Poorly maintained property. Classical example of Public sector management. Very sorry to see the deteriorating assets here. Kerala State Government should think of bringing in professional management team to protect this asset and to run this as profit making establishments. This property is having all potential and advantage considering it’s prime location to develop as 5 star guest house for quality hospitality services.

The two days stay at the Aluva Palace GH was really good and impeccable. It turned out to be a retreat for me from my busy life. The calm and neat surroundings were really refreshing. The well maintained rooms, spacious infrastructure, hospitality of the staff, taste of food served, the scenic beauty of Periyar and Aluva manappuram from the room's balcony are all beyond words. Really astonished by the serene environment.

Excellent place to stay. Well mannered and supporting staff. Manager is so kind well trained and understanding. The palace is having state seed farm which is also worth visiting. The incharg of farm is well educated, experienced and continuously helping farmers

Amazing guest house from Kerala tourism. Stayed here for an official visit. Best place to stay in Aluva with back waters on the back of guest house. One can stay for the view.

As always, it was great to visit government guest house aluva. You are always such an amazing host, and as always, delicious meals for lunch & what a clean and peaceful atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful host ♥️

Not for public that what i heard GAD.its waste of time for applying and waiting

I've only heard about this place, don't know how's it, since regular people can't enter there. 💠.

We may write stories while sitting open air gallary facing to great periyar river... The silent river flowing, the train crossing in long view... Bridge leads to Mahadeva temple opposite to river ... Lots of people in opposite of river for bathing and swimming... Sivarathri is very gracious in Aluva....Aluva 'manal puram' in long view other side of periyar... Great scenary... No of rooms limited ... Mostly available to VIPs only... Very difficult to get stay even difficult than Ernakulam guest house....

Great ambiance . Unbelievable luxury. It's a govt run guest house. That public can also book rooms here was a recent amendment. I don't know whether it holds
