I tried Chapter 9 Cafe for a quick breakfast and to do some work. I had the lavender latte and strawberry parfait (granola w/ yogurt, honey and strawberries). I didn't know how much I needed to try the lavender latte! It felt cozy and aromatic and the coffee itself was tasty! As for the parfait, it was delicious and a good option for a breakfast. The cafe's atmosphere is very friendly and chill - I love the interior design and the fact that there is a lot of sunshine inside. My advice: reserve a table before arriving because I found a spare table without reservation by chance, and always choose to sit in the sun next to the window - the seating is relaxing.

Popped in here quickly while I was staying at The Almond Hotel. Upon entering, I stood there with my wife for a few minutes as the staff took their sweet time to seat me. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely. After eating three meals in Jordan for a week every day on holiday, I thought the food portion was very small and overpriced.

Amazing breakfast! The toast portion is a little small so I recommend ordering two of those. The lattes were heavenly (I highly recommend the lavender latte; they even have non-dairy milk options for vegans). The poached egg and omelette portion was quite large and filling. Atmosphere is very nice and uplifting (very beautiful decor). Prices are decent.

Cozy little place hidden in a street corner. There is limited seating, therefore you can't go without booking a table. What's unique about it is that you place your order and pay in advance like you would in a coffee place. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, which means that if your dish has strawberry in it as per the menu and it's not strawberry season, it'll be replaced with something else. The size of mana'eesh is too small. I think the omelet dishes give you the most value for your money and the sourdough toast is too small and not enough to fill your stomach, it's more like a side dish.

I recommend this place The vibes are nice service is excellent and it always awesome to find the owner in the actual shop taking orders and checking on your experience. Food was very good, and looked beautiful. Coffee was delicious. My only comment would be the portion. Its not as filling as other breakfast places. Must add something else to the omelet dish to make it more filling.

The place was very crowded. We waited a lot to be seated. We didn’t know that we should have booked first. The place in def understaffed because it was a mess and you have to ask for everything before they bring it. The atmosphere was nice but too noisy. The food was great and it came quickly! Overall, it was a good experience!

It’s always a very pleasant experience to eat at this place. Food: Both the food and drinks menus include interesting and unique items, and everything we tried so far was fresh, clean, and delicious. Presentation: Not only everything tastes amazing, but is also presented beautifully. utensils and plates are colourful and the platting of items is 100% Staff: The staff and owner are respectful, kind, and very warm and inviting... they always make you feel comfortable and like you’re home. Atmosphere: the place is eccentric in its design, full of life and looks joyful. big glass windows that allow natural light in, and during the warmer days, the summer breeze. no smoking allowed indoors. the bathroom is well designed and always smells fresh

A great place to enjoy a brunch. The atmosphere was nice and the owner and workers were all courteous and were happy to recommend their best dishes. It was a great experience and quite (within a residential neighborhood). Parking might be a hassle but same as everywhere else in Jordan. The food selection was healthy and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place. Ohh, one more thing, the drinks were phenomenal

The atmosphere was nice and cozy. I met the owner of the place and she’s incredibly friendly! I tried the lavender latte, it was nice but little bit sweet for my taste. The lavender cake was fresh, moist and tangy! I recommend this place for a peaceful evening hangout.

The food was filling, fresh, and fancy! The atmosphere was energetic, the furnishings high end, and the staff professional. They quickly and politely replaced a misunderstood order, and might I add that even the coffee had flowers arranged inside? Definitely recommend!

Great menu, delicious food, clean bathroom, no smoking indoors. We ordered the salmon toast and avocado salmon sandwich, lavender cake, halloumi wrap and those were delicious. The scones were ok and the shakers cone with dressing on the side. Seats are good but the pillows they put on them keep slipping so not the most comfortable. I love the decor and their smoothies look and taste amazing. The berry smoothie is made with coconut milk so they do have non-dairy options. I had the chai masala latte a while ago and that was delicious. The food took a while to arrive and the service was a little slow, and I was thinking that we were the only ones in the cafe so how long would it take if the cafe were full. One of our group was on a restricted diet and we asked for a boiled egg and they didn’t have any, but they didn’t recommend a poached egg which I see now is on their menu. All in all it’s a lovely experience and I would definitely come back.

Extremely relaxing atmosphere, Excellent selection and well presented dishes. Welcoming staff. The owner of the place warmly welcomed us, looks like she's passionately doing this business.

The place has such a cozy environment, the attention to detail in the cafe was amazing, everything looks so pretty and put together. However, we didnt have a good experience with the food. We ordered the cold sandwich and the avocado sourdough toast and we didnt really like either of them. The sauce on the sandwich wasnt really good, and there was too much oil on the avocado toast. I personally wouldnt order food there again, since it wasnt really cheap anyway, and just stick to coffee and desert, because the place is so nice to not visit again.

The venue's ambiance is very relaxed and cozy. The staff here are exceptionally warm and accommodating. It gets quite busy which is always a positive sign. The food is good. I guess this point is quite subjective but for us, it was just a little bit too rich and dense. The French Toast, for example, was delicious but just excessively sweet.

We went there this morning for brunch and I was disappointed from all the hype about this place. 1) Yes they have the best latte in Amman, hands down. 2) friendly staff and nice set up, yes. 3) but the breakfast was typical what you expect in Jordan; anything that is not local cuisine is terrible. And that’s where the restaurant failed. The French Toast was nothing but dry fried toast. Not worth a second chance for me.

I am so happy that there is such a vibrant cafe in Amman. The atmosphere is great and the food + drink menu is special + the staff are very friendly. I tried the maple cinnamon late and the floral latte and they both taste great. The veggie omelette is delicious and I love their food and drink presentations.

The food: the parfait was amazing, latte was also spot on no complaints here, but the portions of the toast are very SMALL comparing to the price . The food garnish was nice to look at loved it . The price: $$$ The service: you would expect coming to a place where a table reservation required to have a better service from the staff and no self-service. It would make sense from other coffeehouses like costa or starbucks . But not from this one.

I am extremely biased about this restaurant as I frequent it about once a week. I could easily have all my daily meals there and not get tired of their food. Yes, that is how much I like their dishes.

One of the best coffee shops in Amman. The service at the top level. Quality of food at the top level…. All freshly prepared…. Delicious! Definitely recommend this!

One of the coziest place in Amman. I just love to have breakfast there. The decoration, the colors, the staff, the dishes are all amazing. Whenever possible I take a day off to have breakfast there with my friends. You have to try Acai! :) Even to go there in the evening to have some coffee would be very delightful.

Great experience, the poached eggs were delicious and the scones were fresh and warm, perfect brunch in a chilly day. Amazing decorations and friendly staff, clean and cozy. I would prefer bigger tables though.

This little place is so sweet & cozy, with the most friendly waiters 🤍 Love the atmosphere, the hospitality & most of all the coffee was really good. I had a lavender latte, looked too cute to mess up and drink 😅

My first ever Pistachio Latte and it tastes amazing. Natural and fresh. Beautiful unique place to have a good coffee and healthy food.

  • 4/5 Farida A. 2 years ago on Google
I could have put 5 stars, but it was crowded and too many people for such a small place. Very big menu, which makes you feel overwhelmed, and its pricey for sure. The variety looks like you are visiting a cafe in Dubai or even a better place. Too much details , which I find a bit disturbing. And I would expect a table service for these prices. We tried breakfast items which they tasted great. The cafe worker, did not understand me well, and I felt weird, she should have listened instead of trying to prove that I've said the wrong thing. However the owner came and she was very nice. Now the bathroom is another story. Super super nice, kind of vintage style and the music were so nice , also the lighting. Which actually didn't reflect to the shop. It was very contradictory . Ill add the photo soon. However, not sure if i will visit again, maybe with girls for the colored artisan lattes.

The place is nice but a bit small. Food is ok 7/10 The portions though are very small and it’s expensive.

This place is incredible and has a nice decor. The atmosphere is cozy. You can find coffee, lattes, smoothies and cakes. Also you can have breakfast and healthy meals there. But I think it’s a little bit pricey
