👍 A good market for vegetables and fruits, in which there are many stores selling vegetables, fruits, nuts and a lot of things, the prices are decent and cheap, and it is located behind the Husseini Mosque ((This photos take in 8/7/2022 a day before Eid al-Adha))

Narrow alleyways and have varieties of products from grocery, fruits ,houseware and wholesale shops and no where to park around and I'd suggest taking Uber down to there

A good old street for walking through and shopping in downtown in Amman behind Al Hussaini Mosque. U will find wholesale and retail stores for accessories, makeup , clothes, toys and every seasons handmade needs (Ramadan. Eid...birthdays. Graduation... Etc)... It has a traditional popular character

The place is an authentic local marketplace or bazaar (which goes by the name of "souq" in the Arabic regions). As a frequent traveler interested in local everyday life, I always choose to visit the local market. This souq provided exactly what I hoped for. I could observe the vibrant life of an Arabic market, saw (and heard) people bargaining over the various goods - the Sugar Market is a place to sell and buy food ingredients, so these goods are mainly fresh, pickled and dried vegetables and fruits, grains, tons of spices, coffee and tea. For my surprise, meat, fish or pastries are not that easy to find. Sure, it is not the calmest, cleanest or in fact the best smelling place to do shopping, but if you are looking for the souq experience, it is totally worth a visit! Grab a cup of fresh pomegranate juice to stay refreshed and squeeze yourself through the narrow aisles for an adventure.

One of the nicest and oldest places in amman. There's a wide variety of things to buy, from clothes to groceries to herbs and herbal medicines, oils, etc. People are nice there and they're used to having foreigners around but be careful not to get higher prices than avarage, make you you ask at multiple places to know the avarage price of whatever you wanna buy before buying it.
