We have already been to another location from 7th space (Langenfeld) and were thrilled. Since there was a new opening in Cologne, we of course wanted to try it out straight away, because as we all know, “new is always better ;)” and especially when it comes to technology, we were hoping for a big upgrade. Unfortunately, nothing really went according to plan. My wife had actually booked an escape room experience. However, we were not informed that this was “only” a box booking and that you then had to say again that you wanted an escape room. So we lost the first few minutes because we were thrown into the normal game menu - of course the timer was already running. And then we had to call another employee and wait until he came to us. So we lost the first 18 minutes without playing anything. Then after some back and forth and a little more waiting, an escape game was started and we were told that we would just get the time back. (However, it wasn't like that) After 41 minutes, the game simply ended in the middle and all we saw was a black screen. What a shame! - If you mention it yourself that the time will come, then please make sure that it worked? Even though the employees were all friendly (the friendliness earned the second star), they unfortunately seemed overwhelmed and not well trained. When our game was over early - we weren't even noticed because the two employees at the counter were deep in conversation. I had to explicitly mention again that I wanted my deposit for the locker key back and we weren't asked how we found it, what it was like, etc. 1 day after the opening, it's really the least you could expect, but There, too, compromises were made. Now we come to the technology: The music playing in the hall (on box 12, for example) is so loud that you can hear it loudly through the headset while you are communicating. The headsets interfere with each other... you can also hear the conversations from the boxes next door, so it's super difficult to play an escape game while you're listening to 4 people from the box next door shooting... also seems to be a known problem, so... People have been sent to another box. Glasses are fine - so are the controllers. The location is very pretty. Overall, however, it was a really bad experience and we won't be going to the location in Cologne again. Basically we threw away about €50 and didn't have any fun.

This place would promise a great time you can enjoy with friends and family!

I have to start this review with the very nice and competent employee (the one with the purple hair). She explained everything to us in detail and understandably. She was also very patient with us and was able to judge when we needed help. The shop has a very nice atmosphere and is well decorated. Even though it was our first time experiencing VR glasses and everything surrounding it, everything worked great and was just as much fun. Absolute recommendation.

Very nicely decorated! The VR games take place in boxes so that everyone has enough space for themselves and in terms of sound you can hear everything in the game clearly while it filters out the ambient noise. There are many different games, whether horror or minigames, and time flies when you play them (unfortunately). If you still have the time and feel like it, you can play a game of billiards or table tennis or simply watch others having a VR experience and have a drink drink hehe ;) A 7th Space in Hamburg is desired <3

War das erste Mal in so einem Laden. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und schnell empfangen, obwohl es voll war. Der stellvertretende Standortleiter hat uns super eingewiesen. Bei einem technischen Problem war er sofort zur Stelle und die verlorene Zeit wurde hinten dran gehangen. Super Laden, tolle Spiele und der junge Mann war sehr professionell.

Free Walk is a must! Such a nice experience, I wish they had more free walk games.

Second time here and once again, it was freaking awesome. This place is totally worth it, both the free roaming and the connected VRs. Mo there speaks perfect english and was fun to have him guide us through the games and give us a good experience.

Were there today. Booked at 2 p.m. Had to wait over 40 minutes. At 3:30 p.m. still no one came to play. Children were not introduced, play was chosen for them. Then one disaster after another. Server crashes, players are kicked out, hangs, etc. The end of the song was 5 disappointed 10 year olds! And a boss who, in my opinion, stayed out of it. We broke off and left. The only plus here is the two helpful, patient employees We tried everything we could, and one of them in particular was very accommodating and understanding. Some of our money was refunded.

The puzzles were so stupid, I also found the rooms uncomfortable because while you're playing everyone has a look at you, no partitions or anything, everyone can watch you as you play. In addition, we had actually booked 90 minutes and in the end we only played 50 minutes for the price for 90 minutes. The staff were nice, but the space needs a bit of rethinking.

Overall Nice Ambient… the Escape Games where very Nice and we really Enjoyed them. Both the Employes and the Location are super Chill and just a great place to hangaround…. Will visit again soon. Pretty Expensive, but with the Discount codes it was not that big of a Deal.
