Von einer Arbeitskollegienmeine Frau wurde uns dieser Markthoch angepriesen. Allerdings waren wir schon ziemlich enttäuscht. Vielleicht waren wir ein wenig durch den Zusatz Schokoladenmuseum so geflasht das wir im Kopf Bilder aus dem Film "Charly und die Schokoladenfrabik" hatten. Die Typischen Selben Angebote wie Deko (meist aus Fernost) sowie einige Fressbuden und Glühweinstände wie auf allen Märkten. Obwohl es Samstag war konnte man sehr entspannt durchlaufen. Preise wie auf allen anderen Weihnachtsmärkten auch. Besonders viele Fotos haben wir nicht gemacht da es nicht viel gab und an einigen Ständen das Fotografieren verboten war. Im Zeitalter der Socialmedia ist das nicht mehr Zeitgemäß und man verbietet kostenlose Werbung für seinen Stand, naja Marketing 6 setzen! Einzige Highlight war das Riesenrad und das Museum, was aber im Gegensatz zum Markt sehr voll war. Wer in Köln ist kann sich ihn ansehen , aber sollte nicht zu viel erwarten. Pretty disappointed with my visit here. It wasn’t a particularly safe environment regarding the hoodlums who were hanging out. Limited food options. Barely any crafts at all.

This was a smaller Christmas market in Cologne. Not as many options and less of a crowd. We did find a few good stalls and with it being so close to the chocolate museum it was well worth the stop.

Lovely market and well worth the visit. Each market in Cologne seems to offer slightly different things which was really nice

A decent Christmas market by the Chocolate museum!

Not many places to eat, and the market is a bit on the smaller scale, but the naval theme is what maked it special. Plus the Ferris wheel gives you some nice views

It’s so difficult to access by car and the parking is really expensive 4€ h

Nice small Christmas market to visit especially if you’re in the hotels nearby. Small selection of markets but not a huge variety in comparison to the other markets nearby. I’d recommend the Christmas market near the cathedral more than this one as you would finish this one within 15 - 20 minutes.

Visited this ferry wheel as a part of chocolate museum ticket. Five round on this wheel it was something I didn’t expect… 360° view of Cologne city - the reason you can have this view is because there are not so much tall buildings in Cologne because of some city regulations which don’t allow to build anything taller than Cologne cathedral. Pay extra 4 euros and visit chocolate museum and ferry wheel.

The Market along the harbor and in front of the Lindt chocolate museum is a fun little market with a lot of offerings in the food department. In this market you will get more historic and authentic stands and not the cookie cutter stands that are in some of the larger markets like the cathedral. The shops here are more handmade and have the feel of not being just things that are available in so many other places.

This is actually my favourite Weihnachtsmarkt in Cologne, so elegant so fancy and beautiful. There's an enough amount of people.. it's not too crowded, you can shop and take photos and enjoy without so much noise and so much people.. it's quieter than the others , and it's on the Rhein exactly! The round wheel is an amazing and an absolute pleasure, it was a great experience! The food is so delicious the crepes the hot wine the fish and the potatoes, everything!

A bit less central than the other markets, and I’ll give them a break as the weather wasn’t very good the night I went…it wasn’t as lively as the other markets…but based on how packed some were, that may be an advantage. Beautiful riverside area.

One of the many Christmas markets in Cologne/Köln. Definitely stop at the chocolate museum as it is right next door.

Went to the wheel for a nice beautiful moment but ended up very stressed and anxious. The lady working the ticket booth is super sweet and nice but the male workers operating the wheel? Tragedy. As a young woman I felt incredibly uncomfortable with their rude stares and talking about me behind my back. Showing me a middle finger after acting like a creep? A beautiful scenery ended up being an uncomfortable experience.

Sehr schöner Weihnachtsmarkt. Besonders gut hat mir das kleine Café Glück, gleich gegenüber des Malakofturms gefallen. Der beste Kaffee weit und breit. Auch lecker; Crêpe und Waffeln, und der Flammlachs. Das kleine Cafe Glück findet man jetzt wohl ein paar hundert Meter weiter, am Deutschen Sport & Olympia Museum (Rheinseite) SEHR ZU EMPFEHLEN!

Der Hafen Weihnachtsmarkt ist ein sehr schöner Weihnachtsmarkt am alten Zollhafen bzw. beim Schokoladenmuseum. Sehr gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken jeglicher Art. Auch die Stände mit den angebotenen Waren machen einen hochwertigen Eindruck.

A very romantic and colourful Christmas 🎄 market around the Rhine river. It’s tiny but nice location. Not much options for food and drinks like other markets in the town. But a good place to grab a Glühwein and walk around the river.
