I had two incredibly bad experiences at Odyssey that I feel compelled to record as a caution to customers. My companions and I had previously made multiple reservations and attempted walk-ins at the bar or table, and everything had gone OK. We normally spend at least 300 JD on drinks and a main course. Our experience last week and yesterday was really bad, owing mostly to the host's rude and disrespectful manner. Yesterday: Despite the fact that the bar and table seatings had availability, the host did not let us in, we were 2 couples. We double-checked by calling the restaurant right after and they verified availability, also some friends inside confirmed that the place had several available spots. Last week: Upon our arrival at 7:00 p.m. mid week, the place was empty the host started asking about reservation which we did not have and saying the place is fully booked so we asked to sit at the bar on which he said it is also full booked although this was not true. Then he said ok will give you bar seats from 7:00 till 8:00 p.m. then at 8:00 he saw that we had ordered a whiskey bottle so he offered us to move at the terrace which was ok then at 9:00 he asked us to move inside as terrace was booked and while we stayed till 12:00 a.m the terrace remained with availability. Not only did this incident ruined our evenings, but it also left a lasting negative impression of the restaurant. The host's behavior was unacceptable and demonstrated a complete disregard for common courtesy. I hope that management/owner takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue promptly to prevent other customers from experiencing similar mistreatment in the future.

Great place to have a drink and hang out with friends

We ordered 2 mocktails (Cocktail no alcohol) and they brought us with alcohol. Then the waiter tried to convince us that its all good, but finally we send it back. In the end they changed us for it even though we did not drink it. Even worse waiter lied and said that he said in arabic that we cant return it. And when the friend came back she said waiter never told that. We paid and left. It destroyed all the mood of the evening... Worst part - the mojito was terrible my friend tasted and said it was very bad...

We just had drinks here. It was really good for happy hour before 6 pm. Nice for fancy drinks and good atmosphere. Staffs and bartenders were friendly with good hospitality. We will pass by again.

I just love the place!!! It has an amazing atmosphere! The staff is nice and helpful , although a little judgmental if you dont drink alcohol The food was amazing!!! The chicken wrap was delicious and fresh!!! Very summery choice The best place to catch up

Nice cozy pub where you can enjoy a tasty cocktail and listen to nice music👌 love the vibes; the food was ok but not too impressive but overall its a place to be added to the list in Amman👍

Place is on the fancy side of restaurants pub, prices are a bit higher than other places in Amman, Service was very fast and accurate, food was good, you have to book first, they accept cash and credit, the place is not wheelchair accessible.

Great service, amazing atmosphere, food is excellent, the crowd is mature and nice, but the most iconic thing is the staff, Super friendly and helpful team Yazan, Jameel, Rami, Antar and others i didn't get their names. Highly Highly recommended. You need to book earlier to reserve a table due to the high demand especially during winter

Good and cosy place. Delicious hamburger with nice French fries. Beer from the tap, but a little bit watery. One pint is only 4 dl. Happy hour between noon and 1800.

Nice place with good vibes. Service could be better since the waiters were not enough to cover the quantity of customers that were in place. We had a hard time just getting a waiter to take a request. And when they took it they did not get the order correct. Food was great. This place should have been 5 stars ... but they lacked in good service at this time.

I had a very bizarre experience I was turned away because it is for families only, only to run into 2 of my single male friends leaving the pub with no families. Furthermore their were so many empty tables when I arrived.

The atmosphere is very friendly and nice. The service is quick and amazing the food is very delicious and exquisite. highly recommend

Cocktails are so bad. Bartender can't differentiate between Whisky Sour And Old Fashioned. Staff are just rude, we told them we wanna sit on the bar, they denied our request and told us 10 people "booked" the bar all night. We stayed there till midnight and nobody sat on the bar that night.

Amazing food and great vibe!

I love Odyssey, it's one of the few places in Amman that is consistent with their food quality and welcoming waiters.. It's highly recommended. Sometimes I just go there to eat their appetizers, delicious and fulfilling.. Also the Aparol their is superb!

Awesome place really satisfying atmosphere, food & drinks.

Odessy is.a very nice pub/bar with nice atmosphere a large airy place with a small outdoor seating area.. the staff is is nice and has one off the better menus in town as it has a different variety food from salads to seafood and it actually taste really good.. though they have 2 menus one for happy hour ( 40 % off drinks and 20% off food and it runs from 12 to 6 ) and one not though not much difference in price range but I did find the prices a bit on the high side for mixers with my drinks, I mean 2.50 for a Pepsi.. The one downside was that the music was a bit loud, but overall a very nice experience..
