This hotel is fantastic. Absolutely one of my favourites that I have been to in all of SE Asia! The location is fantastic. Right on the beach. It is quite and peaceful and such a joy to interact with the surrounding locals. There are many great restaurants within a minutes walk and the hotel's really great mini-mart - Solaluna where you can get everything from flip-flops to snacks to fresh produce. Prices are excellent! Our bungalow was beautiful. It was large, spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable. The outdoor seating space was wonderful and overlooking the ocean. I've never slept better in the three months we have been travelling! The room comes with everything you could need. A fairly large fridge with two free large bottles of water which can be refilled for free. They even have two ice cold Bintang beer glasses waiting in the freezer! It is also stocked with soft drinks and beer which can be purchased for a very reasonable price, coffee and tea making facilities, beach bath and hand towels and even a hairdryer! The room also has exceptionally strong wifi. Breakfast which can be taken either on your wonderful patio or in the cafe was lovely. There is a good choice available for your main and it is served with either coffee or tea, juice or fruit salad. The staff at both the hotel and the cafe are absolutely wonderful and what makes this place exceptional. Daily, upon your return from your excursions they bring you a delicious coconut pancake and fresh juice! They are the friendliest, most helpful people you can meet! Made and the rest of the crew really made our stay memorable. The property also has great amenities. They have free stand up professional paddle boards for the guests use. You can rent snorkel equipment for a very reasonably $30K per day. They have scooters available for rent and can arrange for any type of tour you want to do. This property and it's great owner and it's wonderful staff far exceeded my expectations!

We lived in seaview bungalow and it was perfect!! The house is fresh and light, it has good design. Love the size of it - big bathroom, big bedroom (very comfortable bed) really high ceiling, love the patio with one more bed and the table. The territory is clean, has flowers and trees. Want to thank all the workers for warm and friendly relation. Wish you all the best!

We had one of the best experiences from our trip in Bali at Solaluna! Made and the whole team were very caring and kind. At our arrival they asked us what were the activities we wanted to do and they arranged everything for us, so they made sure our experience there was perfect. We even had a sunset boat trip with Made and after he invited us to try the fish they fished that day. It was excellent! We booked the room with the sea view and it was wonderful. Also the breakfast served from the Cup Resto was great. So if you are planning to stay in Amed and do some snorkeling donโ€™t hesitate to book your stay at Solaluna!!

We were staying at Solaluna for 7 nights and were absolutely happy. The rooms are clean with big bathrooms, a fridge towels etc. and leave nothing to be asked for. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly without being annoying and is always there to help. The restaurant belonging to the Homestay not only serves amazing breakfast but also the best coffee in Amed and great lunch/dinner options. During our stay they started building a pool and further improving the whole Homestay which we hope to experience during our next visit

Absolutely lovely place. The people and the service is outstanding. You have a little home with local fishermen who love to tell you more about what they do. The rooms are comfortable and spacy with a little balcony outfront or the beach to relax. The food in the restaurant is great and cheap. We had fresh fish caught only hours ago by one of them. We had a lovely snorkeling trip booked with them and they always made our stay a little extra great. We loved it here and definitely will be back.

Solaluna was absolutely perfect! We stayed in one of their smaller bungalows, and not only that it was pretty, but there were the small touches and amenities many places in East & North Bali donโ€™t provide, such as a hair dryer, tea, coffee, free water & a kettle in the room, a mini fridge, reading lamps, and beach towels. We could see the beach from our lovely terrace - which has a super comfy day bed you could lounge on. They even have free Stand Up Paddleboards for us! And the people of Solaluna...hands down the kindest, loveliest, most attentive people ever! We were very sad to have only stayed for 2 nights. We will be back for longer!

This place is a small paradise. The bungalows have a good view to the beach and the excess to good snorkeling point is only 200 m away. The owner is friendly men who wants to make you feel really good during your stay.

This place is amazing. If you come to Amed, stay at Solaluna. Spacious and clean rooms, entirely family-run, directly at the beach. The owner will help you with whatever you need - arrange for a tour to temples or waterfalls, transport to and from Amed, as well as ferry transfer, all the while making you feel welcome at any time. Feels like a home far away from home :-) oh, and did I mention free coffee and tee and complimentary snacks and a delicious BBQ?

Solaluna is absolutely amazing! The staff here are very friendly and you will never walk in here without seeing smiling faces. Our room was very clean, and from our terrace we could directly see the beach and ocean. The restaurant of Solaluna, The Cup Resto, also serves very delicious food and excellent coffee. Solaluna is definitely the place to stay, if youโ€™re looking for a cozy place to stay in Amed!!

Best place I have stayed at in Amed. The staff here are wonderful! They are genuinely friendly and welcoming and will assist you with anything you need during your stay. The rooms are far enough back from the main road so they are quiet (no noise from bars or motorbikes) and I had the best sleep of my trip here. Bed was comfy and air conditioning worked well. Breakfast provided was decent. Location is perfect with nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Scooters available for rent, snorkel gear available. Would happily stay here again.

Dont miss if you want a full service like a big-name hotel. The room is spacious, clean, and feel like home. Sadly, we can't stay longer than one night because the room was full on Christmas.

Modest entry but after that a place with spacious rooms and sea views. The balconies are also spacious. Nice swimming pool. Everything is new and well maintained and the staff has the usual Balinese friendliness so excellent.

Best location for snorkeling and watching seaturtles, and this 3 minutes away from the homestay. Ari and Made (stuff) are really good mans and are always helpful(Motorbike, snorkeling stuff, transportation, service....). Unfortunately we were only 2 nights in Amed.

Located directly at the beach. Wonderful snorkeling spot direct in front and than all the way to the right (called Pyramids). Team was super friendly and helps to organize scooter, snorkeling gear and trips if needed. Breakfast is served in your room if you like and is fully okay. Rooms are clean and nice and we loved the outdoor shower ๐Ÿ™‚ out of the bed you can see the ocean... Sometimes it was not so clear who is working in that homestay so you meet a lot of stuff which could be good, but also frustrating if people don't know what you have already discussed with others before. But this is manageable.

Nice rooms and really friendly stuff. The fisherman was lucky in the morning and catched some fish. He offered it to us for dinner

Best bang for buck stay and best welcoming service in our trip to Bali. We asked the owner for a fresh fish dinner. So he got us a big tuna and arranged for a dinner at our room. Best tuna I ever had, straight from the fishers. 4 of us ate for only 120k for the fish+100k tip and there was tuna to spare.

This hotel was, without a doubt, one of the best places where we have ever spent our holidays. It was by far the best hotel in Bali. The hotel is undergoing expansion and therefore part of it is under construction, but we do not felt that this was disturbing our holidays in any way. The workers are simple and kind people who will always be in our hearts! From their friendliness, to their availability, they are all wonderful and they constantly had a smile for us. We shared that we were going to do the diving course nearby so they always had a free snack ready for us when we got back from the course. On one of the nights they even made a free dinner for us. In addition to all these positive points, the rooms are very beautiful and with a very characteristic design. But without a doubt, the highlight of this hotel is its location on the beachfront. Just go through a gate and you have your feet in the sand. We had the magical opportunity to see the sunrise and sunset from the beach every day. It was really hard for us to leave this place. Never anywhere in the world (we travel often) made us feel so welcome. When we return to Bali we will return to this hotel in which we were so happy.

I stayed here for several nights at the ocean front bungalow. The room itself was very clean and nice. It had a little patio outside with a day bed, where you can relax It and look at the ocean. They offered a daily breakfast as part of your stay. And it was so good!! My favorite was the mie goreng chicken!! (And arguably it was the best mie goreng I had my entire trip in Bali). But the best part of the stay was the staff. I cannot express how amazing everyone was. They were so kind and welcoming. Everyone went above and beyond. I have traveled quit a lot and never experienced such amazing service like I did at Solaluna. The staff here literally made my trip. Special shout out to Ari and Madecongkang for your hospitality. This place is THE PLACE to stay in Amed.

Itโ€™s a very friendly place right on the beach. We really enjoyed the ocean view bungalow and the excellent hospitality. They helped arrange scooter rental and a sunrise fishing trip. Would love to return.

This is a great place to stay - right on the beach and close to some great snorkelling and diving. Not only is the location great, but the service is amazing. The man who served us the most - Ketut, was so hospitable and generous, even cooking us some fish from his morning catch for lunch. The rooms were clean, tidy, and had what you needed. The outdoor couch/bed on the balcony was so relaxing and perfect for chilling out.

I came to Amed after spending a week in Ubud and Solaluna Simpmy was the perfect place to be. I loved to finally be by the seaside having my room to overlook the beachfront. it is the most relaxing and peaceful place. The room is so spacious and I loved the balcony. Because of the privilege position of the Homestay you will be able to take some amazing photos both during sunrise and sunset. the staff is what really made the difference. Rajhu, the manager was absolutely lovely and helpful from the beginning till the end. I felt at home, simply you could eat breakfast, lunch and dinner while being in your sun bed at the beach, in your balcony or by their resto. they really know how to welcome people and they make sure you are spoiled. Had the most amazing fresh fish there and they make excellent Bali coffee and also they have a great selection of western coffee, which are so good too. Amed had stayed in my heart and I can't wait to be back and stay here again. thank you๐Ÿ™

Excellent stay for a week! We were at the sea front and were really enjoying the calm atmosphere of Amed. The accommodation is great! Itโ€™s simple, but very comfortable - we had everything we needed. And you really canโ€™t beat the price! This is probably the best accommodation I stayed in in terms of price and value. We loved the breakfast and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely come back.

We had an amazing 7 night stay at solaluna beach Homestay. Located right on the beach very close to awesome snorkeling spots, many warungs, and lots of dive shops. The ocean view from our room was incredible. The staff are all amazing, very friendly and very helpful always. We enjoyed the breakfasts, as well as a few lunches and dinners at the cup resto attached. We would definitely return here next time we are in amed!

Couldnโ€™t be closer to the beach ! The bungalows we booked were literally sitting on the sand as we enjoyed the fresh welcoming juice. Super friendly staff, clean rooms and close to all the restaurants/shops of Amed. The view is absolutely stunning as the sun sets behind the volcano. Also the owner helped us book our boat tickets to Gili when everything looked full on the internet so donโ€™t hesitate to ask him about it ๐Ÿ™‚

Perfect. The inifinity villa is beautiful, right onto the beach. Has space for 2 couples, beautiful outdoor area, very well looked after and comfortable. Strongly recommended! Warm water, fully stocked kitchen, brilliant price for the location. Check in and check out was a breeze. No noise at night. Close to everything you need in Amed.
