Undoubtedly the worst embassy in Jordan!!! They NEVER EVER answer the phone no matter the situation or the emergency case you have, this was way before covid and it trippled after covid although it is supposed to be the exact opposite! They never know the answer for anything! If you call or email they won't pick up or reply, you can't pass by, you literally can't do anything with this extremely corrupt embassy!! I hope someone with authority sees all the reviews from Canadian Citizens who are having trouble communicating with their own embassy, and do something about it!!!!

I just came back from the canadian embassy in amman and i want to express how horrible their service was. First of all, they dont speak french or english and secondly they don't protect canadian citizens rights, they gave me a number to contact and the number turned out to be wrong. My situation wasn't resolved.

Worst Embassy ever! One employee was extremely rude on the phone and kept cutting me off. She was also very unhelpful! Never going to come to this Embassy ever. This was 30 minutes ago: The "officer" who answered me through the consular section.

worst place i ever seen in my entire life , the officer who took my citizenship application for my child was extremely rude , she didn't let me ask any question , very rude. they never answer the phone even when you leave a voice mail no one calls you back. i am a Canadian citizen and very ashamed of this place. any government office in the middle of the desert is better than this garbage embassy.

In defence of all employees at the Canadian embassy: the guys are trying their best please give them a space and collaborate with them they have limited margins to navigate and they can’t immigrate all applicant’s in Canada 🇨🇦 please refer to websites and you will get all information and applications which is clear and straight forward

Very bad experience, horrible, and the staff are very rude, unfortunately. I visited the embassy just to stamp my diploma. which should not take more than a few minutes, they asked my, as required in their system to apply online for an appointment !!! the closest date is August 5 !!!! I told them I need it soon as I am traveling and have no time to come back s as I live away from Amman. They Did NOT understand and they were rude and not cooperative. I am totally disappointed from their system and the way they treat people !!!!

I had the worst experience ever today with this embassy,I booked appointment with consular to ask them about student visa for my brother. The bad behaviour started since I said how are you ,she never reply back. She was at door 1 in the embassy,I hope you listen to what I say . The wired thing,she referred me to some visa office in Amman ,I am Canadian citizen,I deserve to get help by my embassy,I am civil engineer I know what I have right and what I have to do for my lovely Canada. She wants me to leave the embassy. She has a bad personality to represent Canada . If I lose my passport or something with service I am not gonna get my passport forever,I am gonna stuck in Jordan. I am a citizen called from outside Jordan. Had an inquiry about something. The whole answering (switchboard) system is lousy. Someone p/u the phone, has no clue about anything unable to answer any questions I asked.

I am dual citizen, canadian and EU, but by far this is the worst experience ever. You will get a better service in Mecdnolds; sad but true. I've been trying to contact them for three days to enquire about a specific situation but they didn't pickup the phones, and you can't even leave a message, because the mail box is full. I even tried calling the specific extentions for the counselor and still takes me to the mail box that is full, maybe it's time to listen to messages in the mail box and do your job serving your citizens.

I am a citizen and applied for super visa for my mom. After a year of making application payments and med exams they gave her a one year visa!

Amman Consular team is very patient. They’re very helpful . They’ve been helping me for 2 months replying with email and were extremely calm and nice. Their team are very respected people and I strongly would love to thank them for their work and patience. 10/10 I would recommend them to anyone and they deserve a raise

This is the only embassy that mistreats its Canadian citizens. I booked an appointment and after travelling from a long distance to renew my passport, I was told there is no appointments although, I received a confirmation e-mail of my booked appointment!

So disappointed wirh visa services! I applied for a visit visa 76 days ago to attend my niece’s wedding - I have valid US, Uk, schengen visas and a residency in Cyprus and still have not heard from them!!!! Sadly won’t be joining my family for this occasion
