We ate at this restaurant two nights in a row. We liked it from the first evening, chose the classic chicken tikka and vegetable samosa, and decided to go again but try something different. We left ourselves in the hands of the waiter who recognized us from the evening before. That was a really good choice. The food is really tasty and the flavors are amazing. One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been. The staff is very kind and friendly. Bad thing I am not living in Manchester otherwise I would go there at least once every week.

I recently dined at an Sangam restaurant, and I must say that I was quite disappointed with my experience. One of the major letdowns was the lack of authenticity in the food. As someone who appreciates the rich and diverse flavors of Indian cuisine, I was hoping to indulge in traditional dishes prepared with care and precision. However, the restaurant fell short in delivering an authentic experience, leaving me questioning the true essence of the dishes served. Additionally, I found the quantity of the food to be quite underwhelming. The portion sizes were notably small, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and wanting more. Considering the price point and the reputation of the restaurant, I had expected generous servings that would truly satiate my appetite. Unfortunately, I left the restaurant still feeling hungry and dissatisfied. Lastly, the taste of the dishes was quite underwhelming. Indian cuisine is renowned for its bold and vibrant flavors, but the flavors at this restaurant seemed muted and lacked the depth I was anticipating. The spices and seasoning were not well-balanced, resulting in a bland and unexciting dining experience. It was a missed opportunity to showcase the true essence and complexity of Indian flavors. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was far from satisfactory. The lack of authenticity in the food, insufficient quantity, and underwhelming taste left me feeling disappointed and questioning the restaurant's ability to deliver a true Indian culinary experience. I would hesitate to recommend this place to anyone seeking an authentic Indian and memorable dining experience.

Far to loud , people cramed in with a shoe horn . No intimate dinning in here , McDonald's is better for a romantic dinner . I heard the conversation of several people they were that close. The food is , what can I say a Tesco ready meal would be all I can describe the curry as . Very poor , the presentation was dredful , cutlery dull. Plates hot .but foot lukewarm. Over priced food the portions are small , the food was actually not even as good as ready meal from Tesco . Lack of flavour . The tikka masala was basically a bowl of sauce with a bit of dried chicken thrown in. Beer was expensive for cobra premium prices for a value brand of larger. The poppadoms were good but the sauces were watered down so much it was like dipping into dish water. Over all a very very poor place to dine , a shame really as it's very nice and clean inside. The lack of quality in the food really stands out. The idea rice is separate and doesn't come with the main course is just bizzare this is a premium eaterie serving Tesco ready meals at best but at top notch prices . Avoid

A really very good place for Indian food. All dished that we had were very good. The service was very friendly. If you are in the area of greater Manchester, it is definitely a place to go for good Indian food.

Amazing experience . This place doesn't do great food only but they also make sure the ambiance is extraordinary and service is brilliant. Food was beautiful with huge selection of drinks to choose from Had interacted with few staff and they had made sure the dinning experience converts into perfect memory. Two of staff members who I feel obligated to say thanks to were shawon and Amin ,they were really humble and caring and had made sure every of my small desire gets addressed to . Thanks Amin and shawon ,you have made me your life time customer . Would highly recommend

Went for a meal sat night, bhajis were nice very crispy and tasty, the main course came (jalali) and it was quite watery and the chicken was as well, It was supposed to be very spicy having four stars but it wasn’t at all. The decor was nice, but my abiding memory will be a member of staff clearing his throat of Bombay oysters whilst front of house. Paid a lot less at other places and the food was far tastier.

Came on a Sunday night so it was fairly quiet but it still had a lovely atmosphere. The waiting staff were really friendly. The food was amazing, loads of choice & came out piping hot. I had the sea bass which was the nicest I've ever tasted. Not the cheapest place but we were happy to pay it because of the quality of the food & excellent service. Would definitely recommend it.

Simply horrible service. Staff just couldn't care less. We had a drink spilled, an incorrect order and something that didn't arrive - zero apologies. Our order wasn't taken for ages, no follow up drink orders and nobody checked in during dinner. We had to track someone down and ask for everything, including a long wait for the bill! Food was lovely... When it arrived (at all).

Absolutely amazing!!!! Great food and service. We got in just has the restaurant was about to close. They very kindly offered to seat us and we are sure glad they did. The food was so good! Saip was our server and he took great care of us. We know that they all probably wanted to go home, but at no point did we feel rushed or unwelcomed. We will definitely be back.

Had a fantastic family meal with 20+ people. The staff were fantastic. Particularly Shahini. Nothing was too much trouble for him and we were very well looked after. The food was absolutely fantastic. It was also the birthday of one of the children in our party and Shahini was fantastic with him, giving him a special hat to wear and allowing us to have a cake that we’d brought. Would highly recommend

Great food and the staff were super attentive. There were a lot of options that I’d never seen before I tried one new one and it was delicious. The interior design was also beautiful. Thanks for the great evening.

Went for a late night dinner, the staff was not that great in terms of politeness and greeting. Very laid back. Probably tired of the days work. The food was not fresh. We ordered king prawns tikka which was quite cold. Was expecting something fresh and hot. I want to be as specific as possible. What we ordered and quantity we got : Chicken Tikka - 3 pieces of chicken. (2.5-3 inches) - £7.90 Papri Chat - 10 Pieces - £5.90 King Prawn Tikka - 3 pieces - £9.90 Kadai paneer - 6-7 pieces of Paneer ( 2 inches long and 0.5 inch wide) quite inconsistent. It was watery. - £10.90 Lal Mass - lamb curry, was quite OK compared to other dishes. Good quantity, about 10pieces. - 14.90 All the prices without taxes. I spent about £71.39 and overall experience is about 3.8/5

Great time at Sangam! Our party were stuck in traffic and the staff were very accommodating and moved our reservation back half an hour. The food was excellent and service was equally as good! Would highly recommend!

Always a decent curry and usually the cavernous place is full enough. I particularly like the fact that you can bring your own wine… which is a massive benefit - basically a £10 bottle of wine that would cost £40 off the menu, a reasonable £5 corkage fee - and the fact that the semi-reasonable 10% ‘optional’ service charge does not include the price of wine or beer. Well done.

Not as good as previous visits.our food was just spicy with no flavour and wasnt received well when we complained .will not go again apparently the new chef is to blame. But the waiter didn't seem to care. He offered us free coffee

Very large place and as we arrived so did maybe 100 more clients. And then more arrived after we did No joke, so I was optimistic but let me tell you, I been searching for 25 years since a old guy made me Karahi curry which was amazing but never have I found the quality until my visit here. All our party was overwelmed from flavours from our food. Lady I presume owner found time to visit all tables with a smile as was the case with us. The staff was all cheerful and 1 chap being a 27 year veteran was great with customers. We waited for food but not very long and was suprised how quick it came because the volume of folk We was not in a rush and had time to kill so overall our visit was fantastic. I being harsh with a 4* Well deserved 5*

Our family has been dining here and the city centre branch for years. The food is delicious, great value for money, and the service is exemplary. They cater well for large parties as well as small. There are tons of veggie options too. On our latest trip we were really well looked after by Shahin. Thanks for making us feel so at home in your beautifully designed restaurant.

We had a fantastic experience at Sangams for a 30th birthday, staff were friendly and made our family so welcome, top class entertainment and special thanks to TopCat TC for always going the extra mile with our service! We’ll continue to come back! Thank you Sangams!

Nice ambience. Service was quite good. We ordered a large variety of desi food: food was overall average (not good). Most desi dishes did not have that particular desi flavour, even for the medium spice level. Not worth the hype and rating noticed on trip advisor. (Apology for the honesty and no offence to anybody 🙂)

Nice resturant with parking and good customer service. I visited here years ago and invited a friend for an evening meal. However, the sweet wasn't to my expectation on this occasion.

Lovely food. We were in a party of around 15 people. Everything ran smoothly and organised. Staff were friendly, polite and very good at their jobs. Nice surroundings too. Only downside was that some of us felt a little cramped in being sat against the wall. Well done guys, keep up the good work. P. S Cobra lager was the nicest lager I've tasted.

I had heard from family that this place was the place to go for a curry. I came in with pretty high expectations. Those expectations were easily exceeded. The restaurant is beautiful decorated, the hello upon arrival and the smiling friendly service was fantastic. The food was of high quality and the price considering the quality of food is very reasonable. Our waiter Amin is a credit to the restaurant, 10/10 service. We will see you again soon.

Nice atmosphere, but my vegi food was not cooked at all. I called the main man on the floor. He tested it and agreed , took it away but never got a replacement! Paid £30 for nothing. I think any Indian Grandmother could do better!

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
