Non veg for Breakfast. Looks ordinary but, very costly restaurant. This small eatery is having all the non-veg variety like mutton paya, brain fry, chops etc even for breakfast. They provide authentic mutton and chicken fare. Very tasty with lots of spice added. Be carefulwith your tummy if you are not used to eating non veg in the mornings. Parking by the road side available. Highly recommended.

Khaja Restaurant, Ambur.. Whenever I drive back to Bangalore from Chennai, this place is my pit stop for Breakfast. It's on the service road at the first signal in Ambur and is next to a petrol bunk. Another branch is in Vaniyambadi and inside the town. Was there at 10 am and had my usual Paya, Parotta, Idyappam. The Paya is soo soft and they serve unlimited gravy with no specific request😍. The surprise is.. they asked whether I would like to try Brain fry, Kaadai fry, Mutton Kheema, etc. I declined cause I still had to drive a long way and couldn't risk dozing off... These items are ready by 9 am itself!! 🤔👌. Just can't imagine this kind of food in Bangalore, where you're spoilt for choice even on a weekday while looking at your morning breakfast options. Foodies.. Foodies... Foodies... That's TN👍

On the chennai Bangalore highway at Ambur very close to the railway station, take the service road at the first traffic junction as u enter ambur town. Ambience like a small shack, parking in the service road itself. Not very crowded and service is quick. They serve mutton and chicken biryani which are very average tasting, with chewy chunks of meat. The parotta was rubbery and the accessories like mutton brain & Paya fry ( first of its kind ) were really good though the liver was burnt and tasteless. You can try once but wont enjoy going there regularly

Wow is just simply an understatement for the amazing food !!! A gem of a find for a pure non vegetarian breakfast, this is what I would call this place, food cooked the the traditional way in fire wood. Which gives that amazing smoky flavour to all of them dishes. My recommendations, I am not a big fan of paya, however the paya here is exceptional with succulent gelatinous pieces of the mutton leg. Then comes the highlight, the star of the show "mutton chops" mutton pieces cooked so well that they literally melt in the mouth with a beautiful peppery flavoured gravy, the gravy is amazingly delicious with a hint of ginger , garlic and lots of pepper, which we couldn't stop slurping on. Definitely a must try with the idiappam. The mutton kheema again was exceptional with the taste of ginger and garlic on a higher note. A must stop over in Ambur going forward for breakfast...will definitely be stopping over to try their biriyani the next time.

I’ve had food here before but this experience was extraordinary. Was 12.30 when we reached, I opted for Idiyappam and chops and my wife her all time favorite- mutton Biriyani. Idiyappam was cold and a little dry but when soaked in the peppery chops gravy, was heaven. Had a few mouthfuls of the mutton Biriyani from wife’s plate and ordered a quarter for my self. The pieces in the chops were falling of the bone and was polished off quickly. Without prompting the gravy was topped up. Sides ordered were Brain fry and Kaadai fry. The Brain fry needs special mention, bite size tawa fried with pepper. Kaadai was also tender n juicy. We paid 1190 for a satisfying lunch.

This place has been over hyped by foodies. Tried their mutton briyani, it was an utter disappointment, the mutton wasn't fresh overdose of Garlic in the Briyani and it was not hot. Chicken 65 was average taste and was a bit sour and also too salty. They once served the best briyani in Ambur but last visit questioned their taste and quality. There are other options like Parottas, Chicken curry, Payaa etc which is a must try as well.

Restaurant situated near highway while going to Bangalore situated right if the road. it's old restaurant in Ambur. Briyani, parrota, idyappam and paya famous, so u can have in this 3 dishes. Then varieties of menu it's available so can have and enjoy the meal. Lemon type of juice it's not available so u must take only soda & Pepsi kind of drink available. Slow response but good quality. For 3 Persons ultimately 600rs will come for have it. Please check out my images and share the love..🤩🙏🥰

I visit them since 20 years, but the quality has come down drastically now. Prices will always be as per their mood & need. Kind of Inconsistent place these days . We ordered mutton Biriyani, but they gave chicken biriyani as we found chicken pieces , but topped up with mutton pieces in the top that too not a fresh one . Surely, Not reliable ..........

Horrible food and none of the dishes we ordered were good. The mutton gravy was so watery and mutton was so hard 2 eat. Dishes served were not hot. Ambience is very Normal and the overall experience was unpleasant.

One of the best places in Ambur to Hogg the world famous exotic ambur biriyani. Here biriyani is available all time and is always fresh and juicy. Everytime we cross this place enroute to Chennai or Bangalore, we ensure we buy atleast 6 packets of parcels. Thus sharing joy with others as well. Also do try their chicken 65 and pepper chicken.
