Charming little shop serving Filipino comfort in Silver Lake! Clean with modern but vibrant decor, small diner with limited seating. Metered street parking can be hard to find during peak hours. Staff is cheerful and helpful. Food took a bit of time to arrive. The Brussel sprouts were bursting with flavor. The pork belly had a nice contrast of crispy skin and cooked meat. Garlic rice tied everything together! Sharing a starter and a main dish was enough for an easy meal for two. Prices were standard. Would definitely recommend, and go back.

We had dinner at Spoon & Pork in Silverlake today. Our order: the Adobo wings, Patatas Bravas, Lechon Kawali and the large Garlic rice (w/ a fried egg). Also had a bottle of San Miguel Pilsner. Only the wings were a disappointment (didn’t feel fresh for whatever reason). The Lechon was phenomenal and a must order…perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Our total bill for two was about $70.

First time here and had a delicious lunch! The pork belly adobo nigiri was one of our favorites. Friendly and quick service. Will definitely come back!

Overall: 4.7/5 (dine in) We haven't had Filipino food in a long time so we decided to get some after stumbling into Historic Filipino Town. Did a quick Yelp search and Spoon & Pork caught our eye. They have a shared parking lot next to the restaurant but it's not a good parking lot. It's difficult to get in and out due to the terrible design so be careful. We came in within half an hour of closing but they were nice enough to let us dine in. The food came out quickly so we were in and out in 30 minutes and left before the other patrons who were there before us and taking their time. Adobo Belly Nigiri: This came with 2 big pieces. Hard to eat it in one bite so mine fell apart. The adobe pork belly was really good. I think I would prefer this by itself or as a rice bowl but this is a great option if you only want to indulge just a little. Sisig With Garlic Rice: The garlic rice caused extra but I don't think it's necessary since the sisig bowl is already full of flavors. Everything just went so well together. I was savoring each bite. Highly recommend trying! Adobo Chicken Wings: Wow, these were full of umami flavors and really good as well. I would eat one wing then take a bite of rice to balance out all the flavors. Would order this again for sure!

So so so good. Great Filipino food with a modern twist. Service is attentive and the food comes out tapas style (as it is made). We went on a weeknight and didn’t need a reservation but it’s probably a different story on the weekend. Street parking can also be a little tricky given the neighborhood so just be mentally prepared for that. You MUST get the adobo pork belly and the lumpia. I would also recommend a side order of rice to sop up some of the sauce. We got the garlic rice and it was very good. Also don’t sleep on their pickled items. We got a side of pickled red cabbage and it balanced out the meal really well. We also ordered the luang. It was interesting to try something new but a tad pungent for my pallet. Overall very good - we would definitely go again.

Hands down one of the best meals that I’ve ever had in my life. The adobo pork was perfectly crispy and soft at the same time. It paired well with the fried egg, tomatoes and rice. I highly suggest this dish. Friendly staff and cozy interior add to the ambiance that just wrapped it all up into a great experience.

We really enjoyed our first time eating at Spoon and Pork. The restaurant is nice - comfortable, bright and clean. There’s a nice outdoor patio as well. The service is friendly and efficient. We ordered 3 dishes, patatas bravado, fried chicken and the patita. All delicious. The potatoes were fried nicely, crispy and salty with a vinegar-bases aioli. The fried chicken came with a delicious adobo sauce with fried bits of garlic. The patita was cooked to perfection. It had a chili sauce that was amazing. We’ll definitely be back.

Reservations recommended. We had the adobo belly nigiri, eggplant ensalada, patatas bravas, shrooms salpicao, patita, chicken inasal, steak, adobo rice, garlic rice. Everything was incredibly delicious. Service was great. For dessert, the buko tart was a good ending. Our group of 5 definitely food coma'd over the next few hours.

The "Filipino" food here comes with a twist that is not quite Filipino but adds a lot of great flavor to some Filipino favorites. The patita is their version of crispy pata but with a sauce that has a delicious kick to it! That dish is pricey but worth trying. Other dishes are reasonably priced and I look forward to coming back to try them. They also have some interesting drinks. Unfortunately, I was told they don't serve ice for some reason, at least when i was there. Service was good.

I can't believe it took me so long to dine here. Made it just after opening and was able to enjoy a great lunch on the patio. Quick service, good sized portions, and delicious food. I will definitely visit for dinner soon.

We left this place so full. I had to be rolled out. If you want Filipino food that reminds you of what ur grandma makes then this is the place. Be warned you are gonna wanna order everything and then be so sad when you cannot. We got a number of dished from the fried pork to the beef. All of the meats here are delicious

Food was great but it took 1h30 to arrive!!! It was quite insane. The waiters were sorry but they could’ve at least got us a courtesy drink/snack, but we got nothing for 1h30!!! It was the weekend and there was a group of like 10 people in another table, so this long wait time was probably an exception. Still, it wasn’t okay.

Simply delicious! 3 of us shared 4 or 5 of the small plates with a big bowl of the adobo rice, we left feeling so full, and it was less than $50. The frizzled Brussels sprouts, the mushrooms, the Patatas bravas, the pork belly nigiri - all were so, so good! The pickled cucumbers were also pretty tasty. Super fast service, memorable flavors, fun little space, and affordable. Will definitely be back.

5/13/23 Visit This food is incredible + the service was great! Shoutout to staff with shared Michigan connections. We swooned over every dish. Cannot wait to come back. Apps: Frizzled Brussel Sprouts, Mushrooms Salpaico (not pictured) + Lumpia Shanghai. Entrees: Pork Belly Adobo, Chicken Inasal + Fried Chicken Adobo. Sides: Annatto Rice, Garlic Rice + Atchara. Take-out Order: Patita + Egglplant Ensalada. Wish we'd been able to experience these dishes straight from the kitchen, but we were stuffed + also didn't want to risk not being able to come back during our final days in LA. The patita reheated nicely, but I know it would have been amazing at the restaurant.

The service was super friendly and fast. The place is clean and has plenty of seating inside and outside. Pork belly was really tasty, just not enough for the price. My meal was just dry and needed some sauce. I will be going back to try another meal with sauce like the adobo. Overall, good experience.

Wow! First time going and we have to say it was a really nice and tasty experience. We definitely had the WOW factor. As a Filipino American I'm so happy to see my food well represented and I'm thrilled that Spoon & Pork did just that with a few twists and flare but at the same time kept it as authentic as much as possible. Salamat sa iyong mabuting pakikitungo.

Just...yes. The food here is so good! Not that I had any doubts. I have heard from so many people that the food here is good. But I was not disappointed. I would gladly come back here. The staff, the vibes, chef's kiss. Thank you!

Food, vibe, service are all 5 stars! We got pork belly nigiri (finger-licking), laing (my favorite!!), eggplant esplanada (perfectly smoked), chicken inasal (so juicy! So flavorful!), garlic rice (yes!), adobo rice (drool!), atchara (good texture). We got a bottle of pet-nat. It was the PERFECT meal!! I love the service too. Very helpful and very nice! We know what we want to get again next time and what else we want to try. We can’t wait to bring friends here!

Delicious Filipino cuisine (Pinoy food)! Must try when you are in L.A. in both Silverlake & Sawtelle areas. Chicken Inasal, Shrooms salpicao and silvanas were the ones I tasted ! I enjoyed everything that I had!

This place is phenomenal!! It's been a struggle to find some great filipino food and this place definitely hits the spot. Their food is delicious, cooked to perfection and has a great balance of flavors. Jackie, the owner, was present for our visit and gave us great conversation and hospitality that we have missed from Philippines. She had us feeling right at home. Our stomachs and our hearts were full and well taken care of here. They also have a policy in place to provide proof of vaccinations for the inside dining which we appreciated fully because we have a high-risk family member and that helped us feel comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Went with my partner and we loved it! They have a great covered outdoor patio we sat at. The service was fantastic - our server was attentive, kind, and gave honest recommendations. We shared the brussells, shrooms salpicao, garlic rice, and fried chicken. I also had a glass of champagne that was a sizeable portion for the price. Our fav was the shrooms salpicao - amazing flavour and texture, followed by the brussells and rice. We felt the chicken was cooked to perfection but greatly lacked flavour. It was juicy, crispy (fyi this is NOT southern fried chicken with heavy breading, it's more like crispy skin) but was plain. Despite this, with the amazing side dishes we really enjoyed our meal. We only had a little bit leftover and thought it was great pricing for quality and quantity. Would def rec to others and go back! (Note: if you don't eat beef or pork, you are limited to 2 mains, but you're also going to a place aptly named for its menu).

Yummy and delicious Filipino food in silverlake! The ambiance of the restaurant has an earthy vibe with wooden decor and rattan woven lamps. The server recommended the Patita (crispy pork) which is what they're known for. You can substitute with garlic rice and add a fried egg as well. It was quite delicious! It's boiled in spices so it is very flavorful and it's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, I've never had pork quite like it. The adobo belly nigiri was also yummy with the classic adobo taste infused in crispy pork belly on a small ball of rice. Parking is in the shared lot with a taco stand.
