Amazing little jem tucked away. We stayed for a night, and it was the only place for miles with a room under $150. The owner was a sweetheart, you could feel all the love and care that was put into it. To us it was like visiting grandma's house, warm, welcoming, calm, and clean. It is true it's "outdated", but that's part of the charm, to be relaxed.

Stayed 1 night while on a motorcycle trip seeing the Great Lakes with a friend. We both agreed room was extremely clean, comfortable and simple. Our room was closest to the road but, with the air on there was no outside noise coming in. Restaurants within walking distance and a few miles down the road was the main town. Would stay here again!

Clean, comfy, affordable and friendly. Walmart close. Food close. Excellent place to stay. Not a 5 star resort, but it's very clean and very comfortable. Feels like home. Love all the staff. You will need your hairdryer. It has a coffee maker. No refrigerator or microwave. But it does have ice. Would stay again most definitely

Went up for a fishing trip and everything was great. Staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. Had boat parking in back which helped to charge batteries. Will definitely stay again

Family owned and operated. Rooms were very clean. Prices are beyond fair. A little down the road from downtown Ludington but who cares.

A perfect little 26 room Motel. We were driving south from the Cherry Hut in Beulah hoping to reach Manistee or Ludington. 5 hotels in Manistee all above $250 in early June 2023. So as we approached Ludington, we prayed for a clean, close & affordable room. And boom up popped the Griener Motel. The vacancy sign was not lit so we stopped anyways. Mrs. Griener at 10pm in her house coat, welcomed me, assured me the rooms were clean & smoke free $109.57 Deal.🀝 The room was absolutely charming, the decor was stuck in a time from our nostalgic past, in a Very Good Way. Bed cozy & firm. Bathroom & tub Spotless + several key handrails. Coffee pot. As an FYI No microwave or fridge No hairdryer. But thats no big deal for us. Several rocking chairs near the motel room doors. No breakfast No pets No problem! Several restaurants nearby. In Closing it was like a step back in time or no clutter & simplicity. The Griener's had even placed a Christ centered note welcoming us as their guests. Truly a πŸ’Ž Hebrews 11:6

So close to downtown and right next to a Starbucks! This motel was clean. The service was friendly, and you can’t beat how close it is to downtown. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This roadside motel is conveniently located along the main road through Ludington. The grounds and facilities were nicely maintained and clean.
