So we were here at Vedaa and this place just takes me by surprise. It may look like your average neighborhood Indian joint, but Vedaa is anything but! We first had some Masala Chai(Tea) and its aroma was so captivating that we instantly felt refreshed. The Aaloo Tikki Chaat tastes so delicious and very authentic the thick crusty tikki floating in the mix of chutneys and chilled yogurt makes it perfect. A mix of savoury and sweet taste comes from their Paneer Chillie starter. For main course we ordered Chef’s Special Paneer Makhani, Malabar Paratha and Steamed Rice. The gravy of Paneer Makhani was creamy, rich with a tinge of tangy tomato flavour to it served with soft paneer cubes. Finally for dessert we had Mango Lassi which was like perfect end to a wholesome meal. By the end of the meal we were already planning our next visit The ambience, the warmth, the hospitality and the food all sum up to a great experience we had at Vedaa Perfect place for group lunch/dinners and casual dates 🙂 Food - 4.5/5 tastes authentic and yummy Portion size - 5/5 Ambiance - 5/5 loved the Old Hindi Music playlist Hospitality - 5/5 they are so warm and welcoming. Chef Radhe seemed to be very nice and warm person and treated us well.

Our first and certainly it won't be our last visit to this new restaurant was such great experience. The quality of all the dishes was excellent. Flavours "individual" & mouth-watering from starters to mains. All the dishes were without doubt, cooked with a passion. The staff were all really friendly and hospitable. Thanks for a lovely meal Chef and we all look forward to seeing you again soon.

New Indian food outlet on Cheadle High St opposite the James Watts. ( Opened Jan 2023). Good combination of street food plus some curries. Cobra in large bottles. Had poppadums and chutneys followed by chilli chicken and Palak Patta Chaat. Then the special Chicken Chettinad with Peshwari Nan and Chana Massala served with Malabar Paratha. We enjoyed it all. Will be back.

Brilliant Indian restaurant, the complimentary Gobi and the pani puri were very tasty. Chilli chicken was spot on and the chicken ruby curry was different to the norm but was excellent. Chole Frankie was refreshing and again had great flavours. It’s a nice friendly environment that I’d recommend anyone try.

This is a really special spot, the flavours of each dish is bold and unique. Certainly another level as compared to a typical Indian restaurant. The staff are lovely too, very attentive and friendly. Prices are very reasonable (at least compared to the south east!)

Wow just wow!!!! Just amazing beautiful food. I was shocked with the food it was absolutely gorgeous. I’ve eaten in many good Indian restaurants, but this one was something different and special it was not a usual curries house. It’s something different and delicious. I’d strongly recommend to try here beautiful food

Amazing for breakfast, brunch and lunch! All homemade with a middle-Eastern touch, but something for everyone. Turkish eggs and Shakshuka are particular favourites. Coffee is great (much nicer than Costa) and staff lovely.

This is a really excellent curry house, we have been a few times now & visited with family. The food very consistent & delicious. For me it is the care taken & the interest of the chef ensuring the prepared food has been enjoyed. Beer is limited to bottles cobra etc & wine choice quite limited. I highly recommend a visit you will not be disappointed with the food I'm sure.

Incredible food and perfect staff! Vedaa has been founded by the first employee at Dishoom who has also worked at the Michelin restaurants in London. The standard of food is clearly at the same level but with more creativity. Everything we tried was full of flavour and love for food. We started with the Chaat and Onion Bhaji which we expected to be like any other Indian but they were served beautifully with delicious sauces. For the mains we got the Ruby Chicken and Chicken Chettinad with Pashwari Naan as well as Butter Garlic. It was all 10/10 and one of the nicest Indians we have ever had!

Super cosy, super friendly, super tasty, reasonably priced, fabulous presentation of food & drinks. Warm & welcoming, great atmosphere, free WiFi, on trend, fabulous menu, unique. A MUST TRY, I can't recommend this place highly enough. I will most definitely be visiting again for breakfast, brunch, dinner or simply for coffee & cake with friends/family or on my own. What a delightful place, so glad it's in Cheadle. My new chill place

This is potentially the best Indian restaurant in Manchester, but not yet. All their starters are excellent. Their lamb chops among the best I have ever tried. Their spinach, without doubt the best known to me.Where they can improve is in their lentils, and the lamb served in the main dishes which was mostly hard. The quality of the ingredients was very good.

I don't normally give 5 stars ✨ there is always something that will knock the 5 ✨. However welcome to Cheadle's top restaurant. Top meaning the most tastiest food so far in Cheadle. For that matter probably expanding in all directions too. If you have ever visited Dishoom, you will find similarities in taste and presentation of the food. Not surprising as the chef comes from Dishoom. Food is superb, well presented, good portion size but above all, flavours are a perfect. Vedaa will be one of my favourite high rated places to bring friends and family. I guess in time it will be difficult to get in without a booking. We walked in but it was a Wednesday at 6:00pm by the time we left it was getting busy. The restaurant itself is not pretentious, rather a simple layout with paper serviettes and nice heavy plates. Not to mention the beautiful Sri Ganesha on the wall. So thank you Vedaa for choosing Cheadle and trust you will have all the success in this great tasting experience.

The food is fabulous here with dishes not usually found in Indian restaurants. The two main chefs are masters of their craft and have a good pedigree. Well recommended.

Popped in for a very nice Coffee with a light ShakShuka Breakfast. Only gripe was I really fancied the Sunrise Bowl, but it is made with full fat Greek Yogurt & I’m watching my Cholesterol :/

The food was excellent and it shows that the cook really enjoys cooking. The staff is friendly and the prices are ok. Just a small thing, the music played was too heavy and did not match this nice and relaxing café. I would suggest to have played some jazz ir soft music instead. But overall us a great place, highly recommended.

Really nice vegetarian cafe at the end of Cheadle High Street. I had eggs with spinach and hollandaise sauce and a chai latte, both of which were excellent. Lots of great veggie and vegan options, and good lunch deals.

I went with my daughter for the first time to have some lunch. I found the interior absolutely beautiful. I loved the feel and look of the menu. We ordered paninis and chips with milkshake. Milkshake was probably best I have ever tasted. Food portion was just right, however I felt that the price for one panini which was cut in half was a bit too over priced. I will be back again, nevertheless and enjoyed my food and coffee. Stuff was beyond friendly and helpful.

I visited Vedaa restaurant with friend recommendation and had the pleasure of trying their chicken chettinad with naan, and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant had a welcoming and elegant atmosphere, with tasteful decor and attentive service. The chicken chettinad was a standout dishThe naan was freshly baked and served warm, with a slight chewiness and a crispy exterior that perfectly complemented the chicken chettinad. We also tried the paneer tikka, which was another standout dish. The paneer was perfectly grilled and had a smoky flavor that was complemented by the delicate spices. The dish was served with a side of mint chutney that added a refreshing burst of flavor. Overall, our experience at Vedaa was outstanding. The food was expertly prepared and full of flavor, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting and elegant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable Indian dining experience.
