Fabulous venue, very popular for a Thursday, and service was slow, probably as a result. If you are in no hurry then no issue as the food is faultless. Strong recommendation is sticky Toffee pudding. Best I have ever had.

First time eating here and it did not disappoint! Walked in and we managed to get a table. Loved the decor. Open steak sandwich was delicious and so was the halloumi salad! The cocktails was yummy! Would recommend

Amazing food and fun cocktails🍴This will always be my favourite pub, the staff are always friendly and efficient. We were recently served by Agneta who was super attentive and smiley. Never had a bad meal and visit regularly 😀

Beautiful historic upscale pub/restaurant. Accent here is on quality food in a rustic setting. Friendly staff and as large as the pub is, would recommend booking prior to arrival. Only a minor issue, but the menu would benefit from having more Gluten Free options. Enjoy. M

The joiners arms, my first time at this place however my Mrs has been many times and loves it. The Seattle pizza was nice, very filling, large portion size. Shame it was burnt on the base making parts slightly uneatable. Then we move onto the dessert, a very limited selection of ice cream flavour which was slightly annoying but it was good. Sadly was so full we didn't eat much as our eyes were bigger than our tummy's. The drinks were lovely, never had sorbet on top of a blue lagoon so that's a first for me! I would recommend going to the joiners arms, loads of parking available with an Easy and cheap route in a taxi, only about £10 each way, if not less.

The atmosphere and decoration here is amazing. The service was faultless and ordering and paying via QR code on the table worked great. I had the trio of burgers, the pulled pork burger wasn’t my favourite but the other two were delicious. The teapot cocktail was amazingly presented and tasted really nice. Some of the other cocktails like the one that came in test tubes weren’t as nice unfortunately, but they were all presented amazingly and imaginative. The cocktail prices were surprisingly good value also. Would recommend for a fun date.

Lovely little date evening, cute set up outdoors! Wrap up though because it does get chilly when the temperature drops. Not my first visit and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Lovely welcoming staff! Food was nice although the base of the pizza was quite over cooked and I left half of it. Cocktails were yummy! Parking on site, toilets inside, clean and tidy overall and fast service. All in all was a lovely evening we enjoyed it!!

Found using Google maps to show local restaurants, so we turned up without a booking on a Saturday afternoon. Staff were able to sit us quickly despite our lack of reservation but they were genuinely busy so I definitely recommend booking in advance. This place is popular for good reason. The decor is well thought out, with an illuminated cherry tree taking centre stage, friendly helpful staff and a relaxed vibe. I had a little trouble squeezing my chair through some of the spaces between tables, but staff walked ahead and quietly asked other diners to allow me room to pass. This could have been avoided if we had booked in advance but everyone was very accommodating and helpful. The menu had options to suit everyone as per the links for the venue, and all food was delivered hot, well presented and delicious😋 Drinks and condiments were offered throughout, and the dessert menu was too good for me to good. There was a disabled loo but I didn't use it on this visit as the access was not great. Staff would have cleared a path if I needed a visit. The bill was presented with a bag of sweets which delighted both of us, and when I asked about adding a tip to my card payment I was happy to hear they do go to the staff. A lovely place to spend an afternoon with friends and family but definitely book ahead as it is deservedly popular. Wheelchair parking and facilities are available and staff are friendly and helpful.

Great prices for the portion size and quality of the food. An absolutely beautiful venue. Perfect for a lunch or dinner after a stroll around Kedleston Hall

We loved our visit here at The Joiners, I had researched before visiting and it didn't disappoint. The venue was gorgeous and I'd image it would get busy at weekend but we visited on a Monday evening and easily got a table for 6 in the beautiful garden, Mike our server was lovely and food was fantastic and reasonably priced as I expected it to be an expensive place judging by photos. I got the pizza and it was delicious and huge so I had some to take away. Would definitely visit again if in the area

Alex our server was fab! Welcomed us, explained how the 2 kitchens worked separate (main menu & pizza menu). Was there to take our orders throughout and made sure everything was perfect. The food was amazing! For the price, you really do get a lot for your money! The garlic pizza breads are incredible, we tried the tomato one today and it was perfect for 2 people along with some other little bits. Really enjoyed it, would recommend and will definitely return.

I was taken here for a birthday meal in November, the food was good (tasty steaks of good quality meat), and a reasonable menu, the prices are good, but the real strong point is the restaurant with all the trees and lights, it just looks and feels amazing in comparison to the average restaurant/pub. I have only been once, but it is something worth revisiting for sure. I would definitely recommend for an occasion.

Really pretty setting and lovely pub. The portions are very generous, good quality, not expensive, and the service is great. Couldn't fault it!

Lily looked after us, she was amazing! Food was gorgeous, we sat in the restaurant and the decor was lovely, the only downside was, the chairs are uncomfortable, they need cushions on them! Thanks for an amazing lunch

First time visit, well worth the trip. Amazing choice of gins and cocktails. The background music could have been quieter, I struggled to hear the waiting staff and the people I was with.

This is the 3rd restaurant of this chain we've been to and gotta say this is my favourite, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, not to say the others didn't cause they did,the wife and I just enjoyed this one more. We both had the BBQ yakatori stick and side order of halloumi fries with sriracha sauce and mayo, wife had a chest from keto and had onion rings,I had the small cajun yakatori stick starter . Food was bloody lovely, wife's onion rings were cold though, but they changed them for piping hot ones straight away no fuss. Parking was a breeze and saying it was a Saturday night and busy it just didn't feel it. Lovely old building to.

We came here on a busy Friday evening in December. The bar area was packed and it was incredibly warm with the log fires roaring. We had reserved a table. We had a number of different cocktails which were great. The food was delicious. I would recommend to others and we hope to be back again sometime soon. Thanks 👍

Amazing food, really enjoyed it. Prices look a bit steep but honestly the amount and quality of food you get is definitely worth the cost. We will be coming back soon.

Went for a birthday dinner and couldn’t have chosen a better place. The staff was amazing, nicely explained everything, checked up on us multiple times and did all we asked for very quickly and without leaving us to wait. I didn’t eat food this good in a while! Drinks were also lovely! As it was my birthday, I got a free surprise dessert which was a really nice gift. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Atmosphere 100% amazing! Such a stunning WOW FACTOR! Bar service= fast and friendly. Food see= patient & friendly and fast. The variety of food is overwhelmingly in a good way. You will have plenty to choose from for any dietary preference. Burger, pizza (they are HUGE), sandwiches, salads, and plenty more delicious treats. The cocktail selection is super affordable and delicious. I would absolutely come back, it's a must see for anyone especially during Christmas time it's magical! We were a group of 4 had 2 drinks each, 4 mains, 4 starters, 4 sides and spend about 140£ in total.

The food choice is incredible, and it all looks and sounds so delicious. The bao buns were a particularly good choice 👌 Loads of great selections on the drinks menu, loads of beer, cider, gin and others, including non alcoholic drinks too 👍 From the outside this looks like just a nice country pub, but on the inside it is a real surprise. Service was efficient and the staff were friendly and helpful. You will need to book if you want to eat here.

Nice pub that has certainly improved since my first visit in the 90’s. It’s geared up for eating really and has lots of different areas around the place you can sit and eat. Visited yesterday on a walk round the area and the countryside round and about the pub is fantastic. Slight downside being the wait to get a drink at the bar if that’s all you would like. As I said it’s geared more towards eating.
