I have dined here a couple of times to eat pizza and sorbet as a dessert for dinner time. It’s a great place to dine with one other person to big groups over pizza, pasta, salad and drinks like wine. Everything is reasonably priced and tastes quite good. I like dining here in the evenings during the warmer months as it has a really nice ambience, atmosphere and vibe. Iraqi refugees also cook the food. It is reservations only though.

I heard that Mar Yousef's Pizza restaurant is doing good work for refugees and also they have pork meal. So I went there with friends. Reservation recommended. Staff were helpful, but the foods weren't the best italian foods I could have in Amman. Its lasagne was overcooked and too bland. Ravioli e Funghi doesn't have enough funghi flavor and sauce. Also, it was too bland. I can add salt and pepper, so it was okay. Pizza and focaccia were not special. Focaccia costs 4 jd bc they put a slice of pork? Well, their pizza dough and focaccia were tasty, though. Service and terrace were good but this is an italian restaurant. They could have done better.

Went there with two other couples with very high expectations. We ordered Margherita, 4 cheese, marinara and verdure pizzas to start with, then we had tagliateli with porcini mushrooms, ravioli with truffle, with ricotta, and with mushrooms.. And eggplant Parmigiana. The Parmigiana was excellent. The pizza verdure was the best and the other pizzas were good but these were Rome style pizzas that have a thick oily crust, not too much to my liking. The tag was good, well cooked (aldente) and the ravioli was excellent in thickness, thin and well cooked. In general the food was good and the service acceptable. But the place had a lovely comfy outdoor ambiance that was just perfect.. However, the food was good but not too special. Go there and enjoy it, it is worth trying it once and then you decide if you want to go there again. Personally, one time is acceptable for me. Oops forgot that we had Gelato at the end. That was good.

Great Italian place very close to circle 1. Good Italian food, good service and great prices. Very lovely terrace. Good to know that the restaurant is within the facilities of the church. The ice creams are so delicious!!

Great food, the service needs to be better, my family and I went at lunch time, but sadly some of the food items were not available for lunch, but what we ordered was great. Would recommend

What a find! St. Joseph’s - affectionately known as “pizza church” - has a beautiful story that reminds us of the good in the world. Ask… it will warm your ❤️ The homemade pasta and pizza is delicious, be sure to save room for gelato!

Lovely, cozy outdoor seating, simple but delicious Italian dishes, and some of the best gelato I’ve ever had.
