Been taking the granddaughter for years. The entertainment is good for local bands. There is usually food trucks on site and sometimes other activities for the kids. Great place to have a picnic and have family time. And best of all its always free

Lovely park! We stopped overnight in Amarillo, and this park was the closest to our Airbnb. Well maintained, and the walking course is very nice to walk with our dogs. We saved this park for next time we go through Amarillo again!

Great park but there is not enough lights. Why parks need to be dark at night? Please add more lights so we can still safely walk and play whenever it gets dark too early esp. at the kids area it should be bright there.

Decent park. For walking running, riding a bike or parties.

It's a very good site for Music at the Park, grassy area with lots of trees. Something does need to be done about the holes, though. They're impossible to recognize and present a serious trip hazard.

My kids love this park. Not usually too crowded. They can almost always find a couple swings to play on. Which is why we go in the first place.

Grandbabies! I parked on the street and watched while my 16 and 11 years with their dog walked around three sides of the tennis courts and down the sidewalk to the stage and back to the car. About 25 minutes because it was hot. Sometimes there are different groups from business groups to families have different activities. Sometimes food trucks are invited

I'm so glad the music scene is growing in Amarillo. We love to come here and listen to live music during the summer on Tuesday evenings. The kids play at the park and we eat dinner at one of the food trucks. Good family fun!

The park is just a park in the city of Amarillo, not much however if it’s been a while since you have taken a stroll on a summer evening after a scorcher of a summer day then the first chance you get to go out side and smell the air and feel the evening and say hi to the sky you should do it mostly because I’m always right. But your psyche needs a favor from you and you’ll do yourself well to put down your phone and smell the air and taste the dirt in the air. The dirt taste gritty but again you’re in Amarillo Texas so shut up and go taste the dirt it’s good for you.

One of the absolute best parks in Amarillo! Lots of mature trees to shade a picnic, but also a large, flat, open, grassy area in the center perfect for playing games or hosting events. The stage at this park is unique, and every June the park hosts a free concert series on Tuesday evenings that is open to the public. My kids love the playground here, and it is a favorite for family picnics.

A beautiful day to go to the park. And what a wonderful clean park this is..The grass is green and kept up(can actually go barefoot in the grass). Like I said it's a wonderful place to just kick back and relax, take a walk on the walking trail, watch a game of basketball or sit and watch the kids playing in the kid area..The open stage is also nice if you want more privacy or sit on the stairs and view the whole park..
