Casa Chapina I don’t know if my words will be strong enough to describe just how truly amazing our experience was tonight. Our server Jesse was busy and didn’t get to us right away. For that she was very apologetic. Her service was friendly and attentive, very welcoming. Something I have learned in my many years working in restaurants, a great server is an amazing asset. Jesse brought us our drinks, chips with puréed black beans and pickled jalapeño with carrots. To drink I had Jamaica, it wasn’t overly sweet it was just right. As far as the food goes. I went overboard and ordered chicharrón with yucca, Plátanos with black beans and crema, as well as an order of Tacos Dorados. My wife ordered a pupusa revuelta with an order of plátanos with black beans and crema. My mother in law ordered a trio of tostadas (1 with puréed black beans, 1 with salsa & 1 with guacamole) for all of us to share. Everything was perfect!!! My chicharrón and yuca fried to absolute perfection. The sweet plantains with the crema and savory black beans was absolutely perfect. My tacos dorados as well as the salsa tostada flavors were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Don’t come here if you’re someone who doesn’t understand that great food takes time to be made.

The food is authentic Guatemalan food! The service is wonderfully & the host are kind. The restaurant is clean and has a nice feel!

The food was D-lish-us. Their beans are the best beans I've had. And I love my beans. I'm not usually huge on pasta salad, but I was a big fan of theirs. The server lady was very nice and competent and they were giving out free roses for mothers day! I highly recommend this place for delicious food.

The staff is friendly. However, the young daughter had an attitude when after waiting 1:15 minutes, I asked them to pack it up to go because had a zoom meeting to attend. Fried fish was NOT FRESH. It was TOUGH and cold! My granddaughter's meal was SALTY. The bill was $56.00 plus tip. WWWWWay overpriced. We won't be back.😔

As a true Chapin I have never seen a CHILE RELLENO LOOK LIKE A FIFTY DOLLAR COIN,A CHILE RELLENO IS WHAT IS CALLED ,A CHILE,ANAHEIM OR PASSILLA CHILE ROSTED AND FILLED WITH A RELLENO, NOT SMOTHERED WITH EGG WHITE,MY EXPIRIENCE.WAS NO LESS THAN DISAPONTED SINCE I HONESTLY THOUGHT I WENT TO A TRUE CHAPIN RESTAURANT,FOR LACK OF BETTER WORD,TRULY DISCUSTING WHAT THEY THINK AND SERVED U ,SELL U AS AN FAKE CHILE RELLENO...I AM SORRY FOLKS,BUT IF U WANT AUTHENTIC CHILLES RELLENOS FROM GUATEMALA,WE ALL ARE BETTER OFF GOING TO GUATEMALA, BECAUSE THIS IS NOT AT ALL THE PLACE TO GET THEM....SO VERY DISAPPOINTING..

Definitely our favorite chapin restaurant. Very clean and authentic home made food. Best customer service.

huge portions for good prices- really simple delicious food served with a smile. our waitress was very kind and attentive. we will absolutely be back, also would consider this place for takeout, the portions are so large that we had enough for another meal
