The apartments are very small but comfortable and modern, the staff are nice and helpful. I still see a lot of room for improvements here, first of all because the rent has raised and from that we expect good things/improvements but instead the Wi-Fi does not work properly, washing machines are often broken and/or doesn’t work properly. There is gym but it becomes unbearable during summer due to lack of ventilation and also our rooms hardly allow any air flow.

Unfair Contract Termination and Poor Treatment at I-Live Accommodation Building I recently had an incredibly disheartening experience with I-Live Accommodation Building, and I feel compelled to share my negative review. Although it may not be technically considered an eviction, the last-minute decision not to renew my contract had a similar impact, leaving me feeling abandoned and mistreated. Despite having been a resident for just over 2 years, I was shocked to receive the news that my contract would not be renewed. The timing of this decision was particularly distressing, as it forced me to scramble to find alternative housing during one of the busiest times of the year. When I attempted to appeal this sudden termination, the management team at I-Live provided me with a false explanation regarding a rotation system. However, this excuse fell apart when I discovered that other friends of mine had been living in the building for more than 6 years, seemingly unaffected by any rotation policy. The inconsistency and dishonesty in their response only deepened my disappointment and sense of being treated unfairly. Furthermore, I was appalled by the disrespectful and unsympathetic treatment I received from the I-Live staff. Instead of understanding the challenges posed by international transfers and occasional late payments, they treated me with disdain and made me feel like an unworthy outsider. It became evident that money held a higher priority for I-Live than the well-being and satisfaction of their residents. Isabel had nothing to do with my complaint, it’s their customer service, finance and management team. A disgrace, all of them. In summary, my experience with I-Live Accommodation Building has left a lasting negative impression. The abrupt termination of my contract, the lack of transparency surrounding their alleged rotation system, and the overall dismissive attitude of the staff have shown a disregard for the residents' welfare. I strongly advise potential residents to consider other options, as my encounter with I-Live has been deeply disappointing and marred by mistreatment.

I have been living for 1.5 years already in the iLive Köln building and ever since the incorporation of Isabel into the administration, the building is working much more efficient and meeting the expectations. There is a greater feeling of community and makes you want to meet people constantly. Also, the plans and events that she organizes alongside Laura, under covid regulations, are super fun! Thank you girls for making the living much more enjoyable!

I've been living in I live for five months now and I've liked pretty much. The apartments and facilities are nice, modern and well-equipped. The "Hausmeister" (Dirk) is super nice and helpful and Isabel, the new manager, it's amazing. One can tell how the I live community has improved since she took care of it. My only complaint is about the amount of money I live charge you for every minor procedure. I will switch to a different apartment, and just for that, I have to pay 120 euros. I just hope not to have big issues to get my deposit when I move out.

I’ve spent wonderful three and half years in I Live Köln and I can only recommend it. The building is new and the apartments are nicely decorated with high-quality furnitures. Above all, we have the best community manager Isabel who is always there to help no matter what. Thank you I Live Köln and Isabel 🤍

We recently had a new community manager and SHE IS AMAZING. Isabel is super active in organizing events and taking care of the community. I think since she started here, I Live feels so much more alive. She's also really good at managing occurring issues in the apartment, making sure that everything stays the way it's supposed to be. And so far, she has solved many problems that were overdue and dismissed for so long.

The community manager Isabel is an ubercool & friendly person and at the same time a very efficient manager who takes care of every day operations very well. She comes up with innovative ideas to bring the community together and resolves issues quickly. She is friendly but not lenient and make sure all rules are followed properly so everyone's need are taken care of. I love the fact that she personally makes sure to actively keep in touch with both new and old members and introduces us to each other. Her passion for building a community clearly shows her in behavior, thoughts & action. Its because of her that me and many others residents find that iLive koln to be lovely & happening place.I love the community feeling here are there interesting people to hangout with, build friendships and do hobbies together. Its like my second home. It would be nice if the quality of internet connection is improved & the washing machine room has problems. As a professional its a bit frustrating to loose productivity on these basic infrastructure problems because many people now work from home office.

Im Living here since summer and I love it. In the heart of cologne you get everywhere within 10 minutes. The modern apartments look really good and u feel at home. Also the community is really kind and there are a lot of people that help you if you need something. The community manager Isabel is sooooo kind and always in a good mood, she helps you with everything and she’s also the one who plans the events at ilive. The events are really good and you have a lot of fun there with the community and you can meet a lot of new people. Then there’s Martin he’s really really kind and helps you with every problem that you have all around the Appartment. He also helps Isabel with the Events. Both are doing a great job. The only negative aspect of ilive is, that it is expensive. Sometimes you have small issues with the Wi-Fi, salty water coming out of the shower/sinks or dirty washing machines. But Isabel and Martin fix it immediately.

I only spent 6 months in I Live but I really felt like at home. The apartments are small but they have everything you need, new, modern and very comfortable.. The I-Live staff (Dirk, Jasmin, Laura and Isabel) are always there and have always been nice and helpful. Totally recommend I-Live to anyone who is going to live in Köln.

One of the best places to live in Cologne. You have your own space and room if have to focus to study or want to spend time on your own but I Live also offer you a lot of Opportunitys if you want to do something. There is a Fitnessstudio, you can play tabletennis, billiard, tablesoccer, spikeball and so much more. In the Center there is also a big garden where you can chill and relax. Special thanks to Isabel the community managerin. She makes a really great job for I live and is such an amazing person ❤️
