Just did an exploratory visit so only did the short hike to the waterfall and back. Apart from the odd bit of litter a lovely trail and beautiful forest. Certainly seems to be a lot of options for varying levels of fitness. Will be back to try the other trails.

Tranquil setting and has a lapa with tables as well as tables and braai areas under the indigenous trees and a board walk with info signs identifying indegenous trees, and there is a short walk to the first waterfall.

2nd time coming to hike here. Have absolutely loved it both times. Both times I have gone during the week, with a big group of people. It has been quite quiet but still feels safe. The blue trail (the waterfall route) has gotten quite overgrown so we ended up turning around half way through. Otherwise the orange trail is lovely! Now the only trail left to try is the red one...

There's not enough dustbins at the picnispot itself and isn't emptied regularly. Went on the easy short route and truly awesome scenes.

Beautiful nature!! Wow! The picnic area was sadly so filthy :( people have no respect for nature. If you want to enjoy these trails, take your trash home with you!

Hikes are lovely, and forest still very untouched due to low influx of tourists. The longer trails are unkept, unmarked and overgrown, and shorter trails -5km are still navigable. Best in summer to appreciate the waterfalls.

This picnic spot is in an idyllic location and gives access to many different day hiking routes through the Kologha Forest. There’s a clear map showing the different hiking routes, as well as some picnic and braai areas. The grass may at times be long and unfortunately there may be some loud noisy parties being held at this venue which spoils the tranquility and beauty for most visitors.

Lovely walk up and around the nature reserve. Fairly well maintained path with wooden foot bridges over the various river streams. There is a braai and picnic area at the start of the trail which is free to use along with a mall parking area and rubish bins. No toilet facilities

A beautiful and quiet forest, we enjoyed our hike. However some of the markings were not visible on the longer trail and its best to go in summer.

There are different levels to the hikes to choose from but for our first trip, we took the easiest route to accommodate our seven year old. The path was clear and well marked and a few birds were seen too. Monkeys could be heard but we never saw any. There were streams along the way and two mini waterfalls leading up to the third one which is breathtaking. It's a shame the picnic area is not clean though. If people could just clean up after themselves then it wouldn't be such a terrible sight. The entrance could do with a cleanup. It's a very popular escape as there were a few cars in the area. Besides the mess, I still give 5 stars. πŸ‘Œβββββ

People come, because of its beautiful, natural surroundings. When some people leave, they leave their food wrappers, bottles and cans spread around! Why? They are incorrect if they think there is someone who's job it is to clean up. Forestry clears the rubbish bins. So put rubbish where it belongs please. Thanks

Absolutely amazing scenery. Beautiful forest with some nice spots to break away from the normal daily hustle
