Horrible experience with dermatologist in karothukuzhi hospital Aluva . She couldn't diagnose the condition and prescribed wrongly. And more shocking was , when i approached her after a week of suffering and not eased condition, she asked me to take medicines for anxiety. Her attitude was shocking. Same day i consulted Anjana mohan doctor of skin care .thank God she diagnosed the true cause and prescribed apt medicines, was revealed in few weeks.

Google should provide facility to rate 0 or negative as we are ashamed to rate even 1 star for this hospital. I took my 2-year-old baby to the pediatrician yesterday due to high fever. Got appointment of Dr. Thomas Vinoo. We explained all the illness our baby had, especially stomach pain and loose motion. The Dr gave a list of tests to be done. Using all the machines available in the hospital all the tests were done and gave a bill of around 3.2k which we paid. All the tests gave negative result. The much-experienced doctor was evidently very upset to see the result, since dengue was -ve. Still he insisted to admit the baby for further treatment even when he could not find out the illness. We agreed and the admission procedure started. After waiting for long for their 'admission procedures' to finish, on enquiry they said that there are no rooms vacant and to admit the baby in general ward with others who are admitted with various infections and diseases. We were not ready for that since our baby was already too weak and there was high risk of getting infected further. We told that we will leave and come back once room is available. But we were kept on 'arrest' there stating that since the admission entry has been done, we can't leave. The mere money mindedness of this hospital is too criminal natured. Somehow we managed to come out and went to another doctor who found out real illness within minutes and gave medicines. With single dose, our baby started recovering. Even after repeatedly telling about baby's stomach pain and loose motion, the Dr in this hospital couldn't understand that the baby is suffering from digestion related issues. Later on we realized that the hospital had not given back the previous prescriptions and test results we got from other doctors and kept it in their 'custody'. We had to fight hard to get it back.

I used to stay nearby and have used their services for the past 35 years plus. It is very crowded these days with almost all departments available. Most of the doctors are good but have heard complaints of poor service though no personal experience. Dr. Ahmed still attends to patients and he is the personal favourite of my family. Look into improving the services to survive

I here by visited the hospital for Antigen test. My wife is admitted at Carmel hospital and I have to stay there as a bystander, Carmel hospital don't have antigen test in Sunday's. So I visited the nearest hospital Karothukuzhi for the same. The hospital representatives advised me to need doctors priscription to do the same. I had charged an extra amount of Rs. 130 for Doctors consulting fee and 70 rs for registration fee. Total 200 rs for taking antigen test of just rs 100.

Just an average hospital. Services are not good for amount we have to pay. And experience with Dr. Jayachandran (ortho) was horrible. We want to take MRI from the lab recommended by him. I think he will get commission for that and the lab is not at all economical too expensive.

Worst experience with the pharmacy of this hospital. Doctor prescribed me & my husband 45 days medicine. But for god's sake we bought only medicine for 1 week. We differentiated the medicine on the basis of the quote (" for Husband") that've written on the cover of one of the medicine by the pharmacy employee. The irresponsibile behaviour of the employees revealed when I went to the hospital for buying rest of the medicine after 1 week. I & my husband were taking interchanged medicine for that 1 week because of the quote (along with the name of that particular medicine in the cover) that they've mentioned in the top of the cover. Guyz plz make sure that u intake right medicine .

Compared to other hospitals in the city they are good at hospitality. They have proper hygiene. Most of the staff have overall polite and nice behavior. Don't expect five star care. Overall I am happy with their services. Casualty workers are really doing their best. They have clean toilets on the ground floor for everyone. Doctors also provide nice treatments. First they do check ups to analyse the disease and as the report they prescribe the medicines and determine whether to admit or not. After a few days if it necessary again do checkups and evaluate the changes and progress of the patient. By analysing the report they may tell us to continue the course or changes in medicine. Before the discharge again do the tests and confirm the patient is ok. Then discharge. I think they have two pharmacies. One in the ground for everyone and another on the 2nd floor which is for admitted people. But they can use both. Hope you have a good day.

The area at Covid test area was crowded and unmanaged by staff. No seriousness among staff in handling situation and had a lethargic attitude. The hospital should open access from western gate, which seems to be restricted only for duty doctors. The only access in eastern side has parking restrictions, added with unauthorised auto rikshaw parking. Hope the hospital authorities would initiate necessary corrective steps.

Dear Karoth Kuzhi Hospital Team, I wanted to share some feedback based on my recent visit to your hospital. I have a deep emotional attachment to Karoth Kuzhi Hospital, as my family has been coming here for years. However, my recent experience left me somewhat disappointed. During my wife's admission for dengue fever three months ago, we encountered a few issues. The hospital rooms were not as clean as we expected, and the condition of the toilets left much to be desired. Some of the nursing staff seemed to be in an unpleasant mood, which affected the overall care and service quality. I understand the hospital's historical significance and its central location in Aluva, which makes it accessible to many. However, I believe there is room for improvement in the cleanliness and the attitude of some staff members. I hope this feedback can contribute to the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of services at Karoth Kuzhi Hospital, ensuring that it lives up to its reputation and emotional significance for me and many others. Thank you for your attention to this feedback.

Horrible experience with Orthopedic doctor N Jayachandran. Doesn't even have the patience to listen to patient concerns! Worst doctor ever! A doctor is impressive not by his or her degrees or qualifications, rather all a doctor requires is a heart to be kind and have empathy and kindness to the person seated in front of them who is in great despair! If only doctors know this!

Booked an appointment with Dr N Jayachandran. This is the worst Doctor who is not willing to hear the patients problem. This guy needs to trained to how to act in Humanity with patients. I just walked off and Doctor also let me go without any remorse. The Karothokuzhy Hospital Owner needs to monitor this guy and take action for his negative and unprofessional attitude.
