Wonderful place. Do visit this place in monsoon. You can see there are many small water falls. Nature around this place is awesome. There is free parking place available near the temple. We need to take 10-15 minutes Walk to reach the temple. You will definitely enjoy the place in monsoon. This place is less crowded and wonderful.

Really nice place to see..There are no other facilities but calm and quite place literally in dense forest. From main road need to drive around 4-5 kms and hardly 4-5 mins walk from parking area. Hiranyakeshi River originates from this place and flows towards eastern direction and finally merged in Panchganga.

It is best scenic place in Amboli. One can visit the place in full monsoons to see real beauty The river derives its name from the Shri Hiranyakeshi temple. Located inside the temple are caves from where the river originates as a fresh mountain stream The Hiranyakeshi river is a left-bank tributary of the Ghataprabha River originating in the western ghats

Absolutely amazing place. This is the holy place where Hiranyakeshi river has its origin. People ruin the place by drinking in the parking area. Authorities should be vigilant and should take strict action.

Divine temple. Must visit. The water originates from a cave and is warm in temperature. Pls don't make the place dirty. The whole temple area is lush green and in between a forest.

Sacred to goddess Parvati, Hiranyakeshi Temple is the point from where Hiranyakeshi river originates. In the main sanctum of the temple, there is an idol of Devi Hiranyakeshi (a form of Goddess Parvati) with golden hair and self-manifested red color Shivling called as Hiranyakeshwar. The lingam is not visible as an another Shivling, which is used for daily offerings and prayers, is overshadowing it. The temple is located amidst the lush forest but reaching here is not a problem as there are well-built roads. Adjacent to the temple, there is a cave, which is said to be the point where the Hiranyakeshi river originates. Water rushes out with tremendous force to fall into a β€˜Kund’ (tank), from where it further flows out.

Beautiful and serene place. Although it is pious religious place , visiting there just for peace is also suggested. Approach road is narrow and rough. People need to walk around 500mtrs to reach there temple premises
