best location just few steps from shri Akal takhat sahib, little bit parking issue but they manage well, awesome view from top floor of Shri Darbaar sahib

We’ve been a customer here for more than 13 years now, but this stay disappointed us highly. Feels like they changed nothing and barely maintained all these years. They take advantage of their location, right in front of golden temple, but provide no facilities. It’s not even like a hotel anymore, and more like a guest house. Horrible bathrooms and stained bed sheets, hair would be found everywhere. Disgusting is how I’d describe it now, it really had a standard before. We had to get our hotel changed the next day because it was so uncomfortable to adjust here. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Please work on improving.

We were travelling from Mumbai and booked for 4 rooms, checked in on 22nd late evening. We choose Le Golden Hotel as it’s just few steps away from Golden Temple superb location when you want visit golden temple.. Requested for getting all the rooms on the same floor however they gave 3 on the same floor room no #1001 #1002 #1004 and #3003.We had couple of issues in rooms as refrigerator not working lights were fused and the main in one room the air conditioner was not effective, on 23rd morning we approached the reception desk they said we will look into.. when we came back at night on 23rd the air conditioner did not have much cooling effect, hence On 24th I personally approached the reception again asked for follow up about it Mr Raj at the desk requested him come in the room and check.. On the other hand he replied and said why don’t I get get in touch with person at night if the cooling was not effective the manger Mr Raj expected me as a guest to come and take a follow up at night where in I entered the hotel late night and the night shift concern person was sleeping on the couch in the lobby. More over than Apologising the manger Mr Raj is telling me why don’t come in the evening and took a follow up and demanded a room change for the room in which the air conditioner was not working.. and mentioned they don’t have material for bulb change so could not do.. During all the conversations from the beginning Raj’s voice was loud and does not have respect to talk to guest special lady guest talking loudly in front other people who every staying in the hotel and on the try to explain me the rights I have as a guest Afrontly asks me what do I what.. After all this later In the afternoon I had go again take a follow on it then Raj mentions you change the room.. I will never recommend this hotel to any of friends or family members to come Mr Raj the manager does have managers to talk and has no respect Rating Housekeeping 3/5 Service by room dinning and Bell Boys 4/5 Service given my Manger Mr Raj 1/5

The staff is not helpful. The only good thing is location of this hotel and it is infront of Golden temple. But, it is challanging to reach hotel bcz local police do not allow autos, cars on most of the roads. If you are planning to reach here through your car then i will suggest you to choose hotel at different and outer area. Reason of low rating: 1. Rooms was not neat and clean. 2. Washroom was also dirty and dusty. 3. Bedsheet was not clean and it was previously used bedsheet. 4. Food was below average.

The worst hotel ever. The rooms are not sound proof, there are small cockroaches dead and alive everywhere. The kitchen on the top floor has a lot of rats roaming around. Location is great but that does not compensate for the hotel facilities and the quality. The staff is very friendly though and very caring so that is a plus point and only positive side. They cannot help but continue to run the hotel and hope the owner realize sooner than later to improve the quality of the hotel.

Amazing- Hotel Very very near to the Golden Temple Amritsar approx. 50mtr distance between hotel to The Tem Temple..nice stay_Room are neat and clean..overall nice experience...

It use to be a decent hotel but in this visit, I saw rooms with cockroaches, even after changing the room, the problem of cockroach remains the same. The breakfast food quality has gone down too. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone

The most closest option to stay next to golden temple. Joda ghar is 1 min walk form le golden. During gurpurab you can your fireworks from roof top overlooking darbar sqhib. Truly recommend Le Golden and manager Mr Raj for their hospitality, location and simplicity.

I preferred this hotel as it is a stone's throw from the Golden Temple. I had the suite, and it was very comfortable for my family of 4. The breakfast served was freshly cooked and delicious. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Let's start with the positive the hotel is actually next to the Golden temple. But the rooms are a big disappointment. Rooms are very small and property is old. The view is also not there. Service needs improvement (rooms were not ready @ 2:30 PM). Though informed in the morning that we will reach by 1:30 PM. Breakfast food is ok.

Overview: Good big neat and clean place very close to the Golden Temple. Its a stone’s throw away from Golden Temple. Hygiene: Basic cleanliness is maintained. Don’t expect Hilton standards but basic hot water and clean bedding is consistent. Ambience: Very basic ambience …. Nothing special Music: Good pleasing regional music Staff: Decent & efficient staff …. Very quick service Parking: No dedicated parking and cars or cabs are not even allowed in this area. You have to depend on the battery rickshaws for moving around here. Food Taste: Basic food and decent options. But its so close to Golden temple that you can go there for Langar. I will definitely recommend the place since it is so close to the Golden temple.

Very rude and unprofessional staff at reception. Completely arrogant and zero customer service. They offer a room which has open bathroom window without any cover and they wanted the customer to use it without cover. How are they expecting the customer to use this kind of washroom where people are walking on the other side and peeping in the washroom. Super pathetic experience... Would never book this hotel ever again and would not recommend this to my friends, family members and office colleges..

This was my second visit at this hotel. It was an okay hotel with the only appealing thing is it's bang opposite of the golden temple with car parking. But this time things have gotten worse. It has become very hard to reach the hotel with your own car during the day. Toilets are in very bad shape, morning breakfast is the worst of them all.

Very close to golden temple. But rooms are average. No proper service. Buffet breakfast is horrible, not too many options available. Stay on if you want to stay beside the temple.

Rather stay at CSJS Inn instead of staying here the rain was coming inside. Room and bathroom stinks, it use to be a lot better but now no they need a total renovation

The biggest advantage of this hotel is that it is very close to Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple). You can walk to back door of gurudwara sahib. Must stay for elderly and those who don’t want to get stuck in bad Amritsar traffic. The rooms are Ok. These are not very luxurious but good for anyone who has lived in a middle class house. You get breakfast as part of package and if you want they provide lunch /dinner options. But who wants it when you got Gurus langar just right across the corner. Overall must stay if you are lucky enough to get a booking as it is always full.

They don’t need customers, they threw us in another hotel and the other hotel kicked us out after one day, wasted many hours trying to get someone to help at Le Golden. Staff eventually helped but bad experience to move rooms several times.

My parents had awesome experience to stay at Lee golden.. It's in near Golden temple, everything is in walking distance, Mr Raj Verka (Manager)of the hotel , is very cooperative and humble. Excellent staff service & always ready on call.Super Deluxe Room was very clean and spacious can choose this hotel without any doubt Thank u once again 🙏

Have been tbeir customer for more than 3 years and never got an oppurtunitu to complain. Walking distance to Darbar sahib. Best way to reach this place is to call them and ask for assustance else one cannot reach on its own. Staff is great and so are the rooms.
