Almost always a good experience. Every now again it can take a while to get drinks ordered through the Greene King app. But sometimes they can be busy. Food is always good. Great steak and found out tonight the curry is also nice. Good choice of drink. I tend to have a coke normally but now and again will get a pint depending if I'm driving or not. Will be returning many times I'm sure.

First time here came for a birthday meal with my husband. We were greeted by a friendly lady who seated us. You can either order via the bar or online at the table via an app. Ordered Woo Woos and Fruit Ciders with our food. Cheese pie, chips with beans and Smoked bacon/cheese burger, chips and coleslaw. Lovely and hot and with polite staff all round. Ordered a sharer sundae which was amazing for dessert with a large slice of fudge cake. Definitely recommend it if you are a fan of pub food in a family friendly atmosphere. Update: Added more food pics from more visits.

I donโ€™t know where to start, our whole group had a great experience. We got greeted at the door and shown to a table, we went to the bar to order and got served by the great Harvey. Very quick and efficient and very friendly!! We got our food and drinks and sat down and he even came over to see if everything was alright with our food which we all thought was lovely!! All the food was fab as was the service from him. He made us feel very welcome and weโ€™ll be back very soon because we all had such a great experience here with great service from him too. He also showed us the keyrings on sale for Macmillan explaining they were made by the assistant manager which we thought was a lovely touch so we had to get one to support the charity too!

Yummy, Feels like home as for the 5th time in here! Very good customer service. Food was hot and served quick. If you are hungry that's the spot because portions are massive! Clean toilets and tables all the time.

When we arrived it was fairly quiet we placed our order at 14:47 we didn't leave until 17:20 the service was incredibly slow there was only 3 of us 2 golden years and my starter and main so altogether it was 2 starters 3 mains and 1 desert it was 20 past 3 before we got our soups. No one came to check on us so after we finished the soups it was another 20 minutes before the plates got cleared so was 4pm then the mains didn't come out for another 20 minutes we finished our mains at 16:40 asked for the desert from the golden years menu and didn't get it until 17:10 after reminding the waiter after 20 minutes so in all 30 minutes for an apple crumble with ice-cream. The food was nice but the service was incredibly slow 2 and a half hours altogether for food

All we can say is WOW!! Thank you to Dan, Wes and Chelsea for the super delicious food, the fabulous service and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The only complaint was the toilet paper dispenser in the ladies toilet needs to have instructions ๐Ÿ™ˆ It is impossible to grip the tiny piece of paper sticking out of the tiny hole. Coming from South Africa and having never seen such a contraption made it complicated but otherwise everything was superb!!!

Carvery was delicious. My parents took me. We like to go there because the prices are affordable as well as the quality of tasty fresh gammon , beef or turkey or pork. Gravy was delicious. Busy at 430 but staff very friendly and attentive. Free carparking. Seated on arrival choose food and drinks order and pay at bar. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend

Staff are fantastic! Shout out to Jerry and Peter. I work in a Additional Needs College. One student turning 18 wanted to celebrate at the pub with her friends from school. I called up and reserved a table. When we got there Jerry had reserved a small, quite section for the students which was perfect. All of my students needed assistance to order and pay for their food but Peter was fantastic. He was patient and made them all feel comfortable. Thank you again, for a wonderful lunch and we will be back!

Carvery was okay. Staff were lovely and very helpful. For drivers, access by the turn directly before (or after, depending on direction) on same side as McDonald's, just before (or after) the Trafford Centre. Cake-Away is huge and delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹

Easy to find tables and order. The staff were so lovely, made sure all was good... And the food!!!! I had all day breakfast, but beware... Its HUGE. Absolutely gorgeous though, and I tried my best. I didn't look at the menu, and ordered on the app, so was a bit shocked at how much was on the plate. Beautifully cooked, excellent value.

Our first visit after lockdown. Great to be back we were met at the door by a lovely young man called Marc who took us to a quiet table as we requested and explained how to order our food. The food was very good we had the signature fish and chips it was all cooked to perfection and was delivered quickly. There is a great selection of non alcoholic drinks so we had a few of those too ! Enjoyed it so much we went back the following night for a burger and although they didnโ€™t have our first choice we really enjoyed the Mexican burger that we had and probably wouldnโ€™t have tried otherwise. Will definitely be back again soon as all the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food is good too :-)

Really enjoyed our carvery - all meat and vegetables were fresh and hot. Turkey and beef were super tender. The carvery server was really friendly and there were plenty of family dining seats and highchairs available. I would say that the atmosphere in the family area is really dim lit and quite cold though.

It's a basic pub chain type meal but it was really nice, my scampi were nice and crisp and the chips were really nice. My wife and daughter had the carvery which is my idea of hell but it looked really nice.

The environment was cosy and friendly for everyone. The music was in a great volume and the staff was helpful. The food was amazing. The only down side is that I paid on the app an was not informed that for the Carvery we needed to present the receipt or ticket I think the app should say something. apart from that all the rest was ok.

So we came in on a Thursday evening. Not too busy. Not too quiet. Ordered via the app and went to bar after 20 minutes as drinks hadn't come. Lady at bar said they'll look into it. 15 more minutes I go back and another lady said the receipt was left on the side and just ignored... Great... The lady then made our drinks (2 large coke zeros) and I said no ice please (and on the order) she then looked at me, scowled and got rid of the ice before proceeding. I took the drinks back to the table and we went to get our carverys. Guy behind the food bit was sound but I didn't get the extra pig in blanket or Yorkshire pudding I had paid extra for... Oh well... Meat was nice, veg was nice, roasties were soft and tastes funny and there were no sauces left. I get that, it was busy and no one probably noticed but still... I work in the industry myself and understand and sympathise but it wasn't acceptable... Would like to hear back from Greene King but that probably won't happen so good luck if you're reading this and I hope you don't wait 40 mins :)

My meal was potato pie. The potatoes were not fully cooked. The gravy was over-salted. The menu we chose meant they only offered vanilla and chocolate ice-cream instead of their wider selection ices. I paid extra to get the special ice-cream, and found ice crystals in it. Totally disappointed to be honest.

I like coming to this restaurant as it serves a great carvery. Service is good, helpful and polite. The toilets are kept clean. The food is good quality, cakes are extraordinary big and delicious. Indoors, there is a play area for children. Recommended for day out with a family.

I work in trafford park and heard this place do takeaway breakfasts as well as all you can eat sit in. I have been twice now and both times been very impressed with the service. For ยฃ6.99 You get a tray to help yourself to the breakfast carvery which is all you would expect to compile your favourite full english. There is offer of a drink too for extra ยฃ1 but have not yet tried it as we have brew making facilities at work. If you are looking for a full english in trafford park, sit in or take away then you cant really go wrong. Friendly staff, very nice tasting and quality, warm fresh food. Thank you all

This place is fantastic. It is our go to for a quick family dinner or a meal out. Carvery is not really my thing, or so I thought, I eat it every time I come here and I love it. The staff are lovely, we have never had a bad experience with them, my kids enjoy talking with the lad who does tricks with the trays, I talk to a fellow Games Workshop hobbyist who works there and Kay, whom I met tonight for the first time, couldn't do enough for us and had a smile every time she saw us. She even stopped by to wish us goodnight as we left. Customer service is a thing most places have only heard about but that's one thing we always get here. The kids area is decent and the facilities whilst small, are always clean. Minus one atmosphere star for the horrible ambient music, other than that; fantastic place.

The best thing about the place is the staff. I went on a Sunday at 7 and they pretty much ran out of carvery food. No mash. No pork. No gammon. No parsnips. No bacon on the pigs in blanket. Waiting for gravy. Waiting for cranberry sauce. Definitely go during peak times as you're left with scraps otherwise.

This particular venue of Farm Houses Inn is quite similar to their other branches, without any standout features that differentiate it. However, one notable advantage is that Sunday mornings tend to be quieter compared to other days, mainly because the Trafford Centre opens later. If you're seeking a peaceful and relaxed breakfast experience and don't mind driving there, this place could be a good choice. While it may not offer any exceptional qualities, the overall quality and service at this Farm Houses Inn venue are still reliable. The menu, ambiance, and overall dining experience align with what you would expect from the chain. It provides a comfortable and familiar setting to enjoy a meal. If you're in search of a no-frills breakfast or brunch and value a quieter atmosphere, especially on Sunday mornings, this venue can provide a satisfying experience. While it may not be a destination that stands out from other branches, it still delivers the reliable Farm Houses Inn experience

We have visited Coppice Wood on many occasions. Tonight the food was poor to say the least. They brought the starter and asked if we wanted the main course as it was ready? I Ordered fish and chips. The batter was burnt. Nobody came to the table to ask if everything was okay and it was a quiet night! Wonโ€™t be rushing back as I believe the customer service and food has for some reason deteriorated.

Staff were friendly and efficient despite the busy day they were having. Queues at the bar moved fairly quickly. Carvery was hot and plentiful however there was a few minutes wait at times (notably about 5 minutes for fresh gravy). Would have awarded 5 stars however the table had not been set with cutlery/napkins.

Went there yesterday and roast was a little cold, but today the steak was 10/10. Friendly staff, and their cakes are amazing! Huge portions and cheap!

The best carvery from a farmhouse inn. Greater choice of veg than any other. Good value. Could do with more bar staff as the wait to be served is always lengthy. The staff are lovely.

Not my sort of Pub! But a friend wanted to meet there soโ€ฆ there we were!!! Staff was ok, could do with some training as I asked for an Irish coffee and they said they donโ€™t do it but can put some flavouring ๐Ÿ˜… not sure they understood what I meantโ€ฆ me explaining only aggravated them soโ€ฆ just has a Coke instead! Had the Eaton messโ€ฆ not great! Sorry to say! I was gutted as my favourite dessert! Very loud kids, everywhere, running a bit 2 wild, could do with staff politely directing the children to their respective parents ๐Ÿ˜… made it hard to have a conversation without shouting! Itโ€™s a family orientated Pub so will not deduct a start for that! Just a bit too loud! The carvery was good hence the ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

Smashing experience here today, came from the event at the Bowlers and the legend Harvey took right good care of us! What a geezer, hooked us all up with some smashing drinksโ€ฆ even some cheeky cocktails. What a ledge! 5* service from this guy every time we come in, wouldnโ€™t want to be served by anyone else!

We visited the Coppice Wood Farm on Thursday 30/9/21 for breakfast. From entering the restaurant, to being served our food was a lovely, enjoyable experience. Daniel and Nicola were great. The way they looked after us, informing us of their new menu with enthusiasm, well done guys ๐Ÿ‘ thanks for making our visit really pleasant, weโ€™ll be seeing you soon.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was to much trouble. They made you feel you were regulars, even though this was our 1st time, but it won't be the last.

This was my first visit and it is Awesome. Staff are phenomenal and amicable and they checked the social removing strategy to an expert level. The food is splendid no bad things to say. Inside the Coppice wood ranch the inside is exquisite an incredible spot for tourists, locals for a phenomenal amicable safe climate. This will be a normal scene for myself and my loved ones. Look at the deserts OMG...

Firstly was greeted by the lovely, friendly manager who was so polite and made us feel very welcome. I have ordered Christmas dinners for 4 people to take away from there. Fresh, tasty food, good selection of veg also you get to choose piece of cake which is massive! Everything were delicious and the portions were big enough to have them for 2 days. I would definitely recommend this place anytime & will be doing the same next year. Thank you so much!

Just got back from our traditional family boxing day carvery at Coppice Wood Farm and must say, each year it continues to deliver! The staff are professional yet so friendly. Each and every member of staff I spoke to made it feel like I talking to an old friend, from the guys on the door, the chef, the lovely lads behind the bar and the young girl serving and clearing the tables, the staff were outstanding. The food was lovely! The drinks were served quickly and cake away ..... well .... its cake away......!!! Thank you to all working this afternoon!

Absolutely lovely atmosphere here every time I visit. This evening after a very long shift I called in. The young man Ben was on the bar and served me. He had 10/10 customer service skills. He was very funny and a joy to see after my day at work. Cannot fault the staff to be honest never had bad service any time. Food is always fab too Well done team coppice wood for always putting a smile on my face

Really good value carvery, beef and gammon were excellent, turkey was a touch on the dry side but it didn't detract too much from the overall experience. Tables were clean and ready for new diners, no need to wait and the floor staff didn't seem overburdened or rushed. Bar staff had time for a quick friendly chat whilst pouring the drinks making the visit feel very warm and welcoming. Lots to keep the kids entertained too. Many carverys struggle to strike the balance between quality and quantity but this one is well worth a visit.

Table for 14 booked. Place was very busy when we arrived. Staff were very good, seated immediately, even asked if we wanted air con off as it was right above us. A little bit of debris left under table but not a big deal. Menu food took a little while to arrive, though we were made aware it might do. Great food, excellent service. All in, a good visit and would recommend.

I love a good Carvery, perfect on a day that you want to eat until you are stuffed. This branch was really good, nice atmosphere, efficient and polite staff, and the food was outstanding. The Brussels sprouts could be a bit more cooked, (they're always undercooked) but not enough to decrease a 5* rating. Recommend!

Very good food and lovely staff. Fish & chips, Pies, Ice cream. My family and I had a very good time. Family area. They even offered a small toy to our 9 months old baby. Not much, but very much appreciated. The world needs more of this. Very good and beyond.

We came to visit today with a group of people I support. The food on the carvery was delicious and hot. We were served very quick and the lady looking after our table, Kay, was extremely helpful, polite and made sure we were well looked after. Thank you Kay!
