The tapioca pearls are of good consistency, however the tea is not of good standard. Me and/or friends has bought milk tea from here over 4 times with a range of flavours and it was consistantly disappointing and overly sweet. The most recent time we went, we ordered with 50% sugar, hoping to finally get a decent milk tea. We got back a drink more like water than tea or milk. When we went to complain we found out the powder was premixed which we weren't told of before ordering (it's customary in any other decent bubble tea store you'd find in Manchester to be able to adjust sugar, or at least tell the customer that less sugar = no flavour). Conclusively, if quality milk tea is what you're looking for, this is not the place.

Milk tea was too milky and sugar level could not be adjusted like all other places ive been to in manchester. also not a large variety of choices. there was no option of having a fresh milk. there was a very weak flavour of tea. there was also a lack of typical toppings such as herbal jelly or pudding jelly etc. I look forwards to the improvements which will hopefully be implemented in future.

So much good is to be said about the staff Amelia. She is a treasure and.absolute credit to Smooch. Very professional, friendly and kind. The way she cares for customers, I thought her parents own the shop. For smooch itself, excellent milk shakes, the quality is always consistent - 10/10. Well done! Keep it up!

Absolutely amazing service!!! Just went in, and the place is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately the till had shut down and they gave us a free bubble tea and ice cream!! Will definitely be back to leave a big tip for these people people, can't wait to try a watermelon bubble tea when the till is up and running. Very good price for the quality, we're loving the chocolate sauce especially. Very accomadating for our vegan friend too :) merry Christmas guys can't wait to see you again xx

Had the most amazing milkshake at Smooch, the white chocolate and raspberry, my partner got the lotus biscoff one and they were both incredible. The place looks amazing, there’s so much to choose from and the staff are really lovely. Can’t wait to come back already!!

Been to smooch numerous times and it’s such a nice atmosphere with gorgeous drinks! Started off with just an iced tea but now in love with them all. Recommend mango milk tea with tapioca the most :) Defo take a visit if you haven’t already it’s really worth it and feels so good to support small businesses especially after a difficult year :))) Great customer service too!

Loved the strawberry choco sundae, Oreo shake and also choco tapioca tea! Very good taste, friendly staff, quick and hygenoc service! Highly recommended!

Really LOVE the Iced Fruit Teas! Very refreshing. Everytime I go there I always get the Watermelon or Pineapple. I do suggest one thing. Ive tried searching everywhere to see how much sugar there is in the Fruit Teas, but sadly I cant find an answer anywhere. I would really love to know since there are people (such as myself) who need to stay below a certain sugar intake.

Best bubble tea place you’ll ever find in Altrincham. So many to choose from and delicious. Their shakes are super thick and so good and also the waffles are really good too.

I love that they have the Coconut Pandan bubble tea flavour. The preparation was yum. Will definitely come back for the Taro Ube, Lychee, and other bubble tea flavours.

Very professional and very friendly, all the staff are lovely and very soft spoken/warming. Best milkshake my lips have ever touched. Boba is phenomenal, have tried every flavour of boba and each one is made with love and care. A must try wherever you are and will not be disappointed, whether it is quiet are busy the standards are kept high. A need not a want!

Loved it! Super tasty! Great place to take the kids... or indulge yourself. So many options! I've tried the shakes and probably found a new fav. Next time, I'm trying Bubble tea. Exactly what Altrincham needed. I'm definitely coming back soon. Highly recommended 😋
