The food was amazing!! The service was very quick. The portions were also very good. We had almost every dish on the menu and they all were fresh and tasty! I would definitely recommend it if you wanna try new local dishes from across Jordan!

Don't recommend this place. I gave it two stars for the atmosphere. There are other reviews that said that the hot main dishes were cold (warm) and it was true!! I ordered the makmoora, which says "takes 20 mins after it comes from the oven". I understood it was baked from scratch and hot. What they mean is lightly reheated. I asked the server, how come the dish is in the oven for 20 mins but it's not hot, and he replied, "we make it fresh everyday". This place was almost empty (2 tables busy) on a Friday from 6-8pm, that should tell you something. And they also forced the 2JOD water bottle without even asking and just pouring it for you. This place has potential, but in the meantime stick to the salads or go somewhere else.

Hands down some of the best tasting food I have ever had!!! It is quite rare to eat something and be pleasantly *surprised* by the novelty and depth of flavours. They offer traditional dishes that are not very popular(at least to me) but with a creative and rich twist. You can tell the ingredients and spices used are all top quality. Easily one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The services was good and professional as well and the atmosphere / patio sitting was so lovely.

A great place to taste delicious Jordanian specialties, however be careful as this place is very pricey for food you can get for at least half price elsewhere. You’re paying for quality and ambient for Jordanian dishes you can find much cheaper in town.

Truly amazing food! Mouthwatering dishes, yogurt that comes with main dishes is something to die for. I was truly surprised to learn that it’s a non-for-profit restaurant preserving historical dishes. I enjoyed reading through descriptions and history behind dishes.

Came to visit Amman, Jordan from the United States with an organized tour. After the tour was over, I visited Jordan Heritage Restaurant for dinner on a Saturday with two other tour members who were from Australia and New Zealand. We all agree the meal was fantastic! The dinner menu had a lot of selection of authentic, genuine Jordanian food. We ordered two Mansaf JHR (All Regions) and one Fanagesh (Al Salt) as our entrees. Our entrees had plentiful of food portions and the service was wonderful! The story of how Jordan Heritage came to existence and the relationship between Jordanians and food as mentioned in the beginning of their dinner menu certainly makes it even more special and unique for our dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone as I would come back again whenever I am in Amman in the future!

Truly authentic Jordanian cuisine. Curated from different regions and ethnic groups. If you want a chance to try home cooked meals done in the traditional ways. It’s the your place to go. I highly recommend.

The waiters suggested some signature dishes but it was cold. The samosa they served had ice in it - like it was fried from frozen. The other dishes were perhaps traditional and not to our taste. The menu was good for explaining the Jordanian food heritage well

We were looked after by Ahmed Khateeb. He was very friendly and professional. He took his time to explain their dishes and was very helpful. The restaurant itself was very clean and has a traditional atmosphere. The food was tasty and authentic. Their menu is very interesting and definitely we will visit again if we're nearby.

An excellent experience! Very special traditional Jordanian food (which cannot be found in all places!) Great atmosphere. Beautiful outdoor seating. They gave us big traditional Jordanian coats to wear to keep warm!! Beautiful spot and great food! Recommend 😊 Very reasonable prices for a nice place!

We ate here on our first night in Jordan and it was the perfect place to sample local dishes. The service was excellent and our waiter helped us to choose our meals, although the menus are well explained for English-speaking tourists anyway. After spending two weeks in Jordan, this ranks highly as one of the best meals we ate. Great vegetarian options. There was a beautiful, spacious outdoor seating area and we were allowed to pick our own tea herbs from the garden.

Service was extremely slow even on a Monday night. The food was somewhat cold but we were tired of waiting and ate it cold. I ordered a shishah and the coals were not even changed once the entire time. Definitely a tourist trap

Tasteful traditional food in large portions in a pleasant space that gives a sense of Jordan heritage indeed! The owner is also really polite and hospitable! We would definitely go back to taste the rest of the dishes!

Really great taste but limited variety of gluten-free & vegan options. Prices are over priced but portions are good. I decided to have my meal at home, the music was too loud and not suitable for a dinner experience.

Excellent food. They gathered all traditional foods from Jordan and asked the people from the regions to show them how to prepare it. All incredients are from local sources. They also have a lot of vegan options on the menu!

I can say I'm a regular customer in this beautiful restaurant from their early days when they used to be in the old location up until now in the new location. The food and the service used to be exceptionally good. Extremely tasty and lovely staff. However, my last two experiences, were not great. The staff and service still friendly and hospitable. However, the quality of the food was way less than it used to be. I'm not sure why. Is it the ingredients, or is it a different chef ... I'm not sure. All I know, it's not what I expected. I still love this place, and I still recommend it, but I honestly hope the management would take care more about the food.
