This was my second time visiting. Great comedy shows. Tony Sculfield, Damon Williams and the crew are amazing comedians. The staff is great.

The comedians were funny. The arrangement of seating was poor and it was overcrowded no moving or leg space at all. The drink prices are ridiculous I don’t drink ( 2drink minimum) so I order cranberry and a bottle of water 33.00 like whattttttttt. The gratitude was included but when the waitress gave me my change she kept and extra dollar. Also you need tickets to get out to prove you had purchased two drinks. If you didn’t I’m guessing they are going to force you too even if you don’t have money 😂 (well I don’t know what they’ll do). Need a better check in policy, if I purchased vip tickets I expect to be treated like vip (meet and greet)

This place pack a whole room which leads to a ultimate tight crowd. You sit shoulder to shoulder with no moving room. There is literally no walking room. You have to form a line outside especially in the cold weather. Drinks are served in plastic cup and drinks are super expensive. My bf and I bought 5 shots totaling the amount of $125.00. The front box office is so unorganized. You'll wait showing your ticket and they will start searching it in their system for atleast 10 minutes. Ridiculous....

I just moved to Chicago and this was one of my first times having a real night out. Neat little suburban club. All the service from the ticket lady at the door to the bar servers was really friendly. Drinks are expensive like they are at any comedy club, but less than I've paid at similar places. For those complaining about the two drink minimum, that is absolutely standard at any comedy club, and I've been to clubs from LA to NYC. The tickets are dirt cheap for the level of entertainment, and that's why. My friend and I had an excellent time, and I plan to come back!

Funny comedians! They don't serve food. Don't order mixed drinks, the bartender sucks. They really need to work on their system of checking patrons out after the show. The little security guard tried to hold people in the building until they produced a receipt for their required two drink minimum.

The club does not welcome walk ins. "If" their show isn't sold out then yes, but that should be cleared on website. Knowing that, hope to be back to review fully as I went to the show that wasn't sold out at the time. Update: Thank you for your response and look forward to it. At the time the show was not sold out and it not clear based on show times how early we could go buy tix for a later show. I don't live far so I def look forward to going back and updating review!

Went here last night after dinner with a friend for laughs and drinks, and left disappointed. Show was running behind 30m and ended an hour late. Comics were ok but good, however some people in the audience were disrespectful talking and joking while Comic’s were on stage. Thee biggest disappointment was the staffing only one waitress to occupy the whole room. The drinks were awfully disgusting, and whoever the bartender was should be retrained ASAP or fired. I’ve been to this establishment several times and I can honestly say this was thee worst experience by far.

The drinks was horrible! I ordered a Long Island and it came in a small plastic cup, you can't put all the liquor that they put in a Long Island in a 3" cup! Performance was great Saturday night August 20th but they need to do better with the drinks.

TK Kirkland, Damien Williams and the opening act was great. Both guys was super cool and handsome. They was so down to earth and took pics with their fans. Definitely a 5⭐ show. But that over priced 2 drink minimum! We paid $60 for the show and $75 for 4 drinks. Make it make sense please.

I'LL NEVER GO BACK! They have a 2 drink minimum that is only posted on the Riddles website and when you come in the door. Not on the website that you purchased your event tickets. The lady named Cheryl or Pat has the absolute worst attitude and disposition about this policy. I actually had a verbal altercation with her and left without paying. Horrible..... the waitresses charge "tax" in order to get their own tip. When I asked another waitress about the tax, she said there is no tax. The establishment is packing people into the place like sardines. A complete rip off. I'll never go back. NEVER

Deon Cole was great as always. It really hot in there so fyi. The waitress we had was amazing and so were the drinks. My biggest complaint was my husband and i came over a hr early so we could get decent seats since I’m so short. It turned out to be opposite they made us sit in the very back but everyone who came way later got the better seats. I don’t understand but other than that the show was awesome

Funny night out every time...... Reasonable ticket prices...... Side note: They have a 2 drink minimum requirement. Always funny! I've never not laughed majority of the night. It's a good go to......

Drink prices are a bit steep but everyone is overpricing liquor these days, no matter what area of town they are located in. Service was fast and they are professional. Enjoyed the last Thursday of the month show. Good laughs!

I had an awesome time. So much fun Sherri Shepherd was hilarious. The club was nice just a bit warm eventually turn the air conditioner on. But overall it was a very good show. Damon Williams and the other comedians were so funny .

Nice venue for intimate evening. I thought $18 for a drink was a bit much, but oh well. Hate I missed Damon Williams, but the comics did their job 😄

Monday nights are great to see new comics and get drunk to kick off the work week! ALTHOUGH there is one comic named Marty B. who always sucks, but everyone after him is like a breath of fresh air. Also the host Will Hill and DJ Alan Ford are hilarious, and im not pandering at all, even though me typing that just now may seem that way. It's a mystery, so come see for yourself, and! even on a bad night, you can watch and laugh at comics dreams get crushed and flushed down the toilet, as they wallow in misery at the bar. Good times had by all!

1st time visiting nice and clean place. Comedians were extremely funny, two drink minimum not bad, except I'm not a drinker and I ordered a cranberry juice and a ginger ale the ginger ale was old and flat and the cranberry was not real cranberry juice it was cranberry drink super sweet. Other than that. I will return.

First experience at a Comedy Club, my sister and l shared our birthday with family and friends..very enjoyable and the Comedians were great. Shout out to Mr Damon Williams for giving us all a fantastic evening

Great comedy and comedians each and every time! They need to upgrade and get central air comedy 😂 I went in the summer and last weekend it was so hot and stuffy. The wait staff adds $9 gratuity to each 1 person's 🎟. I wasn't too pleased with that especially since there's a 2 drink minimum and the drinks are more juice than liquor. The club is a old skool and I love that.

Visited this comedy club when they did a tribute to the late "great" Bernie Mack. It was hosted by Damon Williams who did a great job hosting👍! We met the owner who was very hospitable, it was a great night.

I had a great time at the show. It was a great experience. I just have one suggestion it's not for the club it's for the comedians , they need to get digital business cards so people can scan the QR code and get all their information

Great time with some talented comics. Cash only for drinks is a bit of a nuisance.

I had a great time!! It was my first time visiting Riddles Comedy Club, so I was unsure of what to expect but it was very casual, interactive, and fun! I gave it only 4 stars because they add an automatic gratuity to your check, it is not a deal breaker just slightly presumptuous, although I am certain they have their reasons. I was looking for something casual and kinda "divey" and Riddles did not disappoint, I will definitely go back. I now know to eat before visiting and bring enough cash for the 2 drink minimum, (I had a few more 😊) and automatic gratuity, which I learned once I perused their website while waiting to gain entry.

I was a little skeptical, but actually really enjoyed ourselves. The set-up could use little help, and the reminders of "Smile You're on Camera" on each table is a bit tacky. The staff could dress a little better... But overall, We had a good time... Will go back for sure!!

I enjoyed the comedians they were very funny. The person making drinks gabby was amazing she knew exactly how to make my drink and her customer service was great. She kept a smile and was very polite and respectful.

The comedian, TK Kirkland, was really good. The fee to get in and the price for drinks was reasonable. The drinks weren't watered down and they had bottled water available for their two drink minimum. We were packed into the location like sardines. They only take cash at for the bar and I don't remember seeing that before I sat down. Everyone sat at brown folding tables with stackable chairs. I don't see me going back because it was too crowded and the seating was substandard

My daughter and her significant other really set it off for my birthday! They treated me to dinner and ultimately we went to Riddles a few doors down. I had the most terrific time that will always be memorable for me. The comedians honored me for my birthday. Rev, who was the senior comedian for that night, really showed out to celebrate me for my special day. My daughter invited cousins and close friends that I had not seen in a while to celebrate with me. I can't wait to get a chance to go back for more fun, and hilarious jokes!

Bar is wonderful, Security doing an amazing Job, the stand up acts of Chicago have all been here. Plenty of sit down and stand up Room. Parking was easy, showed up early, an amazing place. Paid performance from T.K. Kirkland! Outstanding!

I went to the Monday open mic. The host Will Hill has great energy and is a funny comedian. I hope to see more of him soon. The drinks are overpriced even on a Monday. The room is very nice, not a fan of the table and chairs.

Enjoyed the laughter with my sorority sisters but was immediately annoyed when the bill came. I was unable to consume liquor because I'm pregnant so I choose other options. To my surprise I paid 10 dollars for 2 bottles of water and six dollars for a cup of juice!! Absolutely ridiculous!! No prices listed in sight so your stuck with the bill. Many people were complaining as well and nothing was done about it. I will never go back!

Many of the reviews are about the two drink minimum, but thats usually standard at any comedy club, I planned on it, and so I ordered both minimums for my date and I right away, so to have less interruptions during the show. Even when the doors open there is a bar you can get drinks from to bring in right there but doesnt count towards your minimum. No big deal but convenient if you dont want to wait. From the moment we got there parking was convenient to me, we didnt even get there that early. Everyone in the staff from security to bar to DJ to wait staff was excellent and pleasant, and got us smiling right away. We saw Brian Hooks on this occasion and were able to interact with him and hang after the show, its also not a bad drive from the northwest suburbs, we look forward to going again! Thanks to Robert and Damon Williams, the care and ethic the employees showed was impressive and meant a fun night was a memorable one, thank you!

There is ample parking, and the entertainment is okay. They tell you if you don't buy two drinks and receive a yellow ticket, they will not let you leave. I won't be back.

Date night with my Husband. Paid $20 at the door for the 1030pm show. Everyone was friendly and the music was on point. Two drink minimum. We had a great time and the comedians were HILARIOUS!
