You go inside this place, you find the only goods available for citizens are spirits and cigs. Perfumes, as well as many other goods are for diplomats only. It also is not duty free and they do not ask for your passport or boarding pass. You just walk in and buy what your social class allows you to buy, with tax. The place is a joke and makes me feel ashamed as a Jordanian.

We, non-Jordnians, were able to buy in this place Duty Free items, like alcohol, wine, and tobacco products. My son and I, US citizens, noticed upon arrival to the QAIA International airport in Amman, Jordan that we could no longer buy from the Duty Free shop in the arrival section any alcoholic drinks and wines as these sections were closed. Thus, we relied on this Duty Free Shop in town, in the Abdali area of Amman, to buy alcohol and wine. We did go there today July 27, 2021 and picked to wine bottles and two six packs of Heineken beer. When we got to the Cashier, we were surprised that they started punching the prices in the cash register before asking us for our passports as usual to ascertain that we carry non-Jordanian passports and that it has been two weeks or less since we entered the country, which would allow us to shop there for duty free specified amount of alcoholic drinks or wine. When we got the total, we were stunned. We started inquiring about the price of each item. When we complained that these are not duty free prices, we were informed that the rules have changed and now foreigners entering Jordan on Visa can no longer purchase Duty Free alcoholic drinks, including wine and beer.

Its open But nothing is duty free Perfumes and chocolates not for sale due to restrictions You can buy imported ciggarettes and drinks but with tax Advise , buy cigarettes only because you wont find elsewhere , for drinks you can go to local. Vendors

First time visiting. The layout was a little confusing but the staff were friendly and helpful. Great prices on some liquor. Much more reasonable than local shops

Few options. High prices. Perfumes and beauty creams, highly honorable. there's almost no variety. Looks like they forgot to update the site with news. We couldn't find anything reasonably priced.

First of all it's empty .....few bottles of not known perfumes and drinks. Can find a better collection in any average outlet. Second when you're been told in the airport that you have two weeks to visit it ......its ......big disinformation. You don't have any. It's only for diplomat. So don't bother yourself and humbly bring anything you need from abroad.

Despite the fact of the illogical regulations and the racism in purchasing cigarettes as what i want is allowed for the diplomats only!!!!!!!. They have the most unprofessional staff ever, with a very bad attitude. Note: im living in another country and i didn't purchased from the airport's duty free to save my time and buy from the city.

It’s not a duty free anymore. All duty free’s are gone. Just go to answer store and save yourself the drive and parking.
