This sauna is one of the best, if not THE best, fitted sauna in Europe. Although the Sauna Deutsche Eiche is of a high standard, the Babylon was designed and built from scratch and does not have the maze-like layout of the Munich establishment. It is a pity that some of the staff are not of such a high standard though! When visiting with a friend a few days ago, the reception when we arrived had much to be desired. Such an arrogant attitude from a person who is after all the equivalent of a ‘shop-assistant’ was totally unexpected. When leaving we were ‘served’ by a different person, whose attitude was equally unpleasant – I had forgotten my stick and had to go back and ask for no.38 key. I was snapped at that, as I was the last person to be served, my key MUST have been No.40. I returned to the locker to discover that my locker had been No.38 as I had remembered. On going back again I was informed rudely that he must have made a mistake. I eventually obtained my stick from Locker 38. This is no way to treat a paying customer. Fortunately, the other staff I encountered at Babylon couldn’t have been kinder or more pleasant. The management should take a look at these two employees as they are probably doing great harm. It only takes a couple of “unpleasant sad middle-aged queens” to ruin a business. I am afraid that their attitude colours my rating of the Babylon for which I would have happily given 5 stars!

I've gone to this sauna since 1987... I always considered it the most beautiful and special sauna in Europe. Unfortunately, my first trip there after Covid I was greeted with some unfortunate events. The worst being my 10-entry card was confiscated. They said "This was your last entry..." and while I had no proof of how many entries were on it (as it's an electronic system), it was arbitrarily taken away. The "screen" on the cash register didn't even show it was swiped. Furthermore, the "attitude" of the staff - which one could tolerate as a regular customer has now become unbearable. The extremely high price, and empty venue has really put the nails on their coffin. This place is not going to survive. And it's a shame, as it was truly an iconic homosexual establishment.

Very nice sauna with some amazing facilities. They have events/offers on different days so check before visiting. When I was there they were doing Finnish sauna sessions in the evening which were amazing.

A little disappointed that the only steam room was tiny and there was no place to sit in tide but only stand. Also there’s no real sauna? Other than that the swimming pool outside looked really nice. Must be a joy to be there when summer hits the region! 😍 Besides that the clientele on a Sunday from lunch until evening was not my type. Half we’re quite obese and coming from Amsterdam this was very noticeable.

Quite surprised by how clean and cozy this place is. Bathrooms always clean and with paper, cabins always with condoms and lube. Bar - restaurant area cozy, saunas smell clean even the humid one which usually smells fungy in other saunas.. heated shower area,.jacuzzi, lomg etc. Amazing. 5 stars!

Price is high but the place feels clean and welcoming. Just a bit unclear about swimwear policy, most guys were nude except a few. And be careful, the floor is quite slippery everywhere!

Overall, my experiences at the sauna were positive in terms of facilities and staff. However, I unfortunately contracted Chlamydia after my first visit and pubic lice after the second visit.

Very nice please it’s real like a spa. After the sauna or the hammam you can take a cold bath in the swimming pool. The rooms for entertainment are comfortable and equipped. The location is really at 10 minutes from the train station. But also not far from Rudolf Platz, the party centre of Cologne. It’s very clean very chilled and really have the possibility to have sunshine all afternoon in summer. The team is great professional and discreet.

This place, the atmosphere, the amenities, the people, and the ever lasting good vibes make the Babylon feel like a vacation resort no matter how long you stay there. I have met and connected with great people. The staff is friendly, approachable, social, and never turns down a good conversation (on top of that, they all look handsome in their own ways which makes this Sauna THE PLACE TO BE). Don’t take my word for, find out for yourself and give it a try. 🫵😄☀️

In terms of infrastructure, it is the best sauna I have been to. Although the steam room doesn’t have seats, the other spaces are well clean and brand new. The bar is excellent, and you can also have a meal if you fancy. The attendance was not so good when I visited, but I reckon that was because it had been past 8 pm on a Sunday.

We went 2 persons 18 March 2023 at 12:00 and at the entrance ask to pay 25€ per person.When we ask why because in internet says preis till 13:00 16€ the person pretend he was looking on a screen a few minutes and said ..yes you are right the press is 16€.This was not nice.

Facility was clean. Late at night I noticed only one employee but he worked very hard to staff the front, the bar, and any other areas. Met nice people here. Paid $11, which was a fair price.

Good sauna with nice facilities, big and clean. Almost all pool zone is closed at night from 23:30 untill 10:00. I visited Babylon at Saturday night. It was full and it's great, but it was no empty cabins... In the jacuzzi area they used some menthol product that irritate my eyes, so I couldn't stay there.

I was visiting this sauna for the first time on 6.09.23 and at the check out they asked me to pay a bill which I didn't take.very strange place. be careful guys.won't come back again.

The courtyard pool with table service felt like a resort upstairs and the downstairs dark labyrinth was full of exciting nooks and crannies, even in the wet sauna. Facilities and staff exceeded expectations

I had the most incredible and relaxing spa day at this resort for my birthday. A full day of superb food for lunch, wine, and relaxing by the pool with my husband. 100% I’d recommend this place to anyone. Similar to Palm Springs resorts, but with great food. Will be back the next time we’re in Köln.

Its a realy big sauna and the clean it realy well and good. Also the pool inside its perfect. When you go at night its only 10euro and they have good prices at the bar too. Friendly staf too. Now the corona they closed:-( I realy miss the sauna and i hope it can soon open again, cant wait any more.

Very fun visit and a wonderful atmosphere. I didn't have much interaction with the staff working, but they seemed very polite. It was very clean and had customers of all types. I would most definitely recommend.

Sauna for the elderly (+60 years). With the excuse of the Sexy Party they sell a party in the sauna in which the average age is 65 years. As I have learned later, once you go with the excuse of the sexy party, you don't come back. It is good that there are saunas for older people but they must specify it. The experience was lousy and the staff was also rude. I will never ever go back. No party associated with the sexy party is good and if they already cancel the sexy party like this Easter then imagine. Besides, they tell you that you have a welcome drink without specifying what so that you ask for what you want and then charge you when you leave. All wrong. I will never forget it, never again.

Went to the night sauna on 8/18/2023, I was surprised it wasn't that busy and the pool was closed. There was a group of black men who kind of dominated the hot tub making a lot of noise and pretending it was their hot tub felt uncomfortable. I also slipped ugly, floors are very slippery, so take off bath slippers, but that is not really hygienic, can't they use non-slip mats or something else about that? In itself I had a good time, nice staff, but I think it needs to get a little more life, was too quiet for me and little action, as a tourist I got the feeling that we know us, too bad.
