This dojo is fantastic. The teacher (coach) is welcoming, helpful, patient, clear and incredibly competent with a wealth of ever-changing and current experience; his students are a great mix of male and female of different ages and are all really welcoming and friendly. There is a kids class 3 times a week followed by an adults class. The atmosphere is really welcoming: everybody greets each other and has a chat before training, then at training there is focus, commitment and respect and you always feel safe training which is great! The dojo is beautiful: It is a permanent dojo (mats don't need to be put out and removed after each session) with spaces to change, cold water to drink and cubby holes to stow your bag while training. There is also comfortable seating where you can sit if you're waiting for somebody who is training. I'd recommend anyone to try!

A very welcoming gym and coach Zaid. It was a pleasure to drop by and have a couple of rolls together. The class was technically very interesting! Very familiar atmosphere. Neat facilities, plenty of space. Students are a good mix of age, experience, gender. Classes, for young and old were given in English, which I think is a great approach! Keep going! Oss

Zazawa is a high quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy by international standards and certainly the top BJJ academy in Jordan by far. Coach Zaid is a highly experienced, professional and effective BJJ professor. He is extremely welcoming, patient, helpful and has a great sense of humour, which makes each class a fun learning experience. The class environment is also very welcoming, with a diverse mix of students of all levels of competency. The dojo itself is very well equipped, clean and certainly a comfortable place to train at. I'd highly recommend anyone interested in trying BJJ for the first time or existing BJJ practitioners, living in Jordan or just visiting, to pop in to train and say hello to the Zazawa family!

I trained at Zazawa for about a year and a half until I had to move. Zazawa really solidified my love of training bjj in part to the amazing, welcoming, and kind culture which is fostered by Coach Zaid. The level of instruction is great and the variety of skill levels with many colored belt students was a great environment for me to cultivate my bjj skills. Zaid encourages students to compete (covid allowing) and I always look forward to returning to Jordan to get some rolls in with some old friends. In my opinion, there are few gyms out there that have the environment of Zazawa and I'd highly recommend anyone in Amman to check it out.

I usually don't give reviews before I am 100% sure of it. This place is a best in Amman that offer bjj classes for both young and adults from zero to hero. Starting with the sanitary of the studio, mats, waiting area and most importantly the bath rooms. The professionalism of coach Zaid, he know well how to deal with young children (my kids love him to the moon and back) they were not in to jiu jitsu at the beginning but they love it because of him. He care about every single child. He care about everything, the food they eat, their hygiene, and their neatness. For adults the same he care about us a lot, he is so professional yet funny 😂 The place is 100% recommended worth more than 5 stars

One of the most punctuational places i go to! A very organized and an extremely clean environment. An amazing coach with an amazing game plan prior to the start of the class. Everyone that attends is extremely supportive and encouraging as well. Highly recommended for anyone who’s interested in Jiu jitsu.

When I started my first week I thought I wasn’t going to go through it as it was my first Jiu Jitsu experience. It’s completely the opposite! Six months into it and I still look forward to going to classes. The coach is patient and full of positivity who understands his students’ strengths and weaknesses, provides clear detailed instructions for all levels. Everyone there is friendly and more than willing to help you out. Very Clean, neat and spacious place. I highly recommend Zazawa for anyone wanting to learn Jiu Jitsu.
