I
am
posting
this
on
my
husband's
account,
and
this
is
the
first
time
in
my
life
I
have
written
a
review,
due
to
my
blood
boiling
at
the
worst
dental
experience
I've
ever
had
-
and
considering
this
is
a
dental
clinic,
that
is
saying
something
indeed!
I
am
travelling
on
a
road
trip
through
Europe
with
my
husband
and
my
parents,
when
my
father
cracked
his
tooth.
Being
from
South
Korea
and
living
in
the
UK,
suddenly
needing
a
dental
clinic
in
Germany
was
rather
nerve-wracking.
The
information
centre
pointed
us
in
the
direction
of
the
Pan-Klinik
as
one
being
able
to
see
us
without
an
appointment.
The
nurses
and
reception
staff
were
friendly
and
helpful,
but
unfortunately
the
company
was
let
down
by
an
incredibly
rude,
female
dentist.
She
was
arrogant,
condescending,
and
her
tone
implied
she'd
rather
we
weren't
there.
She
asked
in
a
cold,
snappy
way,
"Why
did
you
come
here
only
for
a
check-up?"
We
don't
know
the
German
procedures,
and
booked
a
check-up,
since
not
being
dentists
ourselves,
we
didn't
know
the
severity
of
the
situation.
How
are
we
to
know
if
the
tooth
should
be
extracted?
Or
if
a
bridge
or
crown
is
required?
She
was
impatient
when
explaining,
and
considering
we
are
both
talking
in
a
second
language,
was
rather
out-of-place
when
she
snappily
(and
arrogantly)
asked
me,
"You
don't
understand,
do
you?"
No,
I
didn't,
since
your
explanation
was
lacking
clarity.
I
already
explained
that
my
father
couldn't
speak
English,
but
she
continued
to
direct
her
sentences
to
him,
ignoring
me
for
long
stretches.
When
I
tried
to
explain
that
we
didn't
know
the
procedures
of
Germany,
she
talked
over
me.
I
felt
emotionally
abused
by
an
arrogant
woman
acting
with
an
undeserved
elitist
attitude.
I
had
to
leave,
shaking
with
anger,
teary
eyed,
but
not
before
informing
a
nurse
what
had
happened.
The
nurse
was
kind
and
understanding,
and
was
a
credit
to
the
clinic.
My
husband
returned
with
coffee
and
was
told
what
happened.
We
decided
that
we
would
not
continue
treatment
here,
and
my
father
would
get
treated
back
in
South
Korea,
upon
his
return
in
seven
days.
My
husband
remained
inside
(I
had
to
wait
in
the
corridor
I
was
so
upset)
and
informed
the
receptionist
we
wanted
to
pay
for
the
check
up
and
go.
He
was
told
to
wait,
and
after
25
minutes,
asked
what
on
Earth
he
was
waiting
for.
We
just
wanted
to
give
them
money!
The
polite
receptionist
apologized
and
went
to
check,
coming
out
after
a
few
minutes,
saying
that
we
needed
to
wait,
since
the
dentist
wanted
to
speak
to
us.
We
waited
for
another
twenty
minutes
before
anyone
came
out.
After
two
hours
sitting
in
the
dentist
by
now
we
just
wanted
to
pay
and
go-
we
have
only
one
day
in
Cologne
and
were
wasting
the
better
part
of
it.
The
dentist
finally
came
out,
just
to
say
that
my
father
shouldn't
eat
asprin
if
he
was
to
have
his
tooth
extracted,
since
he
was
on
asprin
for
his
high
blood
pressure.
She
apologised
for
the
wait
and
was
temporarily
very
polite
(I
suspect
the
nurse
had
told
her
she'd
upset
me).
However,
after
my
husband
explained
we'd
not
be
doing
the
procedure
there,
her
face
and
tone
shifted,
and
he
says
she
became
immediately
more
aggressive
and
arrogant.
My
husband
had
to
exaggerate
a
reason
on
behalf
of
my
father
to
not
go
ahead
with
your
clinic.
The
money
was
completely
not
an
issue.
Eight-hundred
Euros?
Just
fine,
thanks.
However,
we
didn't
want
our
custom
going
to
you.
I
just
want
to
say,
before
you
try
to
become
a
better
dentist,
focus
on
being
a
better
person.
Show
some
compassion
and
understanding,
and
especially
learn
some
patience.
Some
bed-side
manners
are
needed.
Thank
you
to
the
dental
assistants
and
receptionists,
and
I'm
sorry
your
colleague
let
you
down.
If
anyone
read
this
to
the
end-
great
effort.
