We have had quite a few meals here the friendly atmosphere adds to the great food and stunning views. The restaurant is very clean and presents well. The toilets are the best we have found in the whole of Sri Lanka. I would give this restaurant 10/10 and highly recommend you add to your stay.

I was about to give 4 stars but turned into 2 at the end. There is no clear way to price the daily fish and charge you based on nationality!. When we agreed on items and total price, they added extra 10% as service charge which they didn't explain at the beginning. They didn't have card machine which made me embarrassed to secure more cash to pay.

After waiting for more than an hour for a simple fried rice, we were served a half portion, compared to other restaurants. Cheese pasta which my wife ordered came without cheese, instead they mixed egg under that it looked like cheese. If it is a cheap joint I would not talk about it, but the prices are in the upper range. We were there several times when there were no guests last year. This time it was good. As soon there are more guests, portions getting smaller.

The dishes are below average. The fries were served with black dots indicating an old oil . Grilled chicken with mushroom sauce or pepper sauce is on the menu. Neither of them could be seen . When I pointed it out to the waiter, he had forgotten and a sorry turned out to be sufficient. No compensation was offered. It is clearly assumed that these are one - day customers and good service is not an issue . My companions' dishes were also below average. You can eat better and tastier in the region at an acceptable price. Also check the bill.
