I absolutely LOVE a good Breakfast and this place was a hit!!!! We looked over the entire menu and honestly everything looked delicious, but our focus was breakfast. This restaurant is like a hidden Gem, Google recommended this restaurant and I'm glad I decided to eat here (party of 4). The Staff was very friendly and the Owner of the restaurant was very down to earth and we could just tell he takes extreme pride in his restaurant and the quality of every meal served. Country House Restaurant is COVID-19 friendly, all rules are being followed: masks, 6ft social distancing, even has each section with long plastic barriers so that you can actually safely dine-in, they care and I appreciate them going the extra mile to make sure their customers are safe while dining (though you can also get food to go, order ahead etc). This place is definitely now on my list of favorite places to eat!

Searching for a location for a funeral luncheon I came across this restaurant and decided to call due its proximity to the cemetery. I spoke with Dave, explained the situation, apologizing for the very short notice. Dave wasted no time booking his large room for us and created a menu befitting our loved ones, explaining everything in a manner that put us at ease. From the time the first person walked through the door until the last one left we were treated as if we had gone to his home for a meal. Menu choices and food quality were absolutely outstanding. Even more outstanding was the performance of his staff. Everything was prepared and available as soon as we arrived. At one point I was was walking the room greeting family and had not eaten yet as I was the last one to arrive but did not think much about it. Without my knowledge one of the servers prepared a plate for me and warmed it so I could enjoy as others had. To me this small gesture was as above and beyond as it gets. The service and attention we received throughout our stay could only be described as exemplary. I look forward to returning under better circumstances and will recommend Country House at every available opportunity. Well done everyone!

This is a gem of a local restaurant! This was my first time here and all of the staff was pleasant, welcoming and I believe truly cared about my experience. I had no less than 3 staff follow up with me after getting my food and I was highly impressed. I did enjoy the tasty chicken noodle soup and the hot chicken sandwich was quite awesome. I will definitely return and you should too!

A great place to go for some good food and outstanding service. The salads are gigantic and my children stir fry was delicious. Go and enjoy. Update 4/29/22 Food and service were great once again. I had chicken noodle soup and buffalo chicken mac and cheese. Yummy.

We worked with Dave to cater our wedding and we couldn't of been happier! Dave helped us select an amazing menu, and communicated throughout the process. On the day of we didn't have to lift a finger thanks to his amazing staff and specifically his manager Chris. Everything was perfect! Amazing food, amazing service. Highly recommend!

They have the best waitress working here! Her name is Marina! She goes above and beyond to personalize your experience and make you feel welcome and at home. ! I have honestly never had better service and I should know because I am a waitress myself. The food is delicious and the environment is very pleasant . I come here with my family and we love it. Highly recommend coming here.

The beef brisket eggs Benedict with chipotle hollandaise is absolutely the most delicious breakfast dish I have ever had. This plate and side order of fried red potatoes seasoned to perfection just completely blew my mind. I haven’t stopped thinking about it ever since. The vibe here is extremely homey and I am super proud of this amazing restaurant that my home town has to offer. The owner or GM seems very close with his patrons which is very nice to see everyone in a happy mood! If it’s respect, chill vibes and a good meal that your looking for, look no further! I would give this place a shot before you try anywhere else. Hope I convinced ya! 😊

Our server welcomed us like we were coming into her house. She made the place. Hope is her name.and she will be the reason I return. The breakfast was really good. It's a family atmosphere. I was starving by the time the food arrived. I enjoyed observing the smiles and laughter while everyone in the restaurant was eating.

As a group we have come here for years because it is centrally located for our members. Because we get together infrequently, when we do, we stay for hours. The staff have always been accommodating allowing us to linger long past finishing our food. The manager came to check on us. Everyone was able to find food they liked and enjoyed. We will continue coming here.

We ran out of good goto restaurants but we still have country house! It's at least 45 minutes drive from our house so we only get to go with relatives. Great place! Great food! Great service!

Food was good. But service was a little rough. Had a young server, so she might not be used to multi-tasking so much, but she just didn't come back to the table enough for refills, including coffee. It's a little pricey, but considering how much the cost of food has gone up, it didn't surprise us much. We'll definitely good back, just hope we either have a different server, or that she's gotten a better hang on things for next time.

Pot Roast was very good and plenty of it for two meals. Turkey and Bacon Club with real turkey was excellent. Wouldn't recommend an omelet at dinner time it's just average. The service was excellent. Food came out at different times for 10 people. A little pricey. The average dinner plate was $21 and over with just a soup or salad. Pot Roast was $23 with a bowl of soup. Cream of Chicken Soup was excellent!

I went there for breakfast. The atmosphere was friendly. My server name Hope was so amazing. The customer service was awesome .I will be back.

The food was delicious, I highly recommend. I had the Athenian chicken with cream of Chicken rice. For dessert I had the smores tart dessert, also delicious. Will definitely be back for more.

Great food. Everyone was happy. I had chili and open faced roast beef. Large portions, both were great. Chili had a sweetness that i normally dont like but it was tasty, especially with the raw onions. We will definately be back.

My family and I have been life long fans of the Country House. They have catered family parties, baby showers, etc. The school I work for also frequently orders from their menu for staff events, and we are always satisfied (we ALWAYS talk about their amazing Caesar dressing, which they make at the restaurant) .The restaurant menu & the catering menu are both amazing, and I have yet to find something I have eaten from there that I didn’t enjoy. I am a younger teacher & cheer coach.. The Country House Restaurant was nice enough to donate food for a fundraising event for my cheerleaders earlier in this school year, once again everyone was satisfied by their food. Thank you CH for everything!!

Do not pass this place up!! The outside doesn't look like Much, but once you enter you are greeted with smiles and the smells of food!! They serve up beautiful desserts and food from breakfast to steaks!! We loved the burger tacos! We've never had anything like that and the quality of meat they used was great! We also had the margarita pizza and that was also amazing! The ingredients are fresh and portions are plentiful! Our waitress was Kim And she was spectacular! A good waitress is hard to come by and she surpassed our expectations! We are from Wisconsin and will definitely make sure we stop back here again when in the area!!!

They catered our wedding of 100+ guests. The food was AMAZING and the servers were extremely kind and professional throughout the entire night. Several guests commented that they went back for seconds and appreciated the buffet style meal. I would 100% cater from them again!

This is a fantastic, family owned establishment, where everything is prepared fresh, not pre-cooked. Staff is friendly and attentive, building relationships not just orders. A refreshing experience!

Went to Country House today. Walked in was seated immediately. The server acknowledged us right away and brought us beverages. We were not rushed to order. Country House has an extensive menu with many choices for the diners. The food was delicious and arrived quickly after ordering.The soup was very good. Our server was fantastic. The prices are very affordable. Overall a very good experience no disappointments from our table.

This is a great breakfast place. The food was delicious, especially the potatoes. The service was excellent. My waitress took such good care of me. I felt like I was at my grandma's or my aunt's house. I definitely recommend the Country House.

We were a group of 10. No problem for this well organized staff. Oak dining room tables and chairs greet you. Prices are good, variety of menu and wine/liquor list large. The food was fantastic with portions big enough for a hungry guy. Kids portions available. Also have a pastry chef with delicious offerings and ice cream/sherbet as well. Call for reservation. Easy location at 127th and I-294, across from ice rink. Big parking lot.

My husband's family always loves to go here when we go out to eat. It's perfect cause I always love having breakfast for dinner. This time though, our service was just not up to par. No silverware, yet we received Coffee, creamer, and bread and butter. I had to actually ask for the silverware. The food was good, but did take rather long. Just wish that if they were going to hire younger servers, that they made sure to train them correctly. We waited on Coffee, which everyone was drinking. Well still return, but hoping this explains the little issues that can happen. Food, at least soup and breakfast, is always good.

I love Country House and I love Marina she's a great server and very mindful of my gluten allergies which I really appreciate a lot. Also they have a great menu with lots of delicious gluten free options. I've been coming here for years and I'll keep coming as long as they are in business.

I’ve been to Country House several times while visiting my sisters and cousins in the south suburbs and always had a good experience. I usually order their “Biscuits & Gravy”, the best ever. As a rule, most restaurants have a plain white gravy with bits of breakfast sausage but not at Country House they put a sausage patty on top of the biscuit the eggs come next and then they put a generous amount of gravy on top. They even have bits in the gravy in addition to the sausage patty. Somehow I missed the delicious home fries that come with it. Good coffee and service in a nice family atmosphere.

David and Paul have assembled an incredible team. The food is excellent and the service is always over the top. While visiting the area we ate there 4 times in 7 days...lol. They hosted a group of 20 for us for a family event and it was excellent. Make sure you bring your appetite!!!

First time here, excellent service our server Patrick was awesome 👌 👏. I had a skillet 👍👍my wife had the open face turkey and chicken noodle soup 🍜 will definitely be back. Everyone was very helpful even the waitstaff that were leaving talked the restaurant up koodos the them . Even the owner stopped by our table and talked with us, ace duce in my book.

I have gone to this restaurant for many, many years but not super often as I live in another state now, but whenever I'm back in town, I love to visit this restaurant. And I am never disappointed. Even at times when there has been something messed up in our order, they always take care of it promptly with no further problems. The menu is extensive, so I always have a hard time choosing what to get! Honestly though... anything I've ever got has always been delicious. Server today was very nice and prompt to refill our drinks. Highly recommend!

From my experience this restaurant is awesome. Good customer service and good food. What more can you ask for? I haven't tried all of the menu yet, but I have had the pancakes, crazy red potatoes, and a few other things. Yeah good stuff. They also have gluten free options for those with celiac disease! I would recommend giving this place a try for sure. The only downside is I wish they had a little more space for parking. Hope they expand soon.

My family and I went to brunch after church and had a group of about 10. Our waitress was quick, efficient and extremely funny! All the staff members at this restaurant made sure we were taken care of before we could even ask for an item. The owner or manager walked around to every table to check and make sure we all had what we needed. Food was amazing! This is most definitely our post-church brunch restaurant!

I’m Back like I said once again the service and the Atmosphere was PERFECTION at it’s best. 5 STARS all across the Board for the COOKS, SERVERS ,EMPLOYEES .The Service was just as GREAT this Morning When my Wife and I had Breakfast and I’m back this Afternoon With my Wife and Daughter. Superb. The best country style restaurant in the south suburbs. Been coming here off and on for at least 12 years. The staff is great and the food is delicious. Generous portions and a huge menu. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner... The food is fantastic. If you like comfort food, trying this spot is a must. Spacious setting and family friendly. Huge parking lot as well.

Awesome!!!!!. Every time I come here I fill like Royalty. Everyone was Great my waitress Meagan was superfantabolous. We never had to get her attention for extra bread, water, or pop she was on it the food was cooked to perfection. They have The best Salads and the world. They truly are a family and works very well together. If you need something like an extra fork and your waitress is not around the other waitresses will get one for you. To top it all off the Manager or the owner took time out of his busy schedule to acknowledge the customers. Five Stars across the Board.
