I’ve been staying here for the most part of 4-5 months and this has been the BEST extended stay hotel I’ve been to! The staff his is SO kinda and accommodating, they treat every guest great. The House keeping is terrific, they cleaned my room every day and always took out the trash and made the bed. The breakfast and Social were the highlights of my day. The Hospitality was through the roof! If I am every in town again, I will make sure to book a room here! There is nowhere else in Buffalo I’d be willing to stay! 15/10 I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area and I will continue to brag to family at home about it.

Clean and comfortable. Over the past 2 years we have come to Buffalo about 3 times each year. We have been trying different places to stay. Checking reviews. FINALLY we found a hotel that is clean and comfortable. The staff is pleasant. The only negative which does not impact the rating is electronic plugs. Need ports, everything is traditional plugs. The location is good and not too far from keybank arena... 20 minutes by car. Our experience was the best so far out of all the hotels we have tried. Will be back in December.

Great stay for our trip to Niagara Falls! Breakfast was always delicious and the social nights were great! Our room had a full kitchen stocked with cups, plates, and cutlery which is definitely a plus. Not to mention the amazing soft, warm cookies waiting in the lobby that we all LOVED! Also, the complex has places to eat and a small market which made this location very convenient. The only issue we had was the pool pump broke and we were only able to use the pool the first night of our 4 night stay. The hotel did offer to shuttle us to a neighboring hotel to use their pool. The staff was friendly and the hotel overall was clean. Thank you Staybridge!

This was probably the best hotel experience I have ever had. The staff was amazing. We asked them questions about must-see places and they delivered. The pool was closed for maintenance during our stay and they coordinated with another hotel for use of their pool. The breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Pro - Very good location and was given a spacious 2 bed room for the stay. Beds were good However the maintenance within the room was bad, the bathroom shower handle came off many times. The front desk did not have any DVDs. It was like a place which flourished once upon a time and now lost it. Breakfast also was pretty limited in variety. All over the hotel, there was some food smell (kitchen was provided but can't understand how smell goes throughout). Had better expectations with IHG (am a member), seems only holiday inn has some standards maintained

The room we had could definitely use some deep cleaning/ TLC but overall it was a nice stay. The beds are comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is better than any other one we’ve had at an IHG hotel with lots of choices! They are pet friendly. I loved that they were decorated for Halloween! As an IHG member we received a nice upgrade to a two bedroom suite which was nice for a family vacation. Very close to stores and restaurants galore but also had access to plenty of sidewalks.

Family Visit in December Travelling from North Carolina to WNY for the Christmas holiday our family of 4 chose the Staybridge suites, in Amherst. It was a great time! From start to finish our stay was wonderful. Front desk staff greeted us, and helped us with things we needed along the way. Whether it was an extra towel, or ketchup for my kids' chicken nuggets; the staff always came through! The property is well kept, and we enjoyed the breakfast area, pool, and fitness center during our stay. The laundry room has many machines and we were able to use them multiple times during our visit. We visited the local Target a few times and it was just minutes away, as well as the local grocery stores Tops and Wegmans. Theresa is the manager of the property and each time I saw her she greeted us warmly inquiring about our next adventure for the day. With my two little ones in tow, and the challenges that travel and sleeping somewhere new can bring, it means a lot when someone genuinely cares and brings some joy to your day! And that sums up Theresa, genuine and caring! I'll be choosing this hotel again, the next time that we are in town.

We haven’t stayed at a Staybridge before today but can say we have been pleasantly surprised. Kurt at the front desk has gone out of his way to be helpful, which was greatly appreciated. True, the hot tub is no longer there, and there is an indoor pool but it doesn’t seem heated, but it didn’t seem to stop the kids from swimming and having a good time. There is a great gas fireplace outside for a patio experience and there was a “happy hour” where food and drinks were complimentary. It was very enjoyable. The staff had been extremely hospitable and in the event that we are traveling in this area again in the future we will not hesitate to stop here. We stayed at an embassy suites Fallsview at Niagara Falls 2 nights ago (a very high end location) while we’ve been traveling this week in NY & Canada and the service and experience at this location far exceeded the hotel we paid over $400 for one night at. Thank you so much Kurt, and the others that contributed to a relaxing evening that we needed before flying home.

Had such a horrible experience here. My daughter was moving to school out here, so we stayed here for 4 days to get her set up in her dorm. First room they put us in had no smoke alarm and the counter was practically falling. 2nd room was filthy. Luckily I always travel with Lysol, so we just cleaned up ourselves. Pool is cloudy and dirty looking. No hot tub, just a big cement circle. Washing machines were filthy, so I had to clean those too before putting my clothes in there. Toilet seat missing a piece. We had to practically fight to get clean towels on Day 2. We never asked for room service, we took out our own garbage, did our beds, and actually washed a few towels. The place is very dated. They didn’t even have USB outlets to charge your phones or whatever electronics you use. They do offer breakfast, and laundry is free. Front desk staff were very friendly, with the exception of one. I don’t remember her name, but she was an older woman with short blonde hair. Unfortunately we didn’t switch hotels because again, we were there to move my daughter into her dorm. I couldn’t wait to leave this place. I also found out that they house some UB students here. As a parent, I wouldn’t want my child living in that filth. They also have social hour Mon-Wed from 5:30-7, where they serve hot meals. If they just updated and cleaned this place, it would be such a hit.

We recently stayed at the Staybridge Suites Buffalo-Amherst. The hotel is a bit dated which is clearly visible in the furniture and furnishings in the rooms. However the points the property loses in this area are more than made up when it comes to the staff at the hotel. Each and every person we interacted with, be it the front office or the team running the breakfast, everybody came across as very helpful and courteous. Speaking of breakfast, this hotel probably serves the best breakfast in its class of hotels! The one uncomfortable experience we had was when the hotel and its surrounding areas lost power due to an outage. While the hotel cannot be blamed for such an unforeseen and rare event, they were quite ill prepared for it. There was no backup power and the lifts stopped working as well as their phones went down. There was no way the guests could get any information pertaining to the outage. Those couple of hours in a warm and stuffy room with no idea as to when the power would come back were quite miserable!

Exceptionally friendly staff, very nice place, excellent breakfast with hot food, fruit, yogurt. The bagels and bread selection were much better than the average hotel. Thank you for the smiles and the effort put into making this a great place to stay.

Staff were all very nice. The room was decent and the bed was comfortable but we were given an accessible bathroom with a ramp that caused water to leak all over the bathroom floor. The room (especially the floors and carpet) could have been cleaner. The pool was also kinda dirty and the water was merky. Also looks like they poured concrete over the hot tub -- thanks COVID. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast (not great but passable - decent selection)

I was absolutely surprised and pleased by what was in the room. Full-size refrigerator, microwave and a dishwasher!!! A real studio, in addition, dishes and cooking utensils. When I booked I was only looking for a hotel that serves breakfast and that was within close proximity to UB. The housekeeping service was lackluster, but it was still a great 2 day stay.

Have stayed here many nights over the past year and we really enjoy it. Love the "social hour" M-W with food, beer and wine, and the daily breakfast. Rooms are always clean and the king bed is super comfy. Erin at the front desk always ensures a pleasant expierence and managment is kind and thoughtful. Staff is great. Rooms are great. Location is great.

We stayed 3 nights for our Niagara Falls trip. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. The living room was a little smaller then expected but having 2 bathrooms was a bonus with 3 teenage boys. The living room furniture is uncomfortable but the beds are nice and comfortable. The carpet was a little worn...some spots you could tell were patched and other spots were torn up. The kitchen was nice other then the noises coming from the fridge... The hotel staff is nice and friendly... They had fresh cookies down at the front desk around 3:30pm everyday so that's where my kids went at 3:30pm Lol.. The breakfast selection was good...my only complaint was it's very packed together and the breakfast is very busy so it's hard to get around. The kids enjoyed the pool but the room is overpowered by the smell of chlorine , so That made watching them difficult.. The laundry room is a nice added bonus. The hotel is located in a nice area with a few food choices located within the plaza.. If we are ever back in the area I would stay again.

The location is pretty great. There are a few restaurants in the very near vicinity, which is convenient. The staff is super nice and helpful. The rooms themselves aren't great. It's just ... fine. It's nice that you can get more space if you reserve a suite but everything does seem to really need some updating and renovation. The carpets are very dingy, the linens are rough and the pillows flat. The barstool was laughably too short for the counter. Our bathroom had a poorly patched area by the sink, over a leak. Nothing terrible but not really worth the money. If you are lured by the free breakfast and are aware that COVID is still happening, you probably won't partake. It's largely a buffet, it was always crowded, and there is no mask policy so ... no one was wearing them and that was just not for us.

Location is great, close to lots of food places and shopping centers. They have nice two bedroom suites so my wife and I can have one room, our son another and they have an adjoining TV room. Its hard to stay in regular hotel rooms once you've been here. Staff has always been friendly and willing to help out with anything needed

The reason Staybridge Suites in Amherst gets 5 stars from me is the service provided by their employees. I gifted a night there to my granddaughters so we could have a fun sleepover with access to an indoor pool. We were granted early check in when I asked. We had a beautiful suite. Not long into our stay, out carpet was covered with crumbs from our sleepover snacks. The front desk guy brought a vacuum up to clean up after us when I asked if there was a hand vac we could use. There was a small problem with the pool that was immediately addressed when brought to their attention and extra towels for the pool and for the room were provided when we needed them. Above and beyond was their help when we couldn't leave the hotel due to a winter weather travel ban in the county. They extended our check out as late as possible and then let us hang out in the den in the lobby for a few hours. They held our suite in case we needed to stay but fortunately we were able to drive a short distance to stay with friends. Finally, they shoveled my car out in sub-freezing blizzard conditions. All of the employees there were kind, friendly and very helpful! I would happily stay there again!

Staff makes a hotel so this should be a 10 star hotel! The rooms are spacious, clean and the cleaning staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great but I really love the Monday- Wednesday happy hour. There's enough food to save you a dinner bill. The computer room is great if you need to print something and the free laundry makes me way happier than it should on a vacation. But the highlight of this location is the gals at the front desk. It's like walking into a ray of sunshine. If you are lucky enough to be staying in beautiful Amherst this is the place to stay!
