Newly built facility and so far well maintained. Large parking space is available. However, customer service needs to be improved seriously. Experienced the poor customer handling skills in almost all staff members interacted with. Basically they do not know how to talk to a customer politely and to listen attentively. Looks like the management has failed to implement the customer centric culture within the hospital. If the customer service is improved, I’m sure this will become one of the best private hospitals in the Ragama, Gampaha area.

I have never seen a hospital like this, the cleanliness of the hospital is zero. The service team very worst an horrible. The management hire the people who working here they don't have respect for the patient. Only the charge is taken from each patient. The biggest business based only on money. As simply my point was it look like ''FISH MARKET" Not A hospital at all.

When I came to Browns Hospital 8 months ago service was excellent. But I came today to have ultra sound abdominal scan for my wife. Cashier girl working at 8.00 a.m on 10.07.2020 directed me to front cashier and being there for 20 minutes front cashier who was a gent working at 8.20 a.m on 10.07.2020 directed me again to scanning cashier and I stood there for another 10 minutes and I got number 17 because of this poor customer service. My wife had to stay like 1.5 hours without passing urine because of this poor staff skills. This does not deserve even one star at all. Most Poor service I have seen. Hemas Wattala and Lessons are much better than this. Brown used to be a good Hospital. Terrible service. Don't go to this Hospital again. I hope this will get the attention

Melsta hospital started as browns hospital few years ago. After Melsta group acquired this hospital its name has been changed two present name as Melsta hospital. Its located in the city center of the Ragama. There is wide range of specialist doctors and also 24 open pharmacy. More parking spaces are available when compair with the neighbour hospital and also easily can access to Ragama railway station also Ragama Colombo bus stand. More than 500 employees working directly and indirectly to this hospital. Price levels are reasonable with their service quality. Recommend this place to anyone

Don't go to this hospital. They make all the bill create by them. All the check up also unnecessary doing. Charges bloody high. And Doctors are waste. This Hospitol make only money. Zero humanitarian approach. My advice is don't go any one here to this Hospitol. I'm a one of the victims. Rooms are very small. Toilet is like a jail. Food is not healthy at all. Too much salt. House doctors are not present. More you need write me pls.

We have been visiting this hospital since 2017. Their service was next level when the Browns managed it. Really sad to say that the service is horrible and I would not recommend anyone to visit this hospital going forward. Below are the incidents that happened to me in the recent past. 1. We wanted to admit a patient around 7 pm and they told that they can provide a room at 9pm. However, they told that all rooms filled when we reach there and to wait till 11pm to get a room. 2. Room service is really poor and they spent more than an hour to send tea to a room and that was also done on top of a scold. 3. We got an EEG and they told us that the report will be received in a day after a certification from a neurologist. They didn't call me and I was unable to contact them via help desk as they didn't answer the phone. 4. I bought a nasal drop from their pharmacy and when I open it the bottle was empty. Called the help desk but no one is there in the 24hr open pharmacy to answer a call.

** Don't go and waste your valuable time and money** One of the worst experiences ever. Very unprofessional front desk staff. I had an appointment with a doctor, and the doctor left without examing a single patient. Even the staff had no idea whether the doctor had arrived or not and finally, nearly 1 hour informed me that the doctor had arrived. After 20 mins, the staff told me that the doctor had left the hospital and asked me to go to another hospital. This is pure negligence of the staff. If I could give a zero star, I could give a zero to this hospital.

Please avoid this smuggling boutique. We rescheduled the appointment to our next convenience day over the phone since the doctor canceled the channeling two times. The money greedy rascals charged another ninety rupees for their fault. Ninety rupees is nothing, but the issue is their money greedy policy. On the other hand the women in the cash counter are very lazy and time wasting. They are doing their works, while customers are waiting in the queue. This is not the previous Browns hospital.

I recently had the privilege of receiving care at Melsta Hospital and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The medical staff, from doctors to nurses and support staff, exhibited a level of expertise and compassion that immediately put me at ease. The facilities at Melsta Hospital are top-notch. The cleanliness and organization are evident, contributing to an overall positive and healing environment. I highly recommend Melsta Hospital to anyone in need of medical care.

One of the leading private hospitals in Ragama town. Used to known as Browns hospital and recently changed the ownership. Lots of specialist doctors visit the hospital and patients can channel the doctors. They run a business and therefore, may not think about the patient’s best interest. I have a personal experience where one of my closest relatives were brought here for an emergency and he was asked to admitted to Ragama teaching hospital. If they are fully equipped to treat any patient they should be capable enough to admit him and treat them in-house, instead they asked to direct it to Ragama.

Honestly, the worst experience I've had with a hospital. The staff is extremely unfriendly and disrespectful of customers and patients. They take their own time with every single action. We had a Corona patient suffocating front of the entrance for hours and only when it was late they admission the patient inside. However, the facilities and the doctors are the best islandwide. Extremely disappointed in the staff located at the front desk.

The worst hospital experience ever. Recently, I had to get the service of the ETU of this hospital to put some eye drops into my child's eye. We were unable to do it ourselves as it was only one day after the surgery. She was not allowing us to even get closer to her eye due to pain and fear. I asked the doctor whether they can do this before bringing the child into ETU and she was ok with that so I brought. Then a male nurse came and started bullying me and my husband saying "Why can't you do this yourself at home and what's the need to bring the child here for this kind of small matter?" Before that, I clearly explained the situation to everyone and why we coludn't do it alone. I even told them that the condition of my child's eye was getting worse without proper eye drop insertion. But that male nurse didn't stop bullying us and even exceeded the limits by condemning my child saying she must be more supportive for putting eye drops as a four year child, does she have difficulties in her regular day to day activities, does she have some other illnesses, etc. I was really upset and hardly tolerated all this as I didn' t want to get involved in a quarell at that moment. I came there to get their service for money and not for FREE. And this is the level of service they provide for the money you pay. The male nurse is acting as if he was even in a superior position than the docter there and keep harrassing patients. I have been attending this hospital for past five years and experienced many cleanliness issues too. But this is the first time I experienced such inhumanity of Melsta staff members. I even logged a complaint about that male nurse to the hospital and their response was so cold. I will never come this hospital again in future and won't recommend to anyone else due to this kind of misbehaviour of their staff.

Used the emergency services for a family member recently . This hospital staff n nurses were so arrogant, irresponsible n unprofessional. They don’t take your consent or pass any information before giving injections or antibiotics as well. Nor give a dime about or inquire about your previous medical history This hospital emergency room gave me the vibe of a disco-tech , where every staff was screaming n laughing n minding their own business while the patient was on bed at emergency.

Very unprofessional staff in the dental. Called in the morning to ask the issue and told us that they would ask from the doctor and inform us. Called only 30min Before the appointment. How are we supposed to come to the hospital within 30 min. They always do this. Sometimes call and cancel saying doctor is not doing procedures. Very unhappy with this dental staff.

I would have given more stars but I will not for the situation I faced with the doctor. Dr. S. F. JAYAMANNE (Consultant Physician ). Please do not channel him. Since the time we entered he was using his mobile phone, texting and calling. He didnt listen to anything and showed no attention to the patient. We wasted 2700 rs for 2mins. He wrote down medicine without actually examining the patient.

Very poor service. Im a doctor working in government hospital. And yesterday 28/092020 i called to check the availability of a vaccine and pharmacist said it is awailabe. And today i travelled to ragama from nittambuwa to get the vaccine. After keeping more than 30min i was directed to a senior pharmacist. He went inside and i again had to wait. Finally he came out and said vaccine is not available. I dont reccomend this place for anyone

I went to this hospital today (11/09/2021) for a bilirubin test of my baby. It took a long time to get the samples and it caused a big injury on hand. The staff here are less experienced and careless. I do not recommend this place specifically for babies. Think twice before getting the service.

So I was in the car park @ Melsta hospital ragama and this security guy picked up a huge rock.. So I started recording the scene.. Here is what happened... He waited until the dog came near to him to get a perfect shot and did it... He clearly wanted to. Harm the dog. Not just to send the dog away... Is that what you want Melsta Hospital?

Attn: Manager Ops @ Melstar Hospital . Sample collection counter nurse / worker didn't wear gloves. They should wear well-fitting, non-sterile gloves when taking blood. They slso should carry out hand hygiene before and after each patient procedure before putting on and after removing gloves. I have noticed all other hospitals practice this.Β  it is considered safer for the patient and the health worker or the nurse. Suggest you implement and supply gloves and hand sanitisers to your staff at your earliest. Date visited: 28/01/2023 Time at collection counter: 8.00 am

Went to this place today to get an xray as instructed by doctor. As i went there the cashier was not there. So the girl in the counter told me to pay for the front counter. I had to go their while my son was shivering with fever. When i back she said that the technical is doing a MRI and i will have to wait for some time. I waited for long and later he came from outside holding a helmet in his hand. He even stopped a while and had a chat with the few girls and came in a very relaxing manner. I have no idea why these people are lying . If she informed that the ttechnician is not there i would have get it done from a different place. Pls check this in your cctv if we are lying. This was happned at about 5pm today . This was my 1st experience in this hospital and I will never come back again and dont recommend this place to anyone.

My mom had a severe allergy reaction to some substance in little lion chocolate roll and went into an anaphylactic shock (Severe, life threatening allergy). We are from Kadawatha and the only hospital that we could even consider was Melsta (haven't been there before). We were advised to go to the nearest large hospital, so we took her there. (Leesons hospital emergency is really bad!). The doctors at the emergency saved her life and had acted decisively! This was told to us by a senior doctor at Asiri Central where she was admitted later in the day. Overall, thank you Melsta, and especially to the doctors at the emergency ward!

Very unprofessional service by the hospital when handling doctor channeling services. Hospital Staff has not informed the doctor correctly about the availability of patients for channeling and doctor get delayed for 2 hours. Meaning went to another channel and came. Very unprofessional service by the hospital and the doctor on 08th July 2023. Do not go to this hospital. Worse than government hospitals. Poor service and very poor respect for patients who have come for a paid hospital. If you go here, definitely your time will be wasted.

The worst experience I ever had visiting this hospital. After my father's operation was done at the 6th fl. theater the staff nurse asked him to go out walking where as she should have given him a wheelchair we requested for one but they never turned up waited for 20mits finally we walked up to the main entrance disgusting situation we faced. These people never care once the bill is settled. To all who wish to get their services think 10 times before you go to this hospital also there charges are very high compared to other hospitals. My 1 star rating is not at all what I need to give them.

I always come to the mesta hospital even before they change the name from browns to mesta. But i had teribble experence 18th of aug 2020. I went to consult my physician doctor i only had to show my reports to the doctor because i already went there 5 days before. So i didnt have to pay again for the 2nd time consulting. But i was waiting waiting. Almost like 2 hours of time there. So even everyone has their valuable time. There should be a way of doing that. Orelse they should ask us to pay another consulting fee. I dont mind paying even for my report submition date without wasting time. Something might help. Thank you.

One of the worst hospital to take your child to. The staff are inexperienced to even handle treating a small child for theirs wounds. The rip you off on top of that. For any treatment their solution is to get admitted and more over about 15 doctors will open and close your room door for the day and the best part is Everytime I they peep into your room. You are charged for it as consultation fee. End of the day the job is not done and have to visit multiple times to get it corrected and you are charged each time too

The hospital is good but the management needs to grow a lot more..Because when we make an appointment with a doctor, we pay for him.If we are later than the appointment time given to us, the doctor won't wait for us to arrive, right? But if we book an appointment and have an appointment at the time of 7.30 am , the doctor will arrive at 9.30 am.This is not the first or second time this has happened to me. This has happened to me over amore than 5 times. When the doctors are late like that. Are they re paying for our time waste. They should understand that we are their customersIf the customer is not satisfied, there is no way forward for the business

Requested to discharge my mother around 6am.But still waiting for doctor.Im living abroad. Can’t call from here to Melsta hospital. I tried more than 10 times. Shame 😑

Worst experience I ever had in a hospital. They are doing a complete scam. After conducting all the tests that are not related to the disease and finding something out of it, the patient's bill is increased by delaying the discharge. Think a hundred times before entering.

Not recommend the staff of ECG room. They make some errors while the ECG testing and then make unnecessary immergency to admit the patient without considering the errors they made. This happend to me and my relations as well. Please be kind enough to arrange skilled staff for ECG room. I have visited melsta for 3, 4 years, but from now decided to stop testing from here anymore. I do not recommend to anybody the service of ECG.

There was only one doctor to handle all these checkup...
