Incredible food and swift service for a private event serving a large group. Only issue was no air conditioning so on a hot day, it was uncomfortable to stay seated.

Excelent service, the people are very friendly and they speak English! You feel welcomed and they take good care of you! The three dishes plus dessert menu is an excellent choice! Highly recommend this place!

the staff was very kind, from the moment I made the reservation til the moment I left. The food was wonderful, a carnival of flavors in my mouth. Every disch looked good and felt like they though about every detail.

Nothing special. Restaurant with very bad Illumination, there isn’t inside a pleasant Atmosphere for a Dinner. Food ok, Menu with 90% cold Food, not very interesting.

Overall Food and service was great. Windbeutel was also not the favorite but the Beeren Tart was 👍🏽

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The food is excellent (if you're into more fine dining instead of the usual German schnitzel) and the service is very welcoming, especially the waiter who speaks Dutch.

We try this restaurant for the First time in 2018. We had a great memory of it, so as we we're back in Cologne we decide to try it again. The food is excellent, however for us it does not reach the level of 1* Michelin or the experience that we had in 2018. We expect for a 1*, surprise in each course, the "woooawww effect" where you did'nt expect those ingredient togheter, the taste that comes out of the combinaison. We didn't found this kind of effecr for any of the course of the menu. One of the dishes included an poached egg, that was for both of us a little bit to cooked. This kind of mistake is difficult to accept for 1* restaurant, especially if it's included in menu proposed. Notes that we took the pairing wines and the chosen wines we're perfect. While we we're very happy with the service, waiters being very kind and attentionned, even trying to speak french with us, we we're desappointed by one event. The food service manager of that night, who apparently had some friends dinning next to us decide, to joint them, and for that sit next to me, back facing me, in a really unfriendly position. It really interfered with the atmosfere of the end of our diner, making us really uncomfortable. It is something that is unacceptable, in a restaurant that is supposed to propose the best experience to its custumers And the end, we can agree that the price for 1* Michelin are not excessive so quality/price ratio of food is good.

Excellent modern German cuisine. Food is prepared to a very high standard and ingredients are clearly thoughtfully sourced from local suppliers. The ambiance is appropriate without being pretentious. Well worth a visit.

I loved how every dish tasted. The nuances really above the ordinary. It’s worth it, looking forward to dine there again. p.s.: we actually ate “there” at the beginning of the pandemics in April 2020. When everything was closed, they delivered at our door the menu pre-prepared. We only had to finish the preparation at home. It was amazing! I can only imagine that eating there will taste even better.

We had a lovely dinner at maiBeck on Saturday night while visiting Cologne. The food was delicious, including a local rabbit special. We had some really nice wine recommended by the owner who also had a chat with us during our meal. He and the rest of the staff are all super friendly and helpful and I'd definitely recommend trying this place out!
