Overall good experience. Foot bridge as well as escalator and elevator facilities are available. Foot bridge has steps as well as ramp for wheelchairs but is a bit congested. Escalator was out of function today (April 30 2022). Wheelchair accessible place near KSRTC Bus Depot. Taxi and Auto are available nearby always.

One of the best railway station in kerala ❀️ in rest room they have some creativity about Gandhi’s life style. And the painting which can easily attract and learn about his life 🎊 . Government should initiate same thing in every railway station resting room. At least about our historic moments so people will understand our culture and history easily

I came to this place once, and it's was nearly 3 am so i haven't got much time to explore the station but it had a elevator which is working well and good amount of shops, I guess some. Of the platforms are under renovation hope they renovate it as soon as possible. Other than that this place is tidy and neat

Bit poor But not bad. There is separate rest room for ladies and gents. And the wall art done here is so attractive.

Aluva railway station is one of the important railway stations in Ernakulam district, Kerala. It is totally an old looking railway station. The infrastructure and facilities of the station has to be updated. Platforms were hygienic but the toilet facilities were not good for passengers. Limited parking of the vehicles available infront of the station.

Pros: Neat & Lavish sitting area. Lift available for baggage and useful for Elderly people. RPF Security is good. Cons: Moderate connectivity available. The metro is too far from the Railway Station. The bus station is near. Night Cab / Auto service charges double the rate.

Good and nice station but need to be improve a lot. Better option for passengers with lot of connectivity. Easy connect to city and airport too. Goods handling /Parcel handing services also available. Its realy help full for all to utilize Railway facilities sufficiently. Basic service are getting fulfilled, but again want a grate improvement. However a good place and good station for local passenger.

Aluva railway station is one of the busiest stations and it's a main hub for people travelling to and from Ernakulam, Muvattupuzha, Idukki, and nearby places. Lots of people who come to work in Kerala from north India use this station. But the facilities here are not updated and still lacks a proper waiting room, a good entrance to the station, and basic infrastructure to serve the people who are using this station. You can see this people sleeping in the platforms as well as in the area close to the entrance. Work on the remaining upgrade to the station need to be completed soon and a major renovation is to be done. I haven't seen a book vendor more arrogant than the one in Aluva railway station. This shows the lack of service mentality and especially if you are in a place where there are interactions with people all the time.

This is Aluva railway station and it's always a busy station. And you know that Perumbavoor is the nearest place for aluva and there are lots of northeast people working. Most of them travel Northeast. That is why we can see lots of North indian people in Aluva. Most of the trains have stops in Aluva railway station. There are reservation counters and 3 of normal ticket counters. It's a neat and clean place and there are food courts. Kerala state road transportation is next to the Aluva railway station. It is easy to access Metro railway station as well that is near the private bus terminal.

An average railway station under Trivandrum railway sub division. Too cowded in peak times. Even though it is crowded, the toilets and rest area is maintained clean and tidy. Access to bus station (both KSRTC bus stand and private bus stand) is too easy from this railway station. Only one foot over bridge is there. Another one is under construction. Ministry of Railway have to expend more to bring some state of the art facilities.

Aluva railway station is an excellent transportation hub that serves as a gateway to the beautiful city of Aluva in Kerala, India. The station is well-maintained and clean, with easy access to a range of amenities such as ticket counters, waiting rooms, and food stalls. One of the highlights of the Aluva railway station is its efficient and reliable train service. Trains arrive and depart on time, making it an ideal mode of transportation for both locals and tourists alike. Additionally, the station is conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to explore the vibrant and diverse culture of Aluva. Overall, I highly recommend the Aluva railway station for anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and enjoyable transportation experience. Whether you are traveling for business or leisure, this station is sure to provide a hassle-free journey.

Could be maintenance better. I've visited Kozhikide Jn too. Maintenance wise Aluva station is no match. Only 3 platforms and one has to walk a long for foot over bridge or lift from the entrance. No stalls on Platform 3 where mostly trains towards Palakkad stop. Not enough TV screens for information. Even though Enquirry counter staff informed Platform number fir our Journey, it was not displayed on TV screen till the arrival of the train.

Has to improve a lot, not developed to the current situation, as lot of people coming to and fro from Cochin airport choose this railway station for their journey the facilities are pathetic. Has to wait for the train in the third platform, was raining no covered roof for the area where my boggy was coming,no proper sign board's, cleanliness to be improved.

Overall good railway station. Resuarants are there, waiting hall and taxi can be called from entrance. Platforms are properly maintained, foot over bridge is there to cross the platform. Ksrtc bus stand is nearby, Aluva metro is around 3-4km from railway station

According to me this railway station is one of the best railway stations in Kochi when you talk about connectivity. It is well connected to other districts and major places of Kochi. Nearby is the bus stop, metro station and huge market area. Railway station is well maintained.

Aluva stations close proximity with ksrtc bus stand and private bus stop is the only positive point. Otherwise it is least developed station in Kerala. There are so much commuters using the station. There is no adequate parking space for cars. Cements are unloaded here occasionally and during unloading the cement powder is all over the 2 and 3 rd platform that we can stay there without inhaling cement.
