Atmospheric ruins of a Byzantine olive oil press. Look for the crushing stone and stone base in the pressing room. There are remains of white mosaic floor here and there. One of the rooms has a water conduit running across the wall above a door lintel to then turn inside the wall down to an underground cistern. The place is undeveloped for tourism. As such there are no facilities of any kind on site. One should be mindful not to disturb anything, and surely not to litter the place. Therefore, one's garbage should be collected and discarded appropriately.

Pretty cool place actually, It is not as dirty as it used to be. The recent construction near the place is an unfortunate inconvenience, but at least they did not demolish or alter the site in any way. You can access this place from the back or from under the bridge. This site has some mosaics and the remnants of the actual stones they used to extract the oil with. A byzantine cross is clearly visible on the entrance facing north
