Such a great find! Booked 1 night then kept extending and ended up staying over a week. The rooms are big, bright and super clean. Huge windows! Comfortable beds, pillows and fresh linens. Strong AC if you wish to use. Shower had great pressure and very hot water. Location is right in town and close to all the restaurants. They have a restaurant on the beach as well with chairs and great views of the volcano. Love the breeze that blows through the property everyday (and nearly no mosquitos because of said breeze..). Staff is super friendly. I highly recommend. Only things that would make me even happier in the future is if they added a mini fridge, hot water kettle and a few cups :). Also, the wifi needs to be upgraded or need individual routers for each room. It was quite slow at times.

Pakels Bali Villas name itself justifies that it it's a villa.... These villas are well constructed and affordable... These are located just a mile away from the beach.... Behind the villas multiple Restaurants are available... One can enjoy dinner alongside the beach... Best beach view...... Since it's located in a small town cellular signals are not so fast always remember to take WiFi password at the reception....... Rooms are very large and had attached kitchen which doesn't have cooking facilities...... Try to carry valuables along instead of leaving them in the room....

We found the hotel while walking through the beach and checked the room first before booking it. Overall, it was a nice experience. Clean room and bathroom. Well maintained garden. Friendly staff. A swimming pool (that doesn't face the beach btw) and a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner. My suggestion would be to change the blanket with a real blanket not with two thin sheets. It didn't bother us too much because we set the room temperature low, but it would be much much better with a real blanket.

Good localisation, and the staff is really nice. Massages at the spa was incredible and really affordable (80k rp for 1h). Beach is juste there, restaurant for breakfast (and all day long) is on the beach. Breakfast was included (1 meal + 1 drink per person, not a lot of choice, kind of basic, but good). They built the restaurant between the beach and the pool, so do not expect to see the beach from the pool as in the first picture ! Too bad… pool doesn’t look as nice as I though, I didn’t use it ! Room was big, terrace, A/C a little bit noisy, but lots of windows and calm situation (except when there is a live music set in the place next to it). Amed is beautiful, a nice mix of fancy places and local shops. Loved it ! Bonus: sunset behind mount Agung can be see from a sunbed at the beach !

Pakel's is a small gem in Amed. Locally owned and managed. Directly located at the beach, pool, Beach restaurant, diving and hiking activities. Bintang divers right at the entrance. Parking for motorbike and car. When I need my Amed-Fix from the bustling South, I always stay here, preferably in the ocean side building as I love to hear the waves roll to the shore. The rooms are spacious, despite being spartan, very functional and comfy. All rooms have AC and hot water. Huge terraces. Functioning wifi! The price value is outstanding. The ladies working here are very friendly and helpful. Genuine smiles. When you're in for the relaxed Amed Vibe and not expecting amenities and luxury, this is the place to go!

Nice big rooms with balconies/porches. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The restaurant had very few choices and the food was just ok. The location was great! Many shops & restaurants within walking distance. The beach is very nice with views of Mt. Agung.

I traveled the all Indonesia for a month and this was by far the worst place. I stayed in room 1, there was plenty ants for which I was giving spray. Then the staff hangs around your room, talks loud and has their phones always playing something on loud speaker. First night I didn't sleep until 1am as security felt like watching a late movie :(. I then asked to be moved and this was not possible. Extremely stained linen and towels, no service in the rooms, even toilet paper you have to go and ask like a camping site. Adding to this I got a very bad Bali Belly, I had to extend my stay as I was not in a condition of travelling. The day this happened the toilet started leaking with stool coming from the sides. To which I was told they would fix it next day. I totally had to lose it. They then tried to fix it, it did got better but still not fixed. Next day I saw rooms getting vacant and only then they let me move to somewhere in better condition. This room was in perfect condition. The only positive minute I had in this place was when the owner was trying to fix the toilet and saw me he offered to take me to the hospital.

Pleasantly surprised by the stay here! Definitely recommend - the rooms are HUGE! Bed is comfy and AC is good! Particularly like the patio / balcony areas upstairs! Shower was good. Be careful because as soon as we showered the bugs arrived in full force in the room and bathroom and everywhere!!! It was insane!! However, they gave us bug spray and they disappeared instantly! Pool area is nice but lacks privacy as it felt like the staff are constantly looking from the cafe/bar. Breakfast could be better. Perhaps 2 slices of toast and two pancakes? But can’t complain for the price. Hotel arranged a really early taxi for us to ferry - 2 hours away. All in all. Lovely for a couple of days!

Excellent Quality/Price Hotel. Very nice, clean, good service, right on the beach... Amazing ocean view rooms and garden/mont Agung views too. Staff is very friendly and professional too. Very pleasant place I'm staying long term. I highly recommend.

Comfortable place to stay in Amed. Nice big room although the air con wasn’t particularly cold. Nice little pool.

Nice hotel, good AC and nice people working there. The wifi is a bit of a hassle, since they have three different for different areas, but works pretty good. The pool, the restaurant and the breakfast is nice also. We extended our stay with 2 extra days, though we would have gotten it cheaper if we did it online, so that might be something to think about. But overall a very nice stay!

Really nice place to stay. It is located right next to the beach and they have beds where you can lay on for free. The staff is really friendly and the breakfast is nice. However they forgot to clean our room and give us new towels. But overall a great experience, I would definitely come here again.

Big and clean bed, big andnwide bright room, big terrace. Good breakfast. The staffs are friendly and ready to help. Nice beach access. Quiet place. Unlimited free refill water. Swimming pool. They have only 10 rooms. 2 rooms are great seaview.

Rooms are bare. Desperately needs painting and some tlc. Everything is dated. Not pleasant at all. Bathrooms very dated. View is good and restaurant food is good. Air conditioning says 16 degrees but I'm sweating.. location is just off the road so quiet enough and close to the Amed restaurant amenities.
