I didn't have an appt so I waited for about 20 mins. Which I didn't mind at all. I just wanted a nice simple pedicure alone with a manicure plus my eyebrows waxed. Hannah was my nail tech. She was awesome ! She did a great job on cleaning both my toes and fingernails. She made sure to massage my legs throughly . The lady who waxed my eyebrows was not only quick but did a wonderful job also! I recommend scheduling an appointment instead of being a walk in . If needing a nail salon, try these guys out!

I don’t live in Altoona so this is not my usual place. HOWEVER, when my usual manicurist is unavailable, I come to Top Nails. I have always been a “walk-in”, and I’ve only waited maybe five minutes at most. My last visit was beyond excellent with not a single nick to my cuticles. I had Tom and he was superb. Fast, and really skilled in his craft. I’m going to request him for all future visits.

Gloria and staff are always fantastic!! My mother in law and I stop in once a year during move in weekend at the State Fair campgrounds and we are always greeted promptly and politely! We usually never have an appointment…we don’t mind waiting. It’s always clean, they offer beverages and I’m never disappointed with my manicure or pedicure!!

I love seeing Lily for my pedicures. She does an amazing job, she’s detailed and I like that she’ll let me relax during them. I appreciate her work so much. Gloria is also cool 🙃.

Never had my nails done before and they were pretty fast. I will go back again. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Saturday morning I called to make an app for my daughter and I to get full sets, the lady on the phone made our apt for 1pm that day we live over an hour away and don't really have salons around our small town. We show up at 1pm the lady I talked to on the phone said sorry it's going to be an hour wait were behind..what? We didn't make an apt to wait another hour nor did we drive that far to wait that long. Luckily across the Street Happy nails was able to get us right In and did an amazing job. This is not the first time this has happened at this location but I tried to give them another shot, I think under new managment this place would do great but the current manager seems very unorganized and overwhelmed with the amount of people that come in, I don't think you probably should have sat the two walk-ins right before you talked to us about our apt. Very unproffessional, If you plan on getting your nails done in altoona, plan on avoiding the ciaotic mess at Top nails, there are so many better options in that town where the staff is very organized , proffessional and the salon is relaxing like it should be.

They were rude and the lady cut my daughter's finger while doing her nails.

I love Top Nails! They do a fantastic job and aim to please. They greet you right away and offer you a drink when you get seated.

I just got my nails done today and I’ve never been to this shop to get my nails done before but with having a few bad experiences at previous salons, I thought I’d give it a try and HOLY COW! Lisa was the lady that did my nails and this is the first time I’ve felt heard and taken care of while getting my nails done. I showed her what I was wanting and she did it exactly how I wanted it done! Definitely going to go back to her from now on!

I got my nails done for my sisters wedding got them done on Monday, my sisters wedding was on Friday and by Wednesday they had already started to crack on the bottoms.

I stopped in with 2 family members for a spa/pedicure that we he had gift certificates for. Overall the experience was great, the ladies are very friendly and I'd love to give 5 stars. However upon checkout she stated we would have to pay $10 more and claimed it was because of inflation. The gift certificates were purchased specifically for the package we received. Had they not tried to haggle us for $10 extra dollars I'd give them 5 stars, as a business owner myself. I under that inflation happens but when a gift certificate is purchased, it's bought and paid for. A $50 gift card dosent lose value because of inflation, you still get to spend $50... Overall great experience.

Took over 2 hours to get a full set completed. Paid 70$ and my nails are chipped, and I definitely was overcharged. Will not return. Do not recommend
