The place is sooo calm and beautiful. Surrounded by the river. Not sure about the safety as it is located in an isolated region. The green trees and the river bank adds to the view.

It's a quiet place you can spend time with your friends here. It's like a small forest as it has a lot of trees. It's very nice to spend there and you will get a small breeze. It's superb. We can do fishing there and i don't know why but there are a lot of fish there. You can make this place as a picnic place. It's not that crowded i visited there during the weekdays, and at the weekends, some families can be seen here. Not everyone knows this place. It's an escape from the Crowed aluva town. You will definitely love the ambiance there . You won't believe that aluva had a place like this isn't superb.

Boating At Periyar Lake Periyar Tiger Reserve offers 1.5 hrs boating trips at the lake near the sanctuary. A herd of elephants or a group of sambar deer are common sights near the lake. You may be able to spot herds of Gaur and wild boars in the grasslands adjacent to the shores. A variety of avian fauna such as darters, egrets and kingfishers can be seen resting on dead tree trunks that stick out over the lake. During your boat ride, there is also a high probability of observing the antics of the Smooth Indian Otter.

A wonderful place to chill all by yourself and if you are with a gang then there is no word to express that enjoyment. If you guys know swimming, then you will enjoy your time. Visit this place when you have enough time to spend with nature, also for calm walk.

In this Rainey time literally you will get a forest like feel. There is a concrete path through the center of thick nature around 400meters and it will give a frightening feel. That is really enjoyable if you are going alone 😂 Its really worth to give a walk, you can jump into a forest from the city with in no time ❤

Very nice place for spending a couple of hours with family. Be careful about hooligans in late evenings. Better to visit the place during day time.

The place is good but not safe. A very valuable piece of nature near the Periyar river, but the Aluva Municipality has no idea how to make good use of it. Another example of inefficiency from the authorities.
