The staff need to be taught and trained on how important customer service is, and also on how making coffee correctly. Our pastry was cold when asked to warm up, and the coffee’s were cappuccino weren’t froffy. Staff were quite rude, experience wasn’t great. I think the staff need better training…

They will serve you fast if they like your skin colour. even manager will say what can I do

Me and my friend really enjoyed ourselves at this Costa that overlooks The Trafford Centre, with no screen at the counter like some and helpful, friendly staff! I had a delicious white hot chocolate, sitting comfortably at a clean table.

Something has changed! That something is staff who are clearly stressed out and kind of depressed and moody! I mean, I get it, there's so many customers passing by wanting s quick drink, that as a barista, you will overheat and get tired as the day goes by. But the misery on their face was just off-putting! Girl that asked for what we'll be having was not rude, but was so sad looking that my little daughter asked me if she's unwell! Person getting things ready had an attitude which is not needed i.e. rolling her eyes, throwing her head left and right whilst raising her hand, and then telling me how I need to ask her instead of taking a tissue was just immature and unnecessary. But it's not the fact that she said that, it's how she said! I'm not sure why they take this job if they know how demanding it might get when peak hours?! Also, cutlery was dirty, tables & chairs messy, trays not collected on surrounding tables for the whole duration we sat there (40+ minutes)! Not worth the hassle for the next time, rather visiting a nice café somewhere else inside Trafford Centre. Used to been great! Current staff inexperienced in how to speak and behave around customers!

Wanted a coffee and cake I got what I wanted fine but my wife couldn’t get a gluten free cake, this is normal but annoying anyway.

Good friendly service with good quality coffee and cakes and biscuits. Has variety of payment methods including Android and Apple pay. I prefer the coffee at Costa and feel better taste than other establishments. Downside was that tables do not get cleared in timely fashion

The sicilian lemon muffin omg delightful so fresh and just yummy! The staff smiling and nice, the buttery chocolate biscuits were also just devine so many choices on drinks a nice all round treat.

We took black forest hot chocolate and cream. The hot drink was flavorsome. It wasn't that pricey and the overall vibe of the cafe was sporty, warm, and vibrant. 💯

Worst service. Staff so bland, don't seem to understand how to smile or speak to customers. Staff need more customer service training.

Really slow service and loyalty points machine now been broken for 3 weeks so can't earn reward points! In an update it's still not working now in 4th week, you're told that any Costa can add the points for you from your receipt but this is not true I've tried - other Costas say they cannot manually add points earned in an Odeon Costa!

Very poor customer service at Manchester Trafford , the one on Odeon cinema. The lady at the till is not friendly at all. By mistake we scanned the card to the donation and just wanted her to give a feedback to the company that it is not the right place for the donation machine with verisign logo to be placed close to the actual pay machine. She was defensive and body language was rude.

Great coffee

A bit nasty but then again it's in the Trafford Centre so fits in well. Indifferent service on this occasion and not particularly nice coffee either. TopGun Maverick on the Dolby screen, Odeon on the other hand was fantastic - a definite second viewing needed.

We wandered in for a coffee before a late night movie, the Costa team, despite just starting to clear up on what's probably been a very busy Saturday didn't hesitate to make us feel welcome, in particular the gentleman who served us. Top marks for the whole team!

Nice staff and venue for Costa, the Americano lovely as always and yes they have almond milk, place was busy but staff had it in control.

Staff's are rude. My cappuccino were too strong and i requested for extra milk which was totally ignored by saying 3 shot for medium cappuccino is normally a bit strong. I always have costa compare my local brach this one was completely different.

Coffee good as always but new barista very slow .... good job it wasn't busy. Went back later and drinks took even longer. More than half the frappes advertised were unavailable, then the mint choc chip u got was so strong with mint, it was disgusting and undrinkable. This Costa used to be good but poor staff and stock today

Went in to the costa with my husband and the lady that served was quite standoffish and very rude rolling her eyes at me for no reason. I had downloaded the costa app and there was a screen showing 3 pound off and the costa worker kept saying there should be a barcode and you need to press a button and just speaking in a very patronising tone. Never had an experience like this with costa before only when I visited this branch.

Appreciated the social distancing enforcement on the day we visited. Regular cleaning of tables and equipment and of course the same, great coffee!

Staff seemed very miserable. The guy serving literally didn't even look up once when serving customers. I ordered a gingerbread latte but ended up with barely any gingerbread syrup and literally no froth on them. Very disappointed as costa is usually good

Great place but queues can get very busy

Visited for light lunch (tasty toastie) and an Irish Velvet latte without cream. Really enjoyed both.

If you want to queue forever despite observing a huge number of staff behind the counter and then be served drinks that have been made correctly and sit at a table that hasn't been cleaned in hours (if not days) then this is the place for you.

Not a great experience at all! I appreciate everything takes longer at the moment but half and hour for a takeaway coffee is long, especially as I was second in the queue. Felt so sorry for the staff - only 2 people in and clearly struggling.

Lovely place to visit

The hours work on "quota " apparently I've turned up once again when opening hours say open and they're once again closed! It's like the 7th Saturday now and they've done it mid week too, only wanted a babychino for my daughter, she loves them so after we've watched a film she likes to get one to go 7th time she's been disappointed now so I asked why Google says they're open and yet again they're not and their response was "We've hit quota so we're closed" If they're going to do stuff like this they should update their closing times regularly because this is the latest time we've turned up aswell last time it was 6pm

Whenever I get drinks from here they always turn out bad. Got a mocha and all the powder was stuck at the bottom, mint choc chip frappes are like water. Wouldn’t recommend.

Just been now have been join queue about 5 min than one young lad has come and told us they have closed I said you served people before us and we just want take out coffe and we are on queue why? Just told me sorry and time is 20.40 why? Close your door than if you are not serving

Leaving a review only because every time I have gone past this costa I always want to grab a coffee either on my in the trafford centre or on the way out but the last handful of time I've tried to get something off the menu may it be food or a drink they always seem to be out of stock or something is broken or the staff can't be bothered regardless of the time of day I've nipped in.

Excellent service and well maintained. Is busy enough to be lively but not too much as always find space. Staff are very good too.

Long queues and very very slow staff. Cortardo's taste like hot milk. Strongly do not recommend.

Costa has good coffee. Is it better than other coffee cafes in the Trafford Centre? I think so.

Opened an hour late

That place shouldn't be open, staff are great but there's just way too many members of the public there at the moment and it's impossible to be socially distanced, felt like a covid breeding ground

Really disappointed with the services offered today. We came in to dirty tables and we had to remove the trays. Then when we asked them to clean the table the staff were incredibly snotty with us and gave a smart remark to us. Apart from that the product’s were prepared quickly. I wouldn’t recommend coming to here.

Service OK, coffee is good but is very difficult to get a seat in the shop and have to clear it yourself as ever seems to be three staff on duty. Has toilets as well which is great although the centre toilets are nicer.

Amazing Costa Store, the manageress is incredibly welcoming! Felt very safe with the Covid measures they have in place, the store was very clean, social distancing was in place and the drink was delicious. Thanks to Natasha and her amazing team!

Quick and efficient service.

Long queues, untidy cafe and filthy toilets. Coffee cup's only half full and lukewarm. Wouldn't rush back will try another cafe in The Lowry Outlet.
