My visit in Dec was amazing and had good time in Amritsar. One of the reasons for my elated experience is due to Ramada stay. The staff, the place, the experience are amazing. The staff were helpful in every aspect ….. right from allocating a room till your check out…. Guiding me to places…. Providing some high level dos and don’ts ……. One concern I had was that we paid Rs 10k for one night stay but we were denied complementary breakfast …. Which was quite surprising as the some customers who paid less than us were entertained . I’m sure this would be my place to stay during my next visit too….. Thank you Ramada

Highly recommended to other peoples very helpful staff. My husband was not feeling well and the staff helped me with my ticket to go day before my booked day. Wonderful place to stay. I don’t normally stay in hostels but this was perfect – the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are quiet despite the fact that if you want to, you can spend time outside with other travelers and the staff – who, by the way, were exceptional. [Employee Name] really went out of her way to make sure everyone got what they needed, whether it was directions, recommendations, or help with their transportation. I had a great time meeting everyone and socializing yet when I wanted to, I could get a quiet night’s sleep.

Excellent location for local shopping right next door as well as the Golden temple 2km by car), Partition museum (just 300m walk). Delicious veg dinner dishes (portion sizes are large!) Very helpful staff. Exemplary all round cleanliness

Lovely location. But service has a long way to go. Not able to arrange breakfast for our 6:45am departure. Either at breakfast table or take away. It’s a shame. That should have been the easiest ask I would expect from any hotel. Rooms: no USB connection. Water temperature only moderate.

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Service is excellent as soon as you enter the property. Doorman in traditional dress gives you a warm welcome which continues throughout the hotel. Rooms are elegantly decorated though storage space is limited. Bathrooms are generous and clean with walk in shower. Restaurant serves delicious food and there is an open kitchen to watch the chefs as they toil for your pleasure. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay. This was my second time. Service second to none. Clean spacious rooms. Good breakfast and on top of it... right next to golden temple... one can't ask for more... Keep up the good work guys..

Ramada is known for compact rooms and comfortable stay. This Hotel location is very good, nearer to the Golden Temple (approx. 500 m walk). If you have a car then it might take sometime as it is in the center of the market but if you are shopping freak then this location will definitely excite you!

Folks - this has been my hotel to stay in past couple of years when I visited Amritsar. Staff on every front line is amazing / down to earth and want to make sure that you are attended at every level. Rooms and room service is prompt. Restaurant buffet is like buffet on a cruise ship. Fresh “Chai” (I can drink that few times a day). Overall food options are amazing. I totally rate them 5/5

Have stayed here before for its location close to the golden temple and shopping area. Decent hotel. Restaurant is good. The rooms are showing some signs of wear and tear now. Back side rooms have no view at all. Keep curtains drawn. Since the hotel is running full, expect some wait at check in. Staff is courteous and helps in a smooth experience.

Stayed for two nights. Great location, at 10 min walking distance from golden temple with other landmarks in the way. Airport at 25 min drive. Room was slightly small but comfortable. Vast breakfast buffet. A la carte prices too were reasonable. Hotel cab rates were slightly higher, but pvt cab drivers can be found roaming outside golden temple. A great 4 star property.

So I stayed at this property for one night. The front desk staff was very unprofessional. Firstly they tied to oversell the room for a much higher price from what it was listed online. When I asked them that I don’t want breakfast included the staff replied that sir we offer all our guest breakfast irrespective of the price of the room, it’s basically complimentary for every guest. Then I booked the same room online keeping in view that breakfast would be included in the price since the staff mentioned that breakfast is free for all guest. Thereafter the staff denied to offer me breakfast by stating that since I booked the room online and didn’t go through them so they won’t offer me breakfast. Basically they didn’t appreciate the fact that I booked the room online. My experience was quite bad. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Also, I was a regular guest, this was my 3rd time staying at the property but they still decided to be disrespectful and cheated me. This method adopted by them was highly unprofessional and amounts to unfair trade practices. They basically lie and deceive their guests by making false statements.

Super amazing location. It is literally walking distance from Golden Temple. Hotel staff ( including Jyoti) was so warm and welcoming. Review will be incomplete without the mention of the amazing food that was served in breakfast buffet and even otherwise from the kitchen. Super happy with my stay and will strongly recommend for stay. Kudos to Ramada team

I was staying at Ramada Amritsar during my last visit in April 2023 . My family and I came for my son’s wedding shopping and also to offer prayers at Harmandir Sahib . Warm and Efficiently Kindly staff. Buffet was sumptuous. Everything was just prefect . Visiting Again in September and have booked again Ramada ! Looking forward .

Best Location !! Just 10 minutes walk from the Golden Temple. Market area is just opposite the hotel for shopping etc. Rooms and service is good. All hotel staff were prompt. Reasonable pricing.

Very Close to golden temple and heritage walk. Market place right outside the hotel. Crowded area around but really good in terms of accessibility. Must bargain well with the e-autos standing outside. Rooms and service are good for family stay. Breakfast 👌

The quality of the rooms, the service and the buffet breakfast were perfect and the hotel is perfect for exploring Amritsar! One disappointment, however, was that we were charged Rs 1200 for a hotel car to take us from the hotel to the airport. This was a surprise as we had not been told about this beforehand!

Everything about this stay was outstanding. From the moment we walked in and were greeted at the door with tikka, we knew we'd be treated well. The rooms were a little small but clean and very comfortable. The view from our room wasn't great but that's cause it's right in the middle of a busy street so we looked down onto the roof top of someone's home and saw them drying their laundry. We loved the roof top pool the most with comfortable lounge chairs etc... However be careful as the deck is extremely slippery when wet. The service in the restaurant was outstanding and the breakfast spread was so great, so many delicious options it was hard to decide what to eat! Staff even insisted on bringing fresh dosa or food if it was sitting a while in the buffet tray. I'd definitely stay here again if coming to Amritsar

Very good experience as the staff at the Ramada Amritsar Hotel was exceptional during my recent stay. The location is good and it is a 10-15 mins walk to the Golden Temple. The rooms are very spacious. We arrived past midnight due to flight delay and when we checked in, the front desk staff were quick and efficient, making the check-in process seamless. The housekeeping team kept the room spotless . The staff at the buffet breakfast were accommodating and served meals with a smile especially Rajwinder. Food served for breakfast the 3 days I stayed was about the same and reasonably tasty. Overall, the hospitality and professionalism of the hotel staff greatly enhanced my stay, making it a memorable experience.

We have been visiting Amritsar every year once from past 14 years, except the pandemic year & have tried a lot of hotels for our stay. Past couple of years, we identified Ramada Amritsar to best fit our needs. Location is ok, not too far & not so close to Golden Temple & amidst shopping g paradise. The rooms are good & service is also really good. Just small hassle to get on, use GPS & follow it. Highly recommend if you are traveling with family.

Had a wonderful stay at the property. The location is very good as it is just 3 kms from Golden temple and all other spots and food joints. The staff was very courteous and the roof top pool added to our experience. Strongly recommended.

Service is an issue with the hotel in all spheres whether you r in dining and even at check out. I got a very interesting answer from reception that they have no boy to take my luggage while check out and this was, when I requested my final bill approx 15-20 minutes ago. Duty Manager was comfortably sitting and listening all these silly answers from his team but not bothered to intervene. They are enjoying business due to the vicinity of hotel from Sri Harminder Sahib Golden temple. Food quality, food menu in buffet were good.

We 2 families had come for a 2 day trip to Amritsar. The rooms are comfortable and airy. The hotel itself is well maintained, clean with an excellent set of service staff. Checkin took a little time, but otherwise the experience was great.

We really had an awesome experience staying at the property .loads of good points to share ,among all one of the positive part is their hospitality which actually make them every work possible. Ambience , room space , basic necessities in room are superb . Staff during breakfast time are so courteous and generous. For sure in budget. Food is awsome. Cake is recommended. And high quality and service while staying. Few ups and downs are there but that can be ignored. Near gurudwara sahib. For sure recommended. I checked out and stayed in the hotel for 3 hours as my train was after the checkout hours. Service team checked and deposited my forgotten house keys but never informed the customer nor wished to inform even after 24hrs. I reached home and realised the same and contacted the hotel then they said the key is with lost and found department. I wonder the customer was there but they didn't do the required steps if at all i would have used the bar items (if present) then the charge would have been incurred there and then but forgotten things are not to be informed for return. I hate this after service from the hotel. Rest i had the best experience.

Had a decent stay at Ramada Amritsar. The place is super clean, convenient location, and the staff is friendly and efficient. But, the food was a bit meh. Limited choices and not the tastiest. Might wanna check out nearby spots for a better bite!

Beautiful hotel, great location and above all fantastic staff. Each employee goes out of his way to provide outstanding service. The Hotel Manager has apparently empowered the team, never to say no.

Because there are very few highly rated star hotels in Amritsar, this hotel has advantage due to its proximity to Golden temple and partition museum. We in group of 12 friends stayed here for 2 nights. It's average in term of overall facilities, perticularly carpets in rooms and in lobby are poorly maintained. Terrible view from room balcony. Also Bathroom is poorly maintained. Hotel Staff is well mannered and courteous. Breakfast menu variety and test of items served is good.

Had a very comfortable stay. Housekeeping and other facilities are really good and provide quick service. Pool on the terrace is quite soothing. And this location has all the places to visit nearby only. It holds the complete package of what one can look for in a stay. Highly recommend for it!!

This Hotel is just awesome. It provides much more in the price which is quite reasonable as compared to other 4star hotels. Loved the ambience. Loves the neatness and hygiene specially in this covid time. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and others as well😄. Just a small problem. Wifi speed can be increased. My mobile internet was faster than wifi which should not be the case.

Very Nice Hotel with beautiful ambience, beautiful interiors and very fast check in and check out process. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food is lil expensive and lil lacking in taste. Breakfast spread was amazing and tasty. Lot of varieties to choose from. Staff is very helpful. Very close to Golden temple (approx 800m). Overall 5 star for the stay. I will definately recommend.

Very costly but as compared to value of the hotel or name worse facilities and property, rooms are not properly cleaned all the dust is on table, beds almirah. I never recommend to anyone to stay here.

Location is perfect if you are visiting the Golden temple. Food is good. They have valet parking car was safe during my stay.i noticed guests from all states so it must be popular.

Well maintained and clean. The plus point is that it's centrally located and easily accessible to the shopping area around as well as walking distance to the Golden Temple. The staff were helpful as well as the chauffeurs who came for our airport transfers & sightseeing.

Stay is nice, food is average. In room dining (food) below average. Staff courteous, open for feedback. Location for Harmandir or being fairly in the middle of the city, has its advantages. Everything is just okay, only thing is it's not a 4 star experience.

Wonderful Stay as usual at Ramada Amritsar. Great proximity to the market and 10 minutes walk to the Golden Temple. Clean and Sanitized rooms, Buffet options were good for breakfast. Ravinder (Housekeeping) - Made the room tidy and was helpful throughout the stay. Bacharita (Restaurant) - Good service and quite welcoming.

Bit disappointed by the room provided, it had no window or balcony. It felt claustrophobic as no proper ventilation. In bathrooms too exhaust didn't work. Service side it was better. Food too was average. Location wise this place is very nice. Key areas nearby including Starbucks. Had a good walk nearby in chilli and foggy morning.

Don't even think of staying anywhere else in Amritsar if your sole objective is to walk upto the golden temple everyday. It's a 10 minute walk to the temple and the location is not it's only USP. The staff is courteous, the rooms are decent and the food is very delicious!

We 3 stayed for two nights .. not worth to the price . The overall facilities of the hotel is poor… it’s very dull particularly carpets in rooms, bed sheets and towels. The toilets are poorly maintained. Terrible view from room balcony. Hotel Staff is courteous but some doesn’t bother about the customer. Breakfast menu doesn’t have much variety but the tastes of the items served are good.

Hotel is very neat and clean. 1 km (15 mins walk) to the golden temple. Very good service by the hotel staff. The restaurant is awesome, good breakfast, good food and very well organized. Would love to stay there again if at Amritsar. We had a pick up from the train station - a visit to Wagha border - by hotel taxi service. The drivers are very well behaved and very friendly. Thanks Ramada for a wonderful experience.

Great hotel and the only one this good (4-5 star rating) in the old city. 5-10 minutes walk to the Golden Temple (and what a walk, through the traditional bazar of Amritsar). Room was great as was cleanliness. Washrooms need to be better maintenaned/upgraded. Food I didn't have but the breakfast buffet had awesome food and ticked all the right boxes.

Definitely a 3 star hotel, food was very limited for foreigners and was ok at the most. Their Indian food is good but for people who don’t like Indian food, they have chicken sausages, egg, cereal and fried potatoes all which are bland. Rooms are nice but the view isn’t the best. Room service is good as well with them being fast and efficient. Pool and Gym and very small and pool goes to 3 ft. Wifi is slow and most applications will take a while for it to load. Location is good though because The Golden Temple is in walking distance.

Everything about this place is perfect. The rooms are clean and big. The food is delicious. Staff are very friendly and attentive to details. The location is perfect as everything you ever want is nearby. The Golden Temple is just a walking distance away. Street shopping is even closer! The whole ambiance and atmosphere here is just so welcoming and soothing. Highly recommended.

Overall not a very good experience, the check in was quick but there's no discount in person so if you get a better deal online then pre-book, the room was EXTREMELY small and the air conditioning was either too cold or too hot all night. Also the location is not very convenient and traveling via local auto/electric rickshaw isn't comfortable. The only good thing was the night staff while checking out, since we had to check out very early they had readied the packed breakfast upon prior requests and the check out was quick.

The hotel is located within walking distance to the Golden temple ,jallianwala bagh and partition museum. The room was very comfortable, and very clean. Hotel staff is courteous, polite pleasant and very helpful. Made us feel at home. Enjoyed the food at the restaurant. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Overall experience was good. Rooms are ok but the most important missing thing is the view from the window. For such room traffic you definitely expect a good view from your room window. Also the extra bed provided doesn't have the spring mattress, which was a real disappointment from such a big brand name.
