Tavern on the Green launched a new menu on Wednesday night - Polish dishes. We tried the pork steaks, chicken, and pork stew dishes (between the three of us). All absolutely delicious!!The pork stew was definitely the highlight. The sauce was just absolutely divine. I do wish all dishes had had that sauce! But they were all good regardless. Really enjoyed. The mash, slaw and salad were all full of flavour and super yummy. We all loved the sides. Fabulous staff too. Huge thanks to a great dinner!

Good pub with a brilliant atmosphere and lovely staff who are friendly and overall a brilliant place to go to if you want a pint or just a drink. Spoke to a brilliant boy behind the counter but I think the pub should be opened a bit longer

Absolute joke tried to order three lemonades and the bar staff refused to serve us. Just popped in to see the the open mic night. Will never recommend or try again. Incredibly rude service. Interesting and inaccurate response. Look forward to your none generic response. As this was not my order and I was very polite considering I was completely ignored at the bar.

Really nice bar. They sell pie minister pies here so always good food available. Couple of vegan options available which is nice. Parking in the ncp about 1 minute through the square opposite frankie and bennies. Been here a couple of times and will come back again. Their website always has offers on too. Can get very busy at weekends as they show the football so if you want to eat on a match day call and book a table.

Had an amazing night with friends and Craig and his team who have recently taken over the pub will get this pub back to the days of the old faulkners for those who remember. Really good night and great chatting to Craig who certainly has my backing and would really recommend anyone going out in altrincham to visit. Will be back very soon. Great pub, not food orientated , down to earth people !

Wow what a find, stunning homemade food, great staff can't do enough to make sure your visit is worth while, And you get to chose to decide how much the meal is worth, Would definitely highly recommend to pay a visit

Great venue for the football, wide variety of bar snacks. Whether it be the football, DJ Les on a Saturday or Live music on a Sunday with Jordan. There is something for everyone and all the family. Drink prices have also been kept low to help people with the cost of living. £3.70 for a pint in the centre of Altrincham You cannot beat it! Friendly staff, just make sure you bring your ID for challenge 25.

Never been in this pub before but I really liked it, we were able to get a table ok and it had a really good feeling about the place. Didn't have to wait long at the bar, lots of choice regarding drinks of favourite tipples, no idea about the beer though, sorry. When in the area again I would definitely call in for a tipple

This is one of my favourite places in Altrincham. The staff are brilliant, always friendly and considerate. Sunday nights are open mic night, always a great night! Come down and support this lovely place whenever you can.

Great staff, unfortunately, no real ale and despite Man UTD winning their match, the commentary was far too loud.

Visited on a busy Saturday evening. Obviously a bit of a sports bar as TV showing football at eardrum-melting volume. A lot of well refreshed customers who were quite raucous. Moved on after a couple of drinks.
