My personal favourite kebab shop in the area. Can get busy, but there’s good reason for that! They grill the donner before serving it up makes it extra tasty. Good choice of freshly made salad and sauces.

So this is the first time trying this takeaway. My son asked me if I have been here before and I said no. I made my choice based on the reviews! The majority of the reviews were right! The service was excellent, the food was hot and it was delicious 😋 Highly recommended The price was reasonable for what we ordered. Definitely getting our Friday night takeout from PANICOS!

My picture does not do the kebab any justice as I hurrying to tuck in. I will not eat doner meat from anywhere else which is difficult when you live 160miles away. I have mine "old school" with burger relish instead of chilli and yoghurt. Started having it like that when I was pregnant with my now 32yr old daughter. It was amazing then and still amazing now. And the guy who has always worked there is adorable !

I ordered a mixed kebab meal and some lamb chops from here last week and by the far the most delicious food I’ve had in Manchester. I came across this little gem after hearing it about it through friends and work colleagues. I would definitely recommend to others and I’ll be ordering again in the future

Really excellent food. Lamb chops and grilled veg amazing. My go to kabab and grilled meat place. Most meats cooked from scratch, except gyro lamb and chicken. Only reason I gave 4 stars is that they serve some of their food in polystyrene when there are plenty of card alternatives.

As kebab takeaways go, Panicos are one of the nicer ones. Usually a small wait for collection which is a testament to the quality of the food.

My friend kept telling me about this place so I finally drove there and ordered a special mixed kebab, wow! Best kebab I've ever had without a doubt. Definitely not your standard takeaway.

Very disappointed with our takeaway last night . I had lamb kofta which was pink in places & chewy absolutely awful just didn't taste right & my hubby had a Donner kebab but without going into too much detail he has been poorly since early hours of this morning & all day today not even able to keep water down. We were regulars here & never had any problems up until last night but it's totally put us off now so I'm sure Turkish Delight will welcome our custom !!!!

I just had a very strange experience with Panicos which I feel duty bound to share with the community! So late last night I called in my order for collection - a falafel kebab in a nan bread and a drink. On arrival it was ready for me and I paid the requested £7.90. I got it home but found my order to be just a salad filled pita bread - no nan bread and no falafel! I was too hungry to bother with calling in or taking it back. Anyway that yearning for falefel never went away and so this evening I ordered the same thing from the same place but this time I did so whilst in the restaurant so I could watch them prepare it. The same guy was there and I again paid the £7.90 but this time I got what I ordered - the nan bread and the falafel - and it was very tasty with good friendly service thrown in on top. Many years ago I worked in catering and know honest mistakes can happen, so I am happy to recommend this place (based on today's experience) but I would definitely be wary of calling in takeaway orders for collection from them - best to be there in person to make sure you get what you are paying for!

This place is up there with the top kebab houses, it's annoying that they don't do delivery but that's a testament to the quality that people come from far to collect. Each variation is fantastic but my favourite is the mixed donner with chicken shawarma. The flavour on both meats is phenomenal the chicken shawarma is tasty without any sauce also as its so we'll prepared. Salad selection is above others in the area and the garlic yoghurt is one of the best around. Kofte is another which I'd highly recommend. If eating straight away get it to eat now as they wrap it into one burrito of meaty goodness. The naan is not a naan but a prepacked tortilla yet it somehow works with the combination. Price point is pretty average for a kebab these days £8-12 depending on number of meats for large and I'm always stuffed after. Honourable mention to the donner meat pizza and the cheeseburger with donner. Basically if its got donner on you are going to enjoy it. The sujuk, (beef sausage) is the proper stuff and grilled is a great addition to any meal although expensive given the cost of the meat when you buy it yourself in Rusholme. All in all its a top notch kebab house, only this and Turkish delight are worth visiting in chorlton the rest are imposters.

Really good spot here. Chips are killer try them. Pizza is exactly how you would think it is and I love it. Kebabs with all super fresh ingredients. Don't sleep on this place.

Best kebabs in Manchester I travel from cheadle hulme to eat their kebabs I would highly recommend Panicos staff are friendly portions are big & if you order over a certain amount you get a free garlic bread with cheese

Enjoyable take away chicken sharwarma. As good as all the enthusiastic recomendations. But what is is with the fluffy soft bread pittas these days??? I pick pitta because I want very thin bread. If somebody wants fluffy - get white warburtons toasting bread or a nan.

The best doner in all of Manchester. Wonderful, homely atmosphere. Would certainly visit again. Update: As always, the best in Manchester - absolutely living up to the standards set. Brilliant stuff!

Ate here 4 times. Had to take back once due to raw chicken had again was nice then got last night and donner meat was dried and burnt. Won’t be using again that’s a 50% record of inedible

Hands down THE best kebabs in Gtr Manchester. I am a long standing customer and have moved out of the area, but still travel to pick up as the food is amazing, fresh & delicious. The service is friendly and perfect. These guys deserve a shout out :)

The girl with too much makeup on is rude and needs costumer service skills. Waited over 20 minutes for donner and chips when the donner and chips is ready because they go by number. How is it logical for someone to wait for others food to be cooked on a grill before getting theirs that Is ready?! When I pointed out this illogical methodThe girl decided to have an attitude. So I got my money back and went to TURKISH DELIGHT across the road. Better service and what I tasted thr food is great.

Foods ok but over priced but it's CHORLTON. Watch your change as they will over charge you if they think they can get away with it. When called out no apologies.

Ordered a donner kebab for £8 on Nan. Keep in mind "posh" donner kebab from Doner Haus / German Donner company is £7.50-£9. It has been advertised as "home made Donner". This is not home made at all. This is the generic "high quality" Donner you buy from basic cash and carries. The person working behind the counter has zero customer service skills. He took old Donner kebab that is incredibly thin and threw it on the grill. Old Donner kebab has already had its moisture, and fat drained so it's very dry as it is. Throwing it on the grill will make the Donner very similar to beef jerky. He refused card payment as he most likely does not want to pay tax. I would advise not to spend money here and possibly stick to generic kebabs houses as this is stealing from consumers. Terrible food. Terrible service. 1.5 out 10

Very pricy gone all chorlton and added the notorious and unwelcome Chorlton added tax. No longer a reasonable priced takeaway. Sad because after nearly 29 years it is not my kebab house of choice anymore

Family owned restaurant with very delicious freshly cooked meals. Owner puts a lot of effort into each order and you can tell that by the taste of the food. Tastes like home made delicious meal. The price is amazing for the quality and quantity of food. Highly recommended. Love it!
