Don't forget to tour the agriculture displays in the separate building.

Interesting considering it was once a hospital. Had a lot of information about veterans and some native information

Charming museum, with a wealth of exhibits portraying the early days of Northwest Oklahoma. This day was living history! There was someone weaving and someone in the kitchen and the funeral room, and the hospital room, etc. Each ready to tell you something about how it used to be. Every time I go, I see and learn something new!

What a fantastic museum! Wow is all I can say. So much amazing pieces of history. Even my kids enjoyed it. They had so much fun doing the scavenger hunt. We all really enjoyed it immensely and would definitely come back and bring more visiting family members. A wonderful experience with a wonderful group of knowledgeable people who work there. Highly recommend

I loved it! I could have spent all day exploring! I saw everything, but I intend to return to really read the details that I missed.

Love learning more about the past. Enjoyed seeing all the old artifacts in the museum which used to be a hospital. The kids enjoyed the trip which makes it worth while! Little gift shop stop off before we left, and back out on the road!

We came from California. This was an amazing experience. My 4yr old was so interested because of our fantastic tour guide who knew so much about the history of everything.

One of a kind museum which provides unique pieces of the history of Alva but also transferrable to all small towns. Truly worth the drive to Alva because you cannot see so many of these pieces anywhere else, especially not in such pristine condition. My only suggestion would be for the staff to add to the didactics with more historical and less personal notes about each piece.

A really cool museum that used to be a hospital. It's said to be haunted and I definitely felt some off feelings and saw some weird stuff in pictures my group took. Highly recommend visiting.

Beautiful piece of history! Staff is very informed and happy to answer questions. My nephew loved the train display. This museum has wonderful bits of historic treasures throughout it. The Miss Oklahoma exhibit is stunning. They even have a restored church to host weddings.

I checked out this museum a couple years ago with my family when visiting from California. The history here is amazing and I love that the building itself is historical as well. The staff were so friendly and were happy to teach me some history of the town. I recommend stopping by this place if you're driving through Alva.
