I love this little park! It's so shady and there are monkey bars, rings to cross, a "zip line", two different spinning things, plus the classic playground with slides. Basically, it's fantastic.

Probably went down the slides here 1000+ times and it stank

Just came from a repast after a funeral memorial service for one of my Jehovah's Witness sisters who passed away from Alzheimers Disease. The venue was just the right size for about 60-70 people. There were about 7 round tables and 2 long ones near the wall. There is also a small kitchen to arrange food and wash dishes. The friends decorated it beautifully! It had a small stage area where the immediate family sat. It is brightly colored and well lit. Everyone was able to move around comfortably. Also, there is a park right next to it so have a gathering there and bring the kids!!!

Good quite place for birthday parties

Was very tidy considering there was a baseball going on and we had a b-day party for 2 of my grandbabies. Love the play area. Has been updated since I was there last. That was years ago. Have a rating of 4 because no park is perfect. Would recommend for parties and just a place to chill. Plus good ball field.

It is also equiped with work out areas for adults alongside the park with updated playground area for the kids. One large with grill alongside and one small pavilion no grill, picnic benches in designated areas. Clean bathroom facilities also conveniently located. Watch soft ball schedules, some weekends they have food vending stand open. So you can watch a game have lunch and take your kids to a beautifully shaded park.

We t there with my 1 year old and 5 year old and had 5 adult men and 3 women try and fight me and my wife with my baby in my arms. Been there more then ten times this was the first time anything like this has happened. Just watch the crowd if it is young punks just turn around. ok

Nice place but the play ground needs to be fixed. My son stepped in a broken part, fell and hit his head and neck.

Had fun throwing water balloons at each other. There is a pavilion for birthday parties. There is bathroom facilities for all. Picnic benches and swing sets, monkey bars and other climbing, spinning apparatuses. Squirrels frolic in the grassy areas while you can fall down without hurting yourself in the rubber chips covering the children's play area. Benches to watch the kids play or get out there and play because it's big enough for teens and adults. There is a tennis court right by the park and a ball field to hit a home run! Water fountain available if you get thirsty and forgot a water bottle.

Safe, shaded little park in a hidden gem near Calusa river. Come on weekday evenings to watch little leagues practice and enjoy classic concession snacks! Peaceful safe place for kids to roam and play.

Alva is the small community where I grew up. It is a sleepy town with the community center/park right behind the school next to fire dept. Its a nice size fenced in park with ample picnic tables and shade. Great playground equipment for kids. It has public restrooms. A tennis court and 2 baseball fields to.

My two girls really enjoyed it, but there were about 5 other adults and 6 kids, all without masks. This included us since we hadn't planned to stop (it was impromptu) . . . but I didn't get the sense people that go there are too concerned. Nice enough playground, though!
