I've been bringing my pets here for almost 10 years. Love the staff and love the care my "babies" recieve! AMAZING vet clinic. I won't go any place else.

This place and the people who work here, are absolutely the best! We brought our baby, Emmie, and she started out aggressive but they were understanding and patient with her. Then when it was our turn and our tough girl became the biggest baby u ever saw, they were great with her then too! Really appreciated the care we found here!

If you’re in the area and in need of a Vet, formea is the way to go ❤️ not only is it affordable, but they made my animals feel like part of the family. They were calm and considerate of my high anxiety dog and they truly listened to the issues I was having with my cat. They didn’t try to do unnecessary tests like hawthorn. They were upfront, communicated extremely well, and extremely patient. Thank you Formea for such a wonderful experience!

Exceptional staff with hearts of gold! Amidst the emotional challenge of having to say goodbye to our beloved cat, we never felt pressured into any decision. When the time came for the procedure, their compassionate, caring, and patient approach eased our burden. We fully intend to entrust them with all our future pet care needs and highly recommend their services to family and friends.

Just moved to the area and had an incident that needed prompt attention. Formea got us in quickly, they were super friendly and reasonably priced. My cat, who's usually nervous with new people and places, was rather relaxed and didn't seem to be as agitated as she can get with new scenarios and people.

So far I love this clinic. They were able to assist me right away with a rescue/rehome pet without delay. Staff and medical team are friendly and professional. I am moving all my pets to this clinic.

I wish we would’ve started going here sooner! We took our dog Sophie in for bladder problems yesterday after going back and forth to another vet. They did the same tests on her as the other vet and gave us results within 15-20 minutes. The other vet didn’t give us results for almost a week and they made us come in for multiple appointments. Formea gave us answers in one visit. Unfortunately, it was not the answer we were hoping for as Miss Sophie was diagnosed with bladder cancer. They didn’t have ultrasound equipment available at Formea but they gave us options as to what we could do. Dr. Kraushaar sat down with me and explained the results in a way that was both understandable and empathetic. Unfortunately, we had to take her to an emergency vet for the ultrasound where it was determined that her cancer was in an area that is inoperable. Due to the risk of her bladder rupturing we had to make the decision to put her down. I wish I would’ve had the chance to thank Dr. Kraushaar for giving me answers and actually caring. Additionally, I wanted to mention how amazing the front desk staff and veterinarian assistants/ techs were. I have had multiple pets over the years and have dealt with many vets and this was by far the best vet experience I have had despite the circumstances. If I have another pet, I will 100% be sending them to Formea. Thank you all.

The caring staff is always very patient with my Yorkie who has extreme anxiety about going to the vet. During her exams and nail trimmings they always give her lots of breaks and love when she needs it. April is always very patient when working with my fur baby and never rushes with her. I will always use the Formea team to care for my fur kid! Special Thanks to entire team!

Been taking all of my cat's and dog's there for years. There care and kindness is like no other. Very welcoming atmosphere. They are truly family. Thank you guys for all the years of service and here's to much more!! Love you bunches!!! ❤

My mother chose this animal hospital for her dogs end of life care. They were more than friendly, accommodating, patient and empathetic until the end. Many of the staff members gave my mom hugs and made the process as painless as possible. Losing a pet is never easy, but these guys made it much more bearable.

Best vet everyone is very friendly! They got us in so quick I called on a Thursday was in on Saturday. In and out!! Coca Mocha is a happy doggie so is her mommy!!!

Saw Dr. Formea and Ashley. They were kind, humorous, and good with our cats. Went for a general checkup and to get them acquainted with a vet in our area. The office is clean, bright and well maintained. We will definitely come back here for future visits. Oh! Love the cat jokes on the front sign lol

I am absolutely happy with formea animal hospital, they treated my dog wonderful, I am disabled they helped me to and from my car, what more could I want in vet care. If they see this thank you Formea for being so compassionate

We took our little kitten there, who was very sick. Unexpectedly, however, it was a terminal illness and she actually passed while we were there. The doctor and the entire medical team were so compassionate and caring to us and completely loving of our little Luna Bella. The costs for everything were very reasonable as well.

Formea is a great vet clinic and they take great care of the animals. I took my fur baby in for his neuter. The staff was friendly and worked around my schedule to make sure I could be there after work to pick him up. I work in Granite City and is a fairly long drive from there to the clinic. They made sure to tell me that he was getting the attention and care he beeded. The office manager is amazing and checked on him first thing this morning. Highly recommend this vet clinic!

I actually really like most of the staff here and have enjoyed going here. I am actually writing about an experience a couple months ago where I had taken my cat in, who had taken a turn for the worse suddenly. Finances had been an issue for me so I had tried to use a Mastercard. It was a Carecredit Master card which was different than the traditional Carecredit card, that could only be used at certain facilities. It was a Mastercard, and was and is currently used like a traditional credit card. I even called Carecredit to be sure and also used it for several everyday purchase to be sure, and it can be used everywhere Mastercard is accepted. The receptionist at the desk did say that they do not take Carecredit but tried to explain that it was a Mastercard, not the traditional CareCredit card. She PRETENDED to run the credit card transaction and told me it did not go through. If they accepted Mastercard, I do not know, it was the lack of attempting for me. I work in customer service and deal with rudeness on a daily basis, but still, I work to make the customer happy. Even if I do not agree and frankly when working in customer service, where there are strained emotions, you appease the customer and try. It would have taken a minute to actually try. Embarrassed, I did scramble the money together. My cat passed a few days later.

First visit here - our current vet would not see us for over a week :( We LOVED it! Very accommodating, caring, NOT RUSHED, and informative. The place looked and smelled great too! Wish we would've found them sooner. My pup and kitty will both be coming here from now on - thank you entire staff for all you do!

Everytime the entire staff has been extremely kind and go above and beyond to help. Dr Formea, Dr magg and Jenny are awesome!

We have within the past 2 years switched to Formea Animal Hospital for our fur babies needs. We have been frequent flyers recently with our Yorkie. Dr. Maag has gone above and beyond to figure out the correct solution for our little guy's skin issues. The girls up front are also amazing and never once seemed bothered when we have called more times then I would like to admit. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for an exceptional Veterinarian!
