork tacos. For the price they are charging I’d rather go to Brighton park for actual good Mexican food.

This place is located in Alsip. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, it's clean and the food is amazing! If I had to recommend any dish on the menu, it would be the Red Snapper fish. It's is fried crispy, seasoned to perfection, and absolutely delicious. I've had a few drinks but the mango marquerita is really good! The staff is friendly and there is ample parking. Come check then out!

This is a awesome restaurant and bar. I have passed over Las Fuentes in Alsip for years. Please stop if just for the amazing Margaritas. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Everything on that menu is delicious. The staff and service was very professional. I’m going back asap!

Great quality food the steak is top tier. Service is great. It’s nice inside. I would 100% recommend trying I’ve been a loyal customer for 10 years. I live in Darien and one at least once a week.

My first time here just moved to the area and driving around my 2 year old says mommy I want tacos so I came across this place. Went in clean wasn't busy at the time and me and my daughter went in to eat. The server was nice we placed our order and during the order placing I showed me a picture and asked him can that make it he said yes. So before our food came out he bought out what I had asked him if they could make. Definitely looked like the picture but I didn't like the taste. It didn't taste like the ones I was use to. So he bought out the rest of the food for me and my daughter and it was spot on. Towards the end he walked over and ask is everything ok I responded yes but I didn't like the two dishes he bought out in the beginning and before I could even say something he says well you're have to talk to the manager I responded ok but I barely ate any. Manager comes to the table and they mad Al BIG deal because I told them I didn't like the two to dishes she responded very unprofessional and said it was nothing that they could do. She goes even further and says don't come to a restaurant a pick something you've never tasted and then when you don't like it ask for your money back, but again because they mad a big deal over nothing they didn't hear me say cool charge me for it no problem I ordered it but I didn't like it can I get a taco instead. Very unprofessional and I could of go real ugly but I had my daughter with me but that showed me how people don't value others. I won't be back. Good food but unprofessional on the management part

Went for lunch. The steak was very flavorful. Of course the homemade chips and salsa were good too.

We were immediately seated upon entry, ppl were pretty well spaced until more ppl started coming, but most ppl and staff had on mask when not earing/drinking. Our food arrived so fast! It was hot and delicious. I thought the Marqurita was just okay. I prefer frozen Instead of on the rocks,, but it did have some kick to it! A bit pricey for a local neighborhood eatery, but not outrageous. I'd go back.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area! Food and drinks were delicious and staff was very friendly and attentive too. Our waitress came over to our table multiple times to make sure we were taken care of. 10/10 recommend!

Place was empty and food and drinks came pretty fast. Food and drinks were ok. But I couldn’t get past how dirty this place was. The bar had empty glasses that sat there the whole time we ate. The mirrors had finger prints and dust can be seen everywhere. They had plenty of staff just standing around. Maybe it’s not there job to clean which is why they don’t care but, management should really get someone to clean. The table was sticky, I wiped it myself with my own Lysol wipes I carry with me. I was just grossed out the entire time I was there. I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like.

I placed a take out order a total of 116.55. Get to the restaurant to find out the server Antolin gave himself a 10% gratuity. Look at your recipes guys! I’ve been to this restaurant plenty of times and never had paid gratuity on a to go orders. Definitely will never be going back.

I took my daughter here when I went to Chicago last month. I was starving!!! I got the deep fried snapper, it was so good and it was enough food to feed me and my daughter (and only 25 bucks). I was a happy mama. So when I had an impromptu trip to Chicago, I had to go back (tried to get the family to come with me but they said it was a bad neighborhood, I couldn't tell) and it was still just as good!!!

Food is ok but be aware of extra costs on your receipt. There was only 3 of us and they charged us a 20 percent gratuity fee. The owner couldn’t show me where it states that it’s their policy. Also, they are pushy with trying to get you to order larger drinks and chips salsa.

Went today with a coupla my good friends & we just had an enjoyable dinner. Service was great, they constantly came & made sure we had everything we needed. Place was clean, food was great. Their salsa was right on...not too spicy, not too salty. Prices were just right for this day & age. Will be going back there again soon.

So we wanted sea food. This was not the place for it. I think my husband already knew we were taking a risk. We ordered shrimp ceviche to go because he had a feeling. He was right. We should have walked away. So here is what we found when we got home. The shrimp was cut up in very tiny pieces, and there wasn't much shrimp in the dish. The majority of the meal was pickled onions, tomatoes, cucumber, and a few slices of avocado to garnish. It also came with tostadas and a GENEROUS amount of crackers. The cost was $27.50. Definitely not returning. We are still hungry, so we are opening a can of sardines from TraderJoe's. Today just wasn't our day. We write reviews because we want people to truly know what our experiences are at establishments. I hope Las Fuentes tries harder to get things right. We paid for shrimp ceviche. Where was the shrimp? How I wish we could have given a better review. 😔

We stopped by early weekday afternoon and had great meals. My huevos rancheros came w 4! Sunnyside up eggs and a delightful salsa and of course rice and beans w fresh tortillas. My mother had the taco pollo salad in a crispy tortilla bowl- we both ate like little piggies. We also enjoyed a tasty mezcal margarita, glad we didn't have a 2nd! It wasn't busy but we still had great attention from our server, and a leisurely visit and conversation without being rushed. Easy accommodations for handicapped people, large doorways and no steps or stairs.

Friendly and full of life, the staff at this establishment are amazing! We sat ourselves, were immediately approached to confirm our party's number and given chips, salsa and water. The waitress asked for drink orders, offered us suggestions on appetizers and glady adjusted a drink for us. Food and drinks were delicious ...only complaint was the inadequate amount of rice and beans given with each meal. I had to order an side of rice and these two items are normally given in abundance. Otherwise great outing!

Came on a Monday night, it wasn't too crowded. The oysters were fresh. My wife ordered a fish plate and for the most part the fish tasted good, I did taste some fishy parts. I had the shrimp plate, the sauce wasn't too spicy and it was good. Service was attentive and accommodating.

This is my first time writing a review on Google. I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and the last two times I was here, I noticed how the workers treated the Hispanic community, versus the black community. Us as a black community have to constantly vocalize our wants vs their culture gets a 10/10 service. I spoke with the “supposedly” manager Nancy and she stated to me twice that I don’t have to come back if the service is horrible. She’s correct but being a business and the priority is to bring in revenue, that comment was very ignorant. I tried reconciling the concern over the phone and she continued to be ignorant. The gratuity is included, but why am I tipping for horrible service ? A tip is extra. The server who “supposedly” was the manager as well stated “I’m only making $4hr” with all due respect sir that’s a personal issue. The food nor service is worth spending a dime.

First off, the service here is horrible. Servers were rude. We ordered a margarita pitcher which felt like it had 0 alcohol even after we drank the whole thing. the charge a 20% gratuity which they do not disclose ahead of time. we would NOT have tipped over $20 for rude service and no alcohol in our drink. by the time we got home we were actually all puking and seems like we got food poisoning because it definitely was not from the 0% alcohol margaritas we were serviced. i will never return

I had fish tacos and a spicy grapefruit margarita🍹 it was absolutely delicious. They have a habanero sauce for those who like spicy.

"Complimentary" chip baskets charged $16.00. We were a group of six and ordered six full meals and drinks. Our waitress, very nice, refilled the small baskets of chips and salsa as we waited. Didn't order them. Glasses dirty had left over flakes of tajin seasoning.

The food is good for most part but they could work on customer service skills. I was new in the restaurant and I felt how the local usual customers was given special attention .Everyone should be treated special.

Expensive for a couple of tacos and margie. Quality is fair, service is slow. To be fair, never had an entree here but was not inspired to do so by what I have experienced. With so many mexican food options nearby, I do not go here anymore.

I took no pics but I order Uber Eats from here all the time I was just gonna do take out but it was cute and inviting I decided to dine it it was awesome nice service wonderfully fresh salsa chips 🫤 but the drinks were nice and delicious. Definitely going back.

No! You can only sit outside on weekends, rice was old and crunchy, all drinks are premixed no exceptions! The shot was mixed with ice!

Took my best friend here and just like myself, she loved it. Real authentic Mexican dishes that taste great. Our waitress was so nice and friendly. The salsa and chips are definitely made in-house. The margaritas are amazing. Give Las Fuentes a try if you are interested in good Mexican cuisines.
