My favourite vegetarian hotel in kochi. One of the hotels that i really wanted to visit. its near to aluva railway station walkable distance only. i have tried their dosa, its too good. i have also tried poori and its tasty. i have also had meals taken parcel from there. neat portion and tasty curries. meals parcel were available after 11 am. you can also buy pickles and different types of papads, dried bitter guard, etc sweets and ice cream from their shop. online payment is also there. parking is there.

Update: Went again, this time the hotel has been renovated. There is a 100% change in ambience and the food taste is incredible. Perfect place for vegetarian food and sweets in Aluva town. Ample parking, good hangout place for family. Enjoy the authentic taste and cuisine. Channa Bhattura is ultimate!!!!

Good vegetarian restaurant in Aluva.. Neat and clean.. Kitchen is visible and can see the neatness of the kitchen.. Quality of dishes are tasty and good.. The owner Mr. Kannan and his son ensure the comforts of the guests and they personally attend the guest.. One feels that they are at home.. The prices are also reasonable.. If you are a strict vegetarian then Swamy's restaurant is your destination..

The food in Swamy's Restaurant is good. I personally tried cholla bhatura which was awesome 👍 must try dish in Swamy's. Cholla bhatura rate 60rs per plate. Must try 👍 avilable from 3pm.

The place is sufficiently(moderately) hygienic. The restaurant is generaly costly like all other vegetarian restaurants. Taste is different and good (Has a variety of its own).The cost of the special meal (also the regular meal) is high considering the quatity of curd and payasam they provide for extra 10 ₹ cost.(The payasam is just Ok. Nothing much special about it.)

Be it their breakfast, lunch, tea/coffee-snacks or dinner cuisines, the food’s always superb!!! Swamy’s make cuisines of entire India, no matter you need a South Indian or North Indian dish, they have it! Superb taste, really hygienic, good service, above average ambience. In fact, sitting there for lunch makes you virtually experience your school days, wherein we all sat together in the same room on different bench-tables, the same here during the lunch hours 😃 I recommend, next you go and try!

This hotel provides tasty food at an economic rate ...only vegetarian dishes .... Tea is very refreshing and i went here for breakfast ... Restaurant atmosphere is very nice and calm ....will give you a pleasant mind and food was very tasty... You will see the restaurant board from road but still find it little hard to locate it since you have to walk inside to see the restaurant

Good restaurant. You can't expect many dishes in your lunch token Rs.90. You can expect normal side dishes with 1 cup of curd and payasam.

We went there to have breakfast at 8AM. Most of the dishes were ready by that time. They serve the food with hota nd fresh. The staffs are very cooperative and friendly. For masala dosa and ghee dosa,it costs total of 140/-. The tea was utter flop,it needs to be improved. This restaurant situates inside a shopping complex,but there is lots of parking space. If you are looking for pocket friendly veg restaurant,this will suite.

Usually I won't go to a vegetarian hotel. But the reviews made me go there. Nice place to have breakfast near Aluva railway station. We have poori masala, masala dosha etc. The food is very good. Coffee is also great. Bought small paripp vada, chammanthi podi etc from there. Everybody liked the same.

[Latest Update]: The restaurant is not as great as it used to be and was even caught during food inspection for unhygienic food. Effects of lockdown. Sigh! One of the best vegetarian hotels in Aluva. Nothing fancy. Just simple good old "sadhya" and stuff. But tasty and cheap. Also the paneer masala dosa's are a treat and worth trying out!

The food served by Swamy's is sooo delicious and yummy...that I visit here almost every weekend whenever I feel like eating food with a home-made taste. I'm still exploring this restaurant, and till now I'm completely satisfied and happy of their food. And also, their menu is super affordable!!

The restaurant was decent, all good . But not the food , i ordered a doas which i think was made an hour ago . It was not hot either was the Vada that came with it . The Vada was super cold . Even the chai was not even that hot.. it all seemed like it was all made an hour ago and just was serving us
